  1. I was looking forward to this version even after loving CP the most out of any of her versions, but this is depressing to read. No one wants to play a brain-dead game. The uphill battles are always the most enjoyable. All I can do is reserve judgement for a month or so until I can get my hands on it to test it out, though.
  2. I had some time at work, so I went ahead and added most of the frame data to the wiki. I skipped a few due to notational reasons. I'll go back and do the translations later.
  3. It says that the HS vertical is slower to come out, but has more untechable time thus it is a staple ability in air combos. Edit: Changed hitstun to untechable time (not a huge difference, just phrasing)
  4. I just decided to go the May route and have been on here quite a bit the last week. I just wanted to say thanks Rurouni for keeping new videos and information in this subforum as it's otherwise quite dead. If I have time, I may look at translating those move explanations for the wiki if it isn't done already.
  5. We have the mobility to deal with it. We have CA as well. After CP, you should have plenty of practice in blocking and using your mobility to stay out of those situations as much as possible.
  6. I was always fond of playing a char that isn't played by most, but I'll take what I can from the situation. I'd like them to get wrecked by me..not the MU. Perhaps that is why I enjoyed lower tiers. Less crutches and more creativity and skill. Then again, things aren't that black and white..and never will be in fighting games.
  7. This thread has blown up with panic and entertainment, keep it up. I'm interested to see how the "tiers" get fleshed out over time. I was enjoying myself in mid-tier, but if the frequency of hatemail goes up, it goes up. I expect an influx of Nu players, so it'll be nice to play more people who know the matchup if that becomes the case. Looking forward to learning it all.
  8. Sorry. Right when I thought I'd be working normal hours again and have some BB time, I got slapped with a bunch of processing work and am back to 12 hour days in the lab. I'd play a set with you otherwise. I may be on tonight though, depending on my dinner situation and other responsibilities...though I'll be a little rusty.
  9. I was referencing the fact that the lobby is quite empty as of late. It will probably spring back to life at a later time.
  10. I usually pass when I've gone through the room once. People generally don't want to play Nu nonstop and and I don't have a sub. I think everyone should get to play everyone. That being said, I don't exactly frown on those who decide to keep playing. "Loser passes on" has always been the go-to rule for multiplayer games for me and many others. I'll go to another room if I don't want to fight that guy, the wait is too long/I'm short on play time, or I've gone through the room and decided I should probably leave due to various reasons. Everyone has different circumstances. That's one of the great things about the lobby system, may it rest in peace...for now.
  11. A lot of the changes look really fun. Nu looks especially entertaining, so I'm really looking forward to this version.
  12. I don't see why they would release a ton of info. Nothing sells the arcade side of this more than full-blown curiosity. This way there's no people refusing to go play because they don't like the changes to their character or anything. They'll have to go and find out for themselves. This goes for the people who are thinking of picking up the game again after seeing the trailer/advertisements/announcements. Hope makes money. We'll have feedback long before we need it. Just give it another week.
  13. It won't. They are purchased on two independent stores set up for separate regions. Think of them as separate games when it comes to purchasing any type of dlc. This holds true for any game in different regions as far as I have experienced.

  16. I'm looking for some good matches after work today if anyone is interested. All of this Relius discussion has me realizing that it has been awhile since I've fought one.
  17. The only Unlimited character I've ran into was a guy running 30 second rounds with U. Hakumen. If I join a player room and they're all rocking mics, I may stay and use mine or just leave depending on how they speak/my mood. I guess you could say I'm judging them, but if they're talking shit about someone or complaining when I "walk in", I have no desire to play with them, regardless of skill level. A large amount of people are not worth your time..and people are the only things playing this game. You'll always find someone like that, just walk away. It's not like you can show them the error of their ways by beating them or anything, they'll just have excuses or RQ. I'm not out to fix other people, just to enjoy getting better and play some matches with the pleasant people I find along the way.
  18. I've had trouble since the dp input priority shift. I can't micro dash cavalier (236C) when I need to. It's not every match, but there are times when I do use it (attempt to) and now I just get a DP. I never had problems with 623 inputs from a micro dash before like what they were trying to correct, but thankfully this new problem isn't something that comes up EVERY match.

  20. GGs to Koopa and Errol. Koopa, great matches. I hope you make it out to BADC again so we can get some more offline matches. Errol, that was a real blast. Your Rachel is a lot of fun to play against and the random shenanigans (trading CT crumple and my not realizing it..) made it that much more entertaining. Well played, man. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I'm in dire need of some edibles.
  21. We are one, TD.. As far as I've seen, no actual character information was announced. There was the small amount of gameplay shown in the stream and that is it. We'll have to wait for hands-on testing come the 9th.
  22. They announced 2.0 hitting the JP arcades on October 9th. Loketests probably won't happen in the two-week interim. We'll get to see what their "final" decisions on a lot of these seemingly bizarre alterations are then.
  23. It was definitely a great set. I feel lucky to have so many great sets right after coming back considering how empty the lobby is right now. I look forward to more. Wonderful Tsubaki as always.
  24. GGs Phantom_Reaver and Blackwing. Those were great matches. That Hazama MU was wonderful. I thought It'd take me a bit longer to get back into the swing of things, but after that, I'm feeling the game pretty well. Well played guys.
