You're on, good sir. Just let me fire up the Ps3. -
Why do you say Haku is best on the ground? This would imply Tao is stronger in A v. A than A v. G, which I doubt is the case. Can Hakumen more effectively counter her mixup from the ground than the air?

Whoa, dude. Honest mistake. One of the local Tagers keeps calling it Spark Volt, so I was thinking of that while typing. And yes, I meant to write hcf.D, dunno why qcf.D came out instead. So, matches? :3 -

Do you mean Spark Volt? That would be qcf.D, I think. If it magnetizes, it's a D move. I need to play your Tao. I need Tao exp! -------- And Zeron/iRHokage, too. I leveled up a bit vs. Tager. We need to get in some matches. -

Hey, I played your Plat last. Good stuff. We should get some more games in, I have a serious lack of matchup exp there. -

Haha, yeah, I noticed that. I more or less play him weekly. You both have nasty Bangs. Not my favourite character to play against. You more or less need to burst anything that leads into seals or FRKZ. GGs anyway, been a while I went up against you. You and Kaeru have interesting, though opposite styles. He's much more about FRKZ and oki setups, and I think you're more about working the seals and getting mixups. Good stuff, yo. GGs Black, too. Don't be afraid to be aggressive with Ragna. His spacing is slightly superior to Hakumen's. You just need to be more proactive and mount an offence. If you respect Hakumen too much, he'll faceroll you any way he wants as I think I demonstrated, lol. Oh, and throws. To make Rag's offence scary, add in some throws so I don't try and counter everything. Then you're more or less set. -

Good lord, Nolan. What a night... Ok, long story short I'm a bit too tipsy so I didn't realize I missed my train station. So instead of getting off at Roxboro-Pierrefonds, I get off at Ile Bigras... And as the name suggests, it's off-island. FML There is no train going back in to MTL, but one train left going out. So I run for a bit to check the area around from the edge of the river. No bridges except for the one I came from, and that's pretty much train-only. I assess that taking a taxi would be prohibitively expensive. Walking back over said (non-illuminated) bridge appears to be the best idea (lol). As I'm contemplating the risk of this venture, a black guy who is more or less our age comes up to me and it turns out we're in the same boat. Seeing where this is going I just take the lead and suggest running across. Turns out the planks are actually spaced-out, so no running in the dark. Half-way through, the spaces between the planks get larger so we need to be doubly careful. So yeah, we cross the bridge and walk the 5 miles back to the next train station. I hightail it back home from there. I should've got the guy's Facebook, he seemed pretty chill. I don't care if this was stupid, I still thought it was cool to do. I just won't be doing it again. ------ Aside from that, VS is super cool and fun. Might grab it after all. Louis is still a based beast in GG. And thanks for the Haku advice, Kaeru and Pedro! -

I feel Brice is a lot more RTSD than Heartless. More proactive, works harder for his wins. Heartless is more chill. He knows he'll get you eventually with a random gimmick. I'll be there later today. Gotta get in some GG with Heartless and maybe try VS. -

Gore will have to wait for me. The ol' bike isn't starting, so I won't be riding on the 15th after all. -
I would rather use 5a, tbh. Even better, keep to the air and don't stop moving. You'll land a hit eventually, do big dmg, and you'll be ok.

Sweet! Looking forward to properly doing matches with you at UMAD, Ama. We didn't get to do that at NEC. :D -
Ok, thanks for the info, I'll try that stuff out then. May have to eschew IAD j.D for something else if it's that hard to get consistent with, though...

GG best game. My BB skills are going to rust at this rate. My OP Slayer is going to get even more OP. I'm going to see how far I can push his dmg off random hits, lol. Need to get those links down, though. Shouts to all those I played games against. Heart, thanks for the KOF tutorial. I'm going to practice that stuff tonight so I don't forget. Shouts to the waiter for being awesome as usual. :D Finally, gl hf to Brice who will be leaving us soon. Bring together the Belgian FGC and take over Europe! -
So I'm finally getting around to the mid-screen stuff after getting my other combos down more or less in matches. Most links also feel pretty natural by now. Thanks for all the help on that, btw! Now what I'm seeing is that for mid-screen combos it's some variation of [launcher] -> IAD [j.P -> j.K / j.K -> j.K / j.H / j.D -> j.2k] -> [c.S / 5K / 5H] -> etc. Would these be correct? A couple questions, then. I've been practicing IAD j.D and can barely get the j.2k out, so the guy hits the floor and the combo ends there. I tried sjAD.D instead, but that seems more height-dependent so I'm having trouble connecting it. Last Q, after say 2D RC -> 5H, should the 5H always optimally be min height?
-
Pay them no mind, I was just kidding. :P Agreed on what you're saying, though.
-
Only if said Tager can force the matchup. Otherwise it's RTSD all day. Mash 5a all over him into whatever. But that said, high level is the only real level. :P This is actually part of why I think it's not in Haku's favour. Your zoning has minimal reward for the potential risk you're taking. Tager's risk/reward is skewed in his favour here. His comeback tools are stronger than yours as well. Haku's the risk-taker in this matchup. :\ I still hesitate to qualify this a 4.5-5.5 (sorry, Sans) H:T matchup. Maybe 4.9-5.1 because Tager makes you feel all shitty. :P

I don't know how I'd take that. Just do like Gil. Nod, say "thanks", and take it as a compliment. Hm-hmm. Yep. That'd be best.
