  1. @Avant Are you an AxlxJam shipper? And were you the one who posted an AxlxJam smut in ff.net? Just curious.
  2. Same goes for me... I think its because there are actually more people who's more interested in winning or showing off than experiencing gameplay. Actually, it goes that way for many things. It's where the hype actually lands. I like Tekken, but frankly many players do feel good with the hits they land off, especially if it comes from their button mashing skills. *cough* Lily, Eddie, Christie, Hwoarang, Baek *cough.* But the deal is actually the learning curve, like everybody else mentions. Here's my story: Back in high school, the boys would borrow PSP's, including mine for around 2 hours a day to practice. During story mode, after a couple of retries in easy mode, they can already defeat Jinpachi. In a week they can already execute pretty aerial combos and play at an acceptable level. The only one who got interested in my GG borrowed my PSP everyday too. Took him a week before he could finally defeat Boss I-No in beginner mode, plus the bonus that I actually taught him how to dodge megalomania. In my brother's case, when I introduced GG to him he chose Potemkin. Pot because "I could deal big damage with one timed hit!" When he couldn't "spam" anymore, he got tired of it. Also, I myself has remained a scrub, never even learning RC's and FRC's. Reason: I have no playmate for competition
  3. Out of girly inspiration I draw Diz-the Maiden of the Grove: From here: http://danceljoy.deviantart.com/art/Guilty-Gear-2-Dizzy-141840606
  4. Suffocating inside a closet full of bishies? Not a bad idea XD If you're bored or anything, I mean really bored, I'm online right now in yahoo. :3

  5. I actually keep on editing my first post all time everytime a new track is added to my favorites.
  6. Then what do you call a PSP to PSP battle? I unlocked a Chipp one on the Network gallery before.
  7. network battles probably
  8. Guess I can give you an hour or two today/tonight. Sorry, because I have something to do tomorrow :(

  9. I'm basically online by this hour, and around 10 hours after, except during Saturdays and Sundays. :) if you want to have a fangirl chat I think I'll have the time for it.

  10. Happy Birthday :) Sorry, saw you at the bottom, can't help it.

  11. Any details on Solaria like personality and intelligence?
  12. My KyxDizzy pic, needs a lot of improvement: http://danceljoy.deviantart.com/art/KyxDizzy-Dance-with-me-140566136
  13. As a music appreciator, I can say that the orchestra music in GG2 fits the scenes and the fantasy themes. They set the mood and it did well. However, generally, when listened individually, they don't really stand out from other game/anime tracks and are boring. Only "Dignity," and "Brainwashing" are the good tracks on their own. "Silent Wrath" and "Metamorphosis" have the potential to be as good as "Dignity," but they remained short and more like interludes. "Right Mind" and "Friend" evokes certain emotions, best description: sad piano music. "Guess" and "Freezing Time" fits so well with the Maiden of the Grove-related scenes. But they should have made it as melodic as Nu-13's theme to make it more dramatic and memorable. *Phew... Did I just review GG2's music?*
  14. DotA is fun! And yeah, it's so much like GG2. The only differences are that you don't control your troops(creeps) in DotA, you level up and acquire skills, you assemble items, and you are permanently either melee or ranged in normal attacks. It's more complex than that actually, but it's definitely a point and click fast-paced strategy game. The good thing in GG2 is, they retained the fighting element(with the combos) along with the strategy.
  15. Simple: Guilty Gear is in 2D (Street Fighter is a well known franchise so it's given that it'll have a hype). Most younger/immature/casual gamers(based on observation)think that a 2D fighting game genre will only be upgraded only if it's made into 3D. "Everything will be better with 3D graphics..." I know a bunch of people who can't tolerate the graphics of Guilty Gear don't even give it a chance when I introduce it to them. Also, it's an anime-styled fighting game that hasn't even released an anime film/series/OVA.
  16. In fact, I practically met nobody who plays Overture here, but some wants to try it out. So I just tell them what I read from this thread and they surprised that "it has combos and (a fairly deep) strategy!?" Pretty much many of them are mislead by the horribly biased reviews. Heck, I never even played Dynasty Warriors and the way they compare it makes gamers feel that GG2 is a copy-cat game and gives you a feeling that you "should know DW first, scrub." Biased elitists they are. I really think that Overture is a good idea game-play wise(setting aside my bias for the story in campaign mode). Many fans are turned-off by the 2D-3D switch but you can see that Daisuke put a lot of effort in this game. Sadly, ArcSys has done too many mistakes on their part too. I really hope that they would use the money they earn from Blazblue to boost GG again. Though I have the fangirly jealousy of BB being too popular, I think that game's a life saver for the company. Any ideas to make the next version of GG2 more marketable and popular? (Given its not-so-good start)
  17. I don't play Overture, but I visit this thread everyday. Just for support.
  18. @Amadeous You lack lines on the butt part. And about the leg, practice will do. I find it hard to draw actions too. Since I also have a fanart, might as well post it here: Needs a lot of improvement I know. It was just supposed to be a doodle but I got carried away...
  19. Hmmmm Sol's survival? Blade posted it before HERE. Scroll further down and you'll see it. @Lou I think the "hope" of the world may not just be referring to a specific person. Or even if he does, the "hope of the world" cannot achieve his/her task alone, thus, Ky is crucial to That Man's ideal world.
  20. I'm sure she isn't the one who regrets it more I'll add that to my list of to do's this semestral break, hopefully I'll have time. Dizzy would be a piece of cake, Millia and Valentine would be a challenge. If you analyze in-depth all the hentai doujins of Dizzy, this basically sums it up.
  21. Just happened to me the second time
  22. Currently in progress... This thread is for posting the detailed story mode paths and the official translation of GGAC+. What's welcome: 1. Comments about the dialogues, but it would really help if it is strictly under the plot of GGAC. 2. Speculation on what story paths; BUT it should be TECHNICAL and not heavily opinionated So far here's the completed paths (EDITED COMPLETELY) May Johnny Ky- still needs confirmation about a certain condition- IK ABA. Dizzy I. Dizzy Dizzy's path is simple. You get ending 1 if you defeat May with less than 74 seconds left, if not, you get ending 2. P.S. I'm not exactly sure, but if you defeat Ky longer than the usual, Johnny would intervene. II. Ky Story's a pain. Too many branches. A. After defeating Faust, if you pick "OK," you'll escape to and fight Zappa, then I-No then Jam. 1.If you drink her tea, you'll be poisoned. 2.If you refuse, she'll juts get angry. B. If you pick "No, I'm going to handle this..." you'll battle with a Robo-Ky with, 25% less health. Then fight with Sol. C. Both of these will come down to Testament, you'll fight him without jump. 1.Instant Kill Dizzy- Justice would come next then fight Gold Sol with infinite tension. Inevitably it'll lead to Ending 1. 2.Defeat Dizzy normally- Johnny is next then if you choose “No, I'll handle this,” you'll fight Justice, but if you choose “OK” you'll fight ABA. If you IK ABA under Path 1, you'll get ending 1. III. Johnny's Path is simple. If you defeat Testament with lots of time remaining (at least 60 I think) you'll get Ending 1. Gold Robo-Ky and Gold Justice will be encountered. If you defeat Testament the other way, Robo-Ky will be normal, and instead of Justice, Gold Dizzy is the opponent. Then you'll cross paths with Ky's second one. Then Zappa and Justice will come next. IV. May Ending 1: You'll get this if you pick "Johnny, where could you have been?" then instant kill I-No. If not, you'll get Path 2 and you'll fight Gold I-No. Ending 2: If Instant Kill did not happen, you'll get Path 2 and you'll fight Gold I-No. Hopefully more details are coming soon... P.S Sorry for the late post. Internet's down here.
