  1. I think one would say "safe to assume" in that situation...as it may not be a correct assumption, but a strong argument exists to draw assumptions from. Either way, it's a bad habit of mine to over-analyze things and it's not really important. I should have left it alone. My apologies. More on topic. I hope this doesn't stay through the loketests. I think an air option after the cancel is a great tool for both OHs and escapes after blockstrings when the opponent is under pressure and respecting you. We will see, I guess.
  2. I also think that is what he was testing in that video. Not to nitpick, but "correct to assume" isn't the best phrasing since there is not any solid proof..only speculation on someone's play. If they said "fuck! You can't use air options after crescent anymore!~?" then you'd be ok...but he could have just been doing tks and jump crescents for the looks for all we know.
  3. I expect more footage to pop up soon. I was gone all weekend, so I hope to catch up on more loketest videos of both of them. I'll be sticking with Nu though...not to say I won't pick up Lambda as a sub of sorts.
  4. From http://www.gamer.ne.jp/news/201408070040/ 4B(6B) will crumple on hit and launch on CH. I'm not sure if this has been posted. I just got back and am skimming through stuff on ze lunch break. ..and they seem to be still calling it 4B.
  5. Well, I've been gone for the last few days, but it looks like this train never really stopped, lol. I'm looking forward to seeing what changes they make next, honestly. I miss my mode switch already, but we've got the tools and dedication to adapt and keep learning, which will be fun. CP was my most enjoyable iteration so far after all and I've thoroughly enjoyed the new Nu. However, I see a lot of salt over these potential changes, but who really knows where we'll end up. Just keep playing until the day you don't find it fun anymore. I wouldn't worry too much until then.
  6. I'm midwest, but I have decent connection with the east coast, I believe.
  7. Alright. If we can do it after a j.2D, that's fine with me.
  8. Where was this posted? That doesn't sound good at all.
  9. That's a lot of sparkles for such an ass whoopin..
  10. That bitch has had tunnel vision from day one. It's about time she learned to turn the hell around. Best buff of CP2.
  11. Yes. 44 act parser has been replaced. She has to have had a dash acceleration buff or something. It just looks faster to me. It could be other factors though.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2MfZBjNpI0&list=TL5_GyfVi5S5-i6Xw2m1rrTST3cfa_tkAQ
  12. Shots being fired left and right in here. Somebody buy these boys a missile defense system!
  13. It's highly possible, but something could be tweaked to take a little load off of its exclusive console...I would hope.
  14. Actually, I would like one change to growler now that I think about it. Don't let the damn game slow down when he absorbs multiple hits. The whole pace of the match shouldn't change if he absorbs multi-hit moves. He's invincible to everything and I can't even move. We're both at a loss when it comes to what to do next because we're sitting in a slideshow.
  15. I'm not sure. Perhaps the Luna version of it which lacks a deadzone and ground bounces more?
  16. You can't be serious.. Trolling?
  17. I don't know about other characters, but he can already growler on reaction to swords. Seeing as they've reduced his startup and moved all of Nu's priorities/overheads to projectile moves, this MU is going to be fun as hell come 2.0. I honestly don't mind how he is. Smart Azraels do more than growler anyway and I don't enjoy playing the ones that rely on it. I don't see much changing.
  18. I think it's just gone. It may be 6B for Lambda. I am also ok with its removal if Crescent combos.
  19. I remember hearing that. He didn't mention it in the interview, though.
  20. Looks like they just removed 4B entirely on Nu. I misread that. My apologies. Fixed.
  21. Dealing with pressure with 2.0 Arakune: Step 1: OD Cancel Pressure Step 2: BEES!!!! Step 3: GRGLRBRGLRGRGLBRGLR
  22. I feel like Tager alone would destroy this idea.
  23. Yeah. I compiled a few posts into that one and shyt got cut short, so I just removed it. Thanks.
  24. A lot more information on Lambda/Nu in that one. I've compiled it in the Nu gameplay thread for those interested. Looking good so far.
  25. From the Famitsu Interview: http://www.famitsu.c...8/07058595.html "加藤 ニューは、“フェイスリフト”を使って、“ディアフォルマ”と“ルナフォルマ”というふたつの戦闘スタイルを切り替えながら戦うキャラクターでした。しかし、その戦闘スタイルの切り替えが操作難度を高くしてしまっていたので、ニューとラムダのふたりにわけようと。" TL: Using "phase lift", Nu could switch between dia form and luna form while fighting, but switching styles that way ended up being quite difficult, so we split her into Nu and Lambda. There's the confirmation. She was split due to difficulty...that's a shame "加藤 ラムダは、ニューのような遠距離戦が得意なキャラクターを使いたいけど難しすぎるのはちょっ と……という人に向 けたキャラクターにしたかったので、ニューよりも扱いやすくシンプルにな性能に調整しています。一方のニューは、ラムダの登場でフェイスリフトこそ. なってしまいましたが、各種必殺技にタメの要素を追加してあるなどテクニカルな操作は残してあります。" TL: Lambda will excel in long range like Nu, but will be much simpler to play and be much less technical. On the other hand, Nu has been given many new tools and abilities making her very technical to play, even without the phase lift mechanic. Lambda's Crecent will hit overhead and can be used as a crossup. Lambda's chains will be easier. She is supposed to be zoner-lockdown/rushdown Example: If you input 5C > 6C, you can input the 6C any time after the first sword hits from the 5C and as soon as the last sword hits, the 6C will come out. It won't cut the 5C short. He goes more into the input restrictions of Nu's act parsers and cancels..and how if people are not satisfied with Lambda...to play Nu. Nu's 4B removed. To open people up, TK crescent saber cancels will be important at close range. Well, I'm looking forward to Nu more than I was before.
