  1. It's in there. 61 for bombs, 43 for drills, 53 for everything else (Dere). If you're going to pick up Vatista, expect frustration. I've been playing her since the uniel launch and, while she's really fun to play, it's hard trying to open an opponent up and perform very exact combos on confirm when your opponent is just slamming their face against their stick with Hyde/Orie and raping you in the corner with 3k+ combos and oki. Of course, I'm completely new to charge and negative edge characters, so I'm probably having more trouble than others. (I know there is probably more to their combos than that, but after dealing with Vatista's stuff, everything else feels that way..)

He's easy to shoot out of the air most of the time due to his hitbox, but a LOT of Arakune players love the hell out of his jump-fakeout-teleport bullshit..so watch how they use it and decide between AA sword and 5D for your punish based on their habits. Stay moving the whole match and don't let him get his curse/bugs going. Mobility is one of the best tools we've got going for us..especially against a sluggish fiend like Arakune.

  4. I do believe you've taken a few from me in Uniel..I definitely have trouble with that game。I forget about that damn shield and lose my drive for it shortly after getting on. We'll have to play more though.

  6. I guess we shouldn't play. Well, they know you're going for high damage because you're expending your resources that way. You can't blame them, but a gravity seed for a burst isn't too bad. This happens to me a lot, but sometimes they do get too anxious with it and burst before the gravity seed completes and you keep your meter...in which case you're back in neutral.
  7. Nice. We probably need to clarify that 236[D] is the sickle storm that wallbounces. I believe that 236D grounds like normal. The animation is also slightly different.

  9. Ty for pasting that over here. You saved me the trouble. I'll listen to the audio of the video later today and see if they add anything. I was wondering if anything was being said while they ran around the stage as Nu and Lambda early on, but I can't have the audio on here in the lab due to acoustic tests. I was hoping they were mentioning something about mobility. I don't recall them using sickle storm with Lambda in the video, did they? If they did, did anyone see how many hits it was? I noticed they changed the look (and hopefully hitbox) on Nu's sickle storm, so I wonder how Lambda's managed. Also at least j.2D launches from standing.
  10. Watching the video, Lambda has both versions. We'll have to see. I'm not sure if it just consumes less meter on whiff, but it looked like she was point blank and threw one after a 5C with no hitbox.
  11. Noticed changes (I haven't turned the sound on due to work, so I'll watch it again later to see what they're saying): Nu gets a new act parser. Nu has 3 versions of spike chaser. Lambda Cavalier wall bounces again Lambda Blade grounds Lambda Zwei can be canceled into Nail maybe? Lambda has 2 version of gravity seed, one with a hitbox for full meter and a one without a hitbox for less. Lambda 5C > 5D is a thing.
  12. I think you'll have some time before you see changes on the console version. There is a ton you can learn neutral and matchup-wise that will still be very valuable to you even after the patch. Don't worry too much about the changes and learn what you can.

  17. Honestly, I don't know how people play this character either. I'm struggling with it, but I'm hoping if I lose enough I might start getting the hang of it. GGs though.
  18. I would play Hilda for the swords, but I just can't. I can't hate the character I'm playing..and I decided I'd try to branch out with the charge character. I didn't think about the fact I'd be doing negative edge at the same time though.. I feel like my hands are playing two separate games of Twister and there is a drunk monkey next to me all angry and pissing all over the spinning needle...
  19. Not to mention I've never played a charge character, so I'm not even sure how to go about it. I've done some combos in training mode, but neutral in this game is beyond me as of now.
  20. I don't blame you. I can see this game being frustrating. I try so hard to be offensive, but even IF I get a hit in, I still can't make it into a combo.
  21. I have no idea what I'm doing in this game. It's so hard to open someone up with Vatista for me. This charge/negative edge crap WAY outside my comfort zone.
  22. Mine is still preparing as well. It says more shipment will arrive the 25th. Perhaps we missed the first boat.
  23. I think the HP of the character is actually Minerva's as Celica herself doesn't do the fighting and is a peaceful person. That's my assumption anyway.
  24. I think it went from Lambda Shock/Hype > What about Nu? > Mode change removed > Nu/Lambda differentiation > Nu Speculation > locked. I've translated and posted Lambda's stuff in the General Celica/Lambda Hype Thread for now and will copy it to Lambda's when it's unlocked.
  25. Well, we still don't know exactly what her drive does. It may not be DDDDDD for all we know.
