I'm still not really sure what Gundam I want to main. I'm kind of torn between Wing Zero, Deathscythe Hell, and Blue Frame. I really want to play Wing Zero, but he's 3k and I don't feel that would be fair to my partner since I'm not that good.

Okay, well to be fair I'm pretty sure that most people that play GG have 1 or more reasons to be at NCI on Saturday, if only just for the casuals that will probably ensue. I don't know, maybe you'll be able to get a bunch of people. I have to be at NCI on Saturday due to providing equipment.

I meant NCI, I'm not actually sure what Rod is doing since he never put anything really concrete up.

I've got other questions, but I'll dump them in the gundam extreme thread instead. Super NCI is this weekend. It sounds like we have the semblance of organization (Brackets Saturday, Finals Sunday), but do we have any specific time allotments for each tournament?

So, what's the best thing to do if you have another melee-intensive gundam chasing you down? I've tried boost dashing away while firing projectiles, but the cpu just dodges them and I can't actually get enough distance to escape. In that kind of scenario do you go for a jump, block or what? Also, does blocking work on everything? Finally, if I got the Asian version, do I need to create a Hong Kong PSN account or a Japanese PSN account to get the DLC stuff?

Finally got Gundam Extreme VS in the mail. From Amazon, apparently. I haven't paid a great amount of acute attention to the Gundam tournaments; what exactly is the team arrangement: 2v2 premades or 2v2 randoms? Also, I can't figure out how to dodge two gundams at once. Why does it got to be so hard to not die?

We could totally run side tournies for Shaq-Fu, Street Fighter 3D, SNES Sailor Moon, Spawn: In The Demon's Hand (2v2), Power Stone 2 (2v2), CvS1, Street Fighter 1, World Heroes, Clayfighter 63 1/3, Mortal Kombat 9, Pokemon Puzzle League, NFL Blitz (2v2), Touhou 12.3, Rag Doll Kung Fu, Atomic Bomberman (Norcal vs Socal, East Coast vs West Coast) and Pokemon Stadium 2. I'm definitely not saying we should run any of those. Spawn would be pretty hilarious at 1 am though.

BB scene better watch it. I've been grinding out training mode to the point where I'm now 40% sure I know how to play, as opposed to 25%. I know the buttons now, y'all better watch it.

Balance changes? The game seems pretty balanced, in my opinion. I mean re-balancing could be cool -Little Eddie's puddle and twin slash changed to mids instead of lows -Little Eddie recharge meter doesn't auto refill when unsummoned. Command Grab instantly fills Little Eddie meter. -EXE Beast on Testament vanishes if Testament is hit, unless you FRC. -Add an FRC to Anji's butterfly on the release -Hitbox on Johnny's 5S extends downward a tad -Improve Bridget's combo damage, but not her poke damage. -Remove Slayer from the game, but only in Norcal Honestly though, the game is pretty damn balanced.

Man, I go through the trouble of practicing the new MB only to hear it's probably getting dropped. Sad shit. On the other side, I guess I need to acquire GvG? Game looks fun I guess. How are we counting DLC? Are the tournaments random 2v2 or 1v1? How does one commentate 4 screens worth of Gundam, let alone stream 4 screens worth of Gundam? February NCI? Things that might be nice to know.

ALRIGHT! I'm FINALLY not sick anymore. When's the next gathering? I'm super salty for missing NCI.

How much does the DLC packs for this game cost?

Oh thank god, something to do during my sick leave from the fighting scene. I really need to see my match versus Kijiyama, watching me fight Chipp right now is disastrous.

For what it's worth I'm feeling much better than my last post, but I'm still not 100% sure I'll be able to make it to NCI. Even if I do manage to show, I don't think I'll be able to stay long into the night.

Okay so I've never been to EVO and am considering trying to go this year if luck rolls in my favor. Based on the lineup, I will not be entering any major tournaments, but I'm up for GG, MB, AH, and even BB side tournies. Financially speaking, how deep of a sinkhole should I be expecting to climb out of?

I'm not sure if I'll be able to go to NCI. I got extremely sick today, like 103 degree fever, so I'm just not sure if I'll be better by Saturday.
