So how is Melty gonna work? I know there's at least a couple people (myself included) that run a different control setup than standard stick layout, namely a pad layout. Might be a pain in the ass to close and reopen the game every time we need to reformat the controls. How does I bring my Melty setup anyway? Drag the whole fucking desktop computer down there? If someone can give me a rough estimate of how many Melty Blood setups people are already bringing, I will decide whether or not bringing my desktop will be necessary.

Just got back from Mexico. Couldn't find the alleged KoF Mexico scene, but I apparently "saved the Coco Bongo" as described by some drunk mates. Did anyone get a chance to check for my PS2 power chord? Still can't find it.

Okay, so I know it was like hella days ago, but I think I may have left my PS2 power cord at Gamecenter. Next time someone goes, any chance they can help me confirm? I'd do it myself but I'm going out of town for a few days. Also, it's for a slim PS2, so it will be a two-piece power cable.

You make me sad, the game really is beautiful. It's an action RPG, just play it. If you don't like it then whatever. If you find it too easy (which shouldn't be a problem) just bump the difficulty up. Not surprised. Muramasa was the only one I felt a little bad about on account of it being an off-system from our regular shit. If you haven't played Grim, it's really decent.

Hey Chun, I'm curious to know who won the raffles (on account of not being able to stay long enough). Also, I think we need to create a new system for food breaks. Like, an organizational method, one with scheduling, so that we don't find ourselves chasing people down constantly. Extreme VS was amazing I hope I get a chance to play not-garbage F-Len before the next NCI.

People still play this game, just not en masse. I'm honestly surprised it remained as popular as it did for as long as it did. Arcana Heart has always been like this though, so we'll just have to wait until the 4th game (never) comes out.

There is no reason for the main events to run this late, so the 1-3 AM region is somewhat unnatural. I think it's mostly because we don't actually start until fucking 3 PM. Anyways, Chun I've been holding these raffle games for 3 months so I intend to give them out come hell, NCI salt or the wrath of god.

Man, I was REALLY hoping they might have X as a separate character in the future, but thanks to that alt skin any chance of that happening is gone. It's still cool, but it leaves with me a fucking bitter taste. Maybe Megaman classic in the future? That's the only hope I've got at this point.

That sounds like sig material to me (though I dislike how much has to be cut, fucking sig limitations). Also, 2v2 Guilty Tournament was hype as fuck, despite how retarded some of the teams came out (Read Fred/Slayer, Magz/Tenkai, Honnou/Dabbit). I had a lot of fun with that, and it felt like a really fresh approach to GG for us. Regarding Melty, the only problem I saw was that I couldn't tell who I was supposed to be playing half the time, because apparently I wasn't supposed to play everybody. Strange Round Robin setup. Getting about 4 air throws from across the screen at the start of the match on multiple occasions was downright hilarious though. AH was pretty normal. I'm so sick of fighting Scharl though, that matchup is ass. I shouted at Xeno because he needs to stop getting punished by dumb shit. Block j.B. Done. I only found BB problematic because I ended up going NOT 0-2, which either means I'm getting better at stick or the scene is getting worse. Or both, cause I sure haven't gotten like any better at that game. Also, fuck Makoto.

Wait for the game to come out, then make your own hype combos. You don't need to wait for someone else to do it.

I'd be more than happy to help someone run a tournament. I hosted a GG doubles tourney once about 2 years ago to a bunch of people who have never played the game competitively, so I'm not completely inexperienced. However, I did the entire bracket on paper so I'm not sure what program everyone is using and how to use it. I also have a loud voice for calling matches out. Anyway, offering to help.
