We'll definitely play again. I'll add you if you don't mind. I always need Jin experience and I plan to start playing again now that my work schedule has lightened.

GGs to Icing and Crownbar. Xillia has me feeling bad for not playing this. I'm glad I decided to jump on as our matches were pretty fun. Shoutouts to dropping 5DD > 6DD. Apparently, I can't carry a conversation and hit a single button. I look forward to more in the future. Well played.

I agree that about 90% of what I've seen in our forums is complaints regarding 2.0. I was very excited about CP as I got to play both characters at once. People will ALWAYS find a reason to bitch. If you don't like the new character, don't play it...though this can be said about just about any topic.

In a sense. I'm not really worried about it and am kind of looking forward to the options given to Nu. I really enjoyed the mode switch and freedom it gave, but it is what it is. I found this iteration to be the most enjoyable out of all of them, but the amount of tools given to Nu in the new version has me very interested...and in all honesty, there's nothing they could really do to her that would make me switch. They could replace her swords with sticks and I would still spend my days throwing twigs at everyone I could.

CP Nu was split into two characters (Nu/Lambda obviously). As such, Nu players will have to relearn the character (whichever/both) and seeing everyone worry about mere nerfs with that in mind only makes it harder to stomach for some.

Who wouldn't? Those things were a blast as a kid...and in college for that matter. Also, I'm interested to see how all of this evolves and how they use the feedback from the first loketest. I'm not too worried about it. I guess after having your character cut in half, patch notes are irrelevant and we just have to look forward to relearning the character again.

That's not a bad system. It gives people time to really work on things in between rotations as well. I wish I could drive up there on Mondays for it, but that's an impossibility with my work hours. I look forward to seeing the matches.
-
Not that I'd be able to make it, but seeing CP reduced to side tourney status makes me sad. I'll definitely still try to tune in online, though.

lol. I need to get back on this game. Work and Xillia have been taking all the times....and perhaps some Hearthsone here and there..damnit.

I'm not sure about any of the move names as I've barely played it、but... - Tsukiyomi:fatal counter with Furious action - After guarding j.2D, destroy the persona with a rising j.A - After guarding his Furious action, dashing into a cross-up 5C always lands. - If he uses j.B, you can beat it out with a rising j.A before it comes out or just jump back and use j.B The last one, I'm not sure. Sorry. These are just what I take away from it, so someone should check them.

[CP] Vita Match Finder/GG Thread
BloodWolF replied to vKhalinpopopodhd's topic in BlazBlue Online Play
Damn..I've been playing this game on the wrong system. This thread is hysterical. -
The real estate wording is probably in my memory from then, yeah. That's a good example and overview of the matchup to look at.

Toan already listed good reasons that limiting yourself to Luna is not a great idea. Your mobility and sword push-back are important. Just don't autopilot into things and play smart. If you're just going to 236D full screen, he'll gain ground to you via the air/sledge. Even if you hit him once or twice, if he makes half the screen in the exchange, it's a bad trade. Screen space is half this MU. You've got to keep your screen real estate, otherwise he'll make it in and ruin your day.

I personally enjoy playing against Rachels. When the pressure is on, it's pretty exciting to try and block the IOHs and when I'm in the corner covered in small creatures/plants/poles, it doesn't feel much different than other characters where you just wake up into crazy oki. I agree with TD in the sense that it is probably intended by this point.
-
I don't think you can "just" do any of those things. CT during sickle will probably work ONCE. After that, he won't give any shits to just barrier block/buster you depending on your distance. Run up OH can be grabbed as well if it's 4B and on block TK j.214D will leave you inches from him falling in recovery. There is a time and place for each of these things, so they CAN be used effectively, but I wouldn't say that it's your go-to plan against him..which is what was asked about.

Nu is a character that gets punished heavily for mistakes and he is one that punishes HEAVILY on the mistakes of his opponents. You have to the tools to make this matchup work well for you (not as well as it used to, but that's a good thing), but you just have to use them correctly. You're going to fuck up, we all do, but you can work on it and be patient with him. You'll know when you make a mistake..as your hp bar will probably go from full to 30% and you'll be waking up right where he wants you...in his casino of Tager games where your cards don't matter and grab tech is an illusion of hope. This matchup (and Hakumen) is like trying to stop a fully loaded train by throwing empty coke cans at it. Just stay out of his way and throw your "cans" when you have the opportunity. Edit: This doesn't mean you should never go in on him..just be smart about it.

GGs Nineball. Great Ragna. I really enjoyed the small set we had. I just wish the lag wasn't pissing all over our matches. That was the first time I had seen the OD grab super. I actually looked it up after the match to see if it was UB or what, lol. Also, the 5A AA was an interesting choice. Well played sir. When I have time, I'll try to reset my router and perhaps we can get another set in with a better connection.
-
TIL that Plat is the most realistic character in the game.
-
GGs to stayfree, megaman_zero, and others I played. Good matches tonight.
-
I usually just shoot them down. Even if I miss a 6D, they just land and jump again. I didn't log in to play missile defense...
-
A pet peave. People who double jump all round. I stand on the other side of the screen and do nothing..they double jump endlessly. I don't know what they're running from up there. I can see certain character using it effectively, but not just over and over. I can't even try to fight them seriously after seeing it the first round.
-
I'm usually drinking around round 1...but not to any excessive extent. I just enjoy a drink and some BB when I finally get home from work.
-
It's always done that. You are talking about the FRKZ one, yes? If you have burst, you can OD through it. That's pretty much your only option. If he gets all four seals, you're going to have to be VERY cautious about going airborne.
-
GGs to those I played last night. Dice, Bryant, Chickzama, etc. Starting to knock off that rust. Running into multiple high level Hazamas was a treat as well. With so many characters now, it feels like I go months without seeing certain ones.
-
Agreed. However, it's only the first test. We'll see what they do with the feedback they receive.
