  2. Never back dash tager when he has spark...ever. The only character that can do that is tager himself. The unblockable works because tager has slow pokes and we are more inclined to mash 360 or block. Jump and charging usually beat's spark but a smart tager will just walk towards you from there. Tsubaki's only tactic in this match is hit and run so kill when she goes on the offense. FYI her 5B can stuff us pretty easily and it leads into some decent damage.

  5. Ayo its Tsubaki and this match up is in our favor so lets talk about steam rolling this silly excuse of a character. Things you do: Watch what she do, don't throw slow pokes out, Magnetize her and liberally disrespect her. Things you shouldn't do: Respect her bad pressure, get hit, and sleep Pressure: A lot of her stuff can be IB 360'd with that said we are gonna talk about her special moves and more annoying normals. The shield rush AKA charging star's, Block it and punish, if you IB it then just 5A her to stuff whatever she has, no reason to get punished for doing a 360 when she gets scared to jump. The Dive Bomb: Block it, if you IB it then collect your 360B and enjoy your health lead. Unblockable: don't block it...its an unblockable. Seriously you can poke or 360 if you catch her doing it. (I get hit by it but laugh at tsubaki anyways.) Bison slide (3C I believe): Its jump cancel's on block and you can 2A AA or 2C her, it can be pretty nasty mid screen when your trying to use 5C to space her. 5B: You can stuff it with 5A or 5C depending on range otherwise block it. 2C: You can use your elbow to make her whiff otherwise block it. Notes: You have no real reason to backdash unless she's doing charging stars or Dive bomb which is pretty much a 360B punish anyways, she can use a projectile before the Dive bomb which is her asking you to sledge...don't do it. If she decides to charge then VTC or walk. (they tend to rush you down when you VTC well at least my local Tsubaki runs in.) Remember she can do damage with meter so don't sleep on her, you want to hurt her and get a health lead to make her come to you. What about her DP? 6A her during pressure and sledge her wake up's, she can't do anything about it, and if she thinks she can DP after sledge then remember we can litchi mode her. (SledgexN.) This match isn't bad at all, just don't throw out stuff mid screen...you know like we do against most the cast.
  6. Ok vs jin: Jin is a very simple match up and I'm gonna break it down for you. What you should do: get close to him like usual, he doesn't hurt as much anymore and his DP's are much of a threat without corner, as usual save your spark and make him want to use those DP's. What you shouldn't do: Throw out something with start up and get hit by DP's, don't get cornered or your gonna be in big trouble. Things to watch out for: 5C: this poke is fast and annoying and on CH leads into well over 3k. Expect this poke to beat some of your slower moves for a CH, you know like 4D and 5C. You can stuff it with 5A if you see it coming but at that range you won't get gadget and your only left with 4D...well if you have a spark you can always do 5A>5B>spark. Most cases just IB it and watch what he does. 6C: This poke can sometimes beat your jump in's and on CH leads to 4k+, Jin's tend to throw it out during his pressure, here's something you might not realize, you can actually backdash it but you gotta time it right otherwise you get slapped out of it, you can also IB it and wait for him to do something else but him doing this puts him at major risk, let me break it down: 6C only goes into 6B and DP's so what you do is wait for the 6B and punish the DP's accordingly, you can 5A/2A the DP but they can trade if your slow on it, remember air CH 5A combo's lead into magnetism and a decent bit of damage. J.C: Be annoyed, you don't have a real answer to it so just block it lucky for you he can't combo without CH. 2D: Yes this is a threat, its fast and despite being able to sledge it your probably gonna get hit trying, just block it anything he tries at this point is putting him at risk unless he has the health lead. FYI this leads into a nasty little string: 2D>5C>2DxN you can actually sledge him if he tries to do this too much, Punish accordingly. DP's: Jin's DP's are the standard get off me move, expect him to use these if he smells a 360 or just can't deal with pressure, lets talk about them for a sec. A DP: Fast but not invincible, not all that safe either, he will use this as a quick AA, won't lead into a lot of damage and he can't combo without corner. B DP: Slower but invincible, -20 so punishing it is kinda situational, but it won't matter if you IB it, he will use this if he isn't confident of the AA A DP. C DP: Easy to bait, even easier to punish, just throw out a 5A and watch him whiff...murder him for it, it doesn't even lead into damage even with CH. D DP: This is the one that will get us killed, 1F invul and it hurts real bad if your in the corner, he can use this as a AA and a get off me move, if you just so happen to be near the corner then you just lost 4-5k, block the first hit and bait the second hit, remember your spark? yeah you can throw it out at your own risk, Second hit of his DP prorate's so well, don't let him hit you with it if you can. Jin's pressure: Watch for cross ups (both fake and pseudo.) and if he is persistent about it then do 2C for your 4k-6k fatal, IB stuff and watch for 6B's, 5C>2D and anything else that gives him frame adavantage, what moves give frame adavantage you ask: 6D/2D/6B Those are the moves you wanna punish. EX Ice blade leads into pressure and damage resets if you don't sledge it. I guess that about wraps jin up...man that's a lot to talk about for a even fight. Anything you guys wanna add?

Skye is secretly salty, he got that undercover shit going for him. i got more points than proto. @ Skye: At least you didn't have to fight bang 2 times because of the fuck up, then having to do your match over but this time it was a litchi who had 1/5 the skills of LK but still rapes you because litchi is assrape, then afterwards lose to a ragna only to fight that ragna again. Fuck this game. @ Toasty: white mans technology be failing man.

  13. That game is forbidden talk, we also agreed its not a fighter. Melty was a more appropriate answer. I'm more concerned about tager's normal throw...we can't follow up from it, makes me wonder what combo's do we get for it. Air hit 5B can't be combo'd without CH or FC either, hope Arc changes that.
  14. @ SJ Actually some characters have 6F normal throws and 7F back throws. but that has nothing to do with the point your trying to make. I like the throw change, that means I don't have to worry about people getting damage plus meter equivalent to a 360B. BBCSII: get a command grab or you suck.

They were trying to keep Brawl from being competitive. moving on, I am digging the system changes, tager will actually start being decent, IB nerf won't hurt his IB 720 game too much and finally something new to bitch at when a top tier shows up. Brand new game, brand new things for DL to whine about.

  23. air grab trap isn't unavoidable, you just got to look for it, I MTW'd because we hit the ground nearly at the same time. tager ditto's are pretty hectic. Everyone has those days when they weren't themselves, I was pretty much off my game yesterday but not today.

  24. No...we still need combo's and some characters barely got any info. (like noel and tao.) I just hope japan milks everything they can out of this before its too late...I just hope tager keeps some of this and maybe a couple more buff's before this weeks test is over.
