On the rest of the cast, you can just do the normal combos, but instead of doing a 2nd j.D after 6C 9Dash j.B j.D 2Dash you just do Web nail, land, daifunka.

  3. The Jin was smart and didn't spam DPs or much of anything and tried to bait Dora (which he baited a non-rapid cancelled Daifunka x_x), it was a good match IMO as well.

I want to highligh the moment where Bang does 5A 5B 2B 2C 214B dash 2A 5B jc j.A j.C 236D whiff 6-dash j.C My jaw dropped at that...You trick them into trying to block the D-nails but hit them from behind with j.C instead to start another combo... BUT EVEN MORE AMAZING uses the SAME bumper! dash 5A 5B 2B 2C IAD 3-dash 2B 623B 2363214C Quite an ingenious bumper setup... I'm going to be doing some bumper tests tomorrow.
  6. This matchup is easy... Just fight the person in real life. Bang mirror matches require both players to dress up as Bang (of course in their color) and duke it out. There's no way an epic match can amount to a mere television screen.
  7. You don't need to use D-nail pressure on Hakumen. It's not TOO hard to approach him or wait for him to approach you

  9. Just block the nails, or backdash and block so he can't really do much. If he tries to airdash at you, just use wind and a lobelia That's a terrible start for any Bang really. Usually when a Bang starts with a jump backwards, it's to watch what you're doing. Though that's a bad idea against Rachel since that just sets up for wind -> corner. Bang doesn't like his back to be in the corner
  10. No, I hold 6 so you get some momentum with the j.D, but you do NOT dash since you nee to dash down. I'll try to record it or something, or show you online. With the 9-dash you need to make sure you're high and behind Carl, which you need to let that 9-dash last for as long as possible before Carl can tech, then you can land the j.D
  11. Only problem with throwing while Bang is using his drives is that Bang can buffer throw breaks during the move despite it being a counter-throw.
  12. This is a hard match for Tager Online I just stay in the air all day against Tager and I'm almost NEVER right in front of him when he's getting up. A good Bang will try to avoid being in 360/720 range. Though if you just try to normally grab him out of his drives, he can still buffer grab breaks during his drives. I believe 360 should still work though. I don't know what to say. Spark Bolt gets me a lot from good Tagers. Also well placed Sledges. His air attacks are pretty easily auto-guarded since Bang can just do it on reaction. I don't really know what to say for Tager, it is a pretty dumb matchup for him with the lack of anti-air
  13. Spamming lobelias isn't always the best idea. Against Rachel I tend to 2D guard point them and tele in. If he's in the air, go ahead and use wind and your lobelias to start rushing him down, but also watch his nails He can only use his triple nail 4 times per round. I've been beating just about every Rachel I faced online including tons of 50+s. But yeah, cmon Rachels, I wanna see more from you guys (and more Miku)
  14. New and improved Carl throw. Grab 6dash j.B 2dash 6dash 6C 9dash j.B j.D 3dash j.C -> oki. - 2977 damage Carl can auto-tech right after the j.C so you have a VERY nice mixup situation on him. If you hit him with 5C 2363214C afterwards, it's a win for you since that does 5064 on top of your throw combo. 3968 damage with 6A 2C 6D 23632149C which is over 6k on top of the damage they had from you getting 4 seals. Meaning death for Carl After further testing Grab 6dash j.B 2dash 6dash 6C 9dash j.B j.D 2 or 3dash \/ 2C -> oki. - 3007 damage. You can throw Shurikens, etc for pressure like 2369D 6dash j.C mixup Yeah. Bang install is too good when you can utilize the pressure and mixups.
  15. Exactly, it's another air battle. Bang can go higher than Arakune with bumpers, but that's very strict placement, so it's really an air battle. Bang should be using alot of j.B and j.As. Though Ara has some alright air moves as well as his annoying teleport :/

I found another use for 6b :o Hear me out, it's not much, but it's still a mixup. 6A RC j.A (whiff on hit, or it will hit them in block) 2B 623B dash 2B 623B dash 6C j.C -> oki 3553 damage. 50% heat used. I tested this on Noel, she's too small for a 3rd 623b, so I just end with 6c ^ j.C. The timing in the start is tough and takes some practice. However!!! Against Ragna (haven't tested Tager and Hakumen, but they probably work too), you can do 6B RC j.A 2B 623B dash 2B 623B dash 6C 623B 2C -> Oki 3929 damage That's right! A TRIPLE SUPER CRASH COMBO WORKING WITHOUT A COUNTER HIT! of course you can do 2363214C before the 6Cs in both combos. It will do 5053 damage since the input will be the same. Maybe we'll be using 6B more often? It would be nice to see Bangs mix it up with a nice anti-low attack combo. Did more experimenting. If you're RIGHT UP to them, as in literally right next, it seems the 6b connects sooner so when you rapid cancel, you need to use j.B instead of j.A. When you're further, you can use j.A so there isn't so much of a gap between your aerial and your 2B. Once you land 2B, you can do whatever you normally do under guard situations like 2369D -> to another rushdown and either low or overhead guess for your opponent. Just keep your opponent thinking and on their toes. Possibly even afraid :D I don't think it's a waste of 50% heat now since Bang usually only combos into his supers, but some people are really good at blocking, and you need that extra up on them. Plus, the damage on the 50% combos are better than 2/5A 5B 2B 2C [6D for Carl and Noel] 2363214C
  20. An idea. If you're ever in the corner against Ragna, try to counter assault. Ragna's stupid safe offense crap is annoying and the corner is a bad place for you to be in. I've recently started using counter assaults more often, and Bang's definitely helps get the enemy off your ass. ESPECIALLY RAGNA

  22. Well Ara's 5C takes forever to come out though. he doesn't have a quick anti-air and Bang can cross up on his 5C by going over him and doing j.4c. Arakune has a bunch of invincibility when his tongue is out like that, he beats most air attacks, but as I said it's mad slow. I was playing Arakunes at C3 last weekend, and all of them had the same complaint that Arakune has no reliable Anti-air. So to the skies!

  24. I don't like 3c though. True it's an option if you're at a medium distance, but it's just I don't like how it works for the most part.
  25. Useless posts about score attack aren't going to help this thread... It's about learning how to use Bang. The computer can't use Bang for shit. They just get random hits.
