Brian: What is the latest you would like me to show up? Because I need to pick up my check before I leave so I have money for the trip. -

Brian: Can I still catch a ride with you? If yes, when would you like me to show up, also, I'd need your address. If no: Dan: Can I catch a ride with you? The same questions apply for you. -

Don't trust Mehraj with CDs. -
I hate the idea of no 0.5 changes. It does matter, and if it didn't, there wouldn't even be that option. I think those numbers, for Mu at least, are relatively inaccurate. But who am I? I'm not on the east coast. =/

Don't remove me yet. I'm not sure if I'm driving there myself, yet. -
Seems the oki is used to condition them to tech a certain way. Also, just watched Pulsr's oki and setups video and noticed a problem after hours of practicing his 2D j.2C 6D oki setups: 2D j.2C 6D for back roll MUST hit as soon as the opponent hits the ground. Forward roll is more lenient, and, in fact if you want to punish them both more easily, jump as soon as you 2D, get to about her stein height and j.2C 6D airdash. If they forward roll, hit confirm with j.A j.C j.2C land 2B 5C 6C 214D backdash 6C 2D j.2C rinse and repeat. This works on everyone (barring testing) except for Carl. You must be lower for the j.A to hit carl. The forward tech punish also works as a back tech punish, except you don't actually punish with a combo. You just force a quick High-low game, and if they get hit by the initial j.C, you get a nice fatty combo into a reset. This setup is VERY hard to use to punish quick get ups. To punish those, you can do 2D j.2C (must be higher) 6D ad.A j.C land 9 j.A j.C j.2C land 2B 5C 6C 214D. This can be very hard to do because if you mistime any of the attacks, they'll be too high for the spike. This is especially noticeable on Bang. EDIT: If someone can gather together all of the setups listed in this thread, I can organize them and put them in the original post. I'm far too busy myself to do this, but I'll do my best to also invent new and intriguing setups using Pulsr's setups as a motivator. Those setups are very intuitive, and I'd like to find more that cover a broader range of options and mixups. EDIT EDIT: 2D j.2C 6D IAD j.A j.C j.2C also works on no tech and quick get up. Here are the combos. Quick get up: 2D j.2C 6D ad.A j.C j.2C land dash 2B 5C 6C 214D j.2C dash 2B 6A j.C j.2C >>>> 2200 into 3300 reset for 5500 setup damage. No tech: 2D j.2C 6D ad.A j.C j.2C land dash 2B 6A j.C j.2C >>>> about 3300 damage Forward roll: 2D j.2C 6D ad.A j.C j.2C land dash 2B 5C 6C delay 214D backdash 6C etc... Back roll: 2D j.2C 6D ad.C land dash 2B 3C xxxx 214D Neutral tech: 2D j.2C 6D ad.C/ad.C whiff land 2B xxxx combo. Fun! EDIT EDIT EDIT: Found out that this setup is character specific. Here goes: Tager/Hakumen/Ragna/Bang - Easy to do. Need to be about halfway between the ground and the 2D stein, and you must delay the j.6D after the j.2C or else when you do ad.A j.C j.2C, the j.2C won't spike because they will get hit by the j.6D laser. Litchi/Hazama etc... - Relatively difficult. Timing is pretty specific and Hazama needs to be spaced perfectly for a proper follow up. I would like to post a video with this setup, but I have 0 recording devices. Can anyone help out? Also, you guys should really post, that way I can update with more information without having to edit or double post. >:3

I might be driving there with my boyfriend, actually. We have 3 spaces in the car and we'll be heading up to Phoenix so if those Tucson guys would like a ride, have them contact me, and if there's room, we can probably grab you, Dan. -

Get the PSP! It handles like a playstation controller. Also, Dissidia. I need people to play against. -
I think her back dash is as good as Lambda's. Also, the C parser back dash is tricky. Just make sure you buffer the backdash so it activates when the attack would have hit you. And yeah. DP beats it out clean as well. xD
-
That, and if she does A parser and you don't react fast enough, you run the risk of getting thrown or mixed up. It's not very strong, but that possibility is there and backdash is a sure fire way to be safe if you time it correctly.
-
It depends on the spacing and the timing. It's like backdashing certain attacks. If you time it right, you get a free CH if she did C parser to bait a jump out which will lead to stupid damage.

Satsuki's EX Handjob was an aerial command grab that was air unblockable, had a huge hit box, and the startup was extremely fast. The attack itself used 1/3rd of her meter, but it gave her really stupid oki and damage for her loop. As for an attack command grab think of it like this. Say the attack is an overhead. But, consider it is a throw. If they block the overhead, the throw doesn't go through, and so forth. If they gave him High-low throw mixup as well as his other mixup it would strengthen his pressure, because the threat of getting thrown during blockstun is now present. The attack shouldn't be overly telegraphed and it shouldn't be too slow (Imagine Mu's 6B, but slightly faster), which leads to decent damage upon hit, but is, say, +1 on block so he can't get poked and the threat of Overhead command throw or Low command throw > 360 is clearly present etc... It would be more fun and would make him a more interesting character to play. Might not help him much, but it's not like Arcsys is worried about balancing him. -

I think Tager needs Satsuki's EX Handjob. He also needs Luvia's High/low command grabs, except they should give him attack grabs, where it acts like a grab if it hits. Like, give him a 623C overhead command attack grab. Would be interesting if it weren't telegraphed to hell and if the startup were decent. -
I used to main Rachel, and we see where that took us. =/ Planning on playing Platinum anyways, so I'm kind of iffy on the Mu changes thus far.

For anyone who wants to grind long, silly combos, use Mu and practice her 6C FC combo. -
When you see the startup of 214D, super jump IAD out.
-
Nice avatar. But yeah. I personally love doing 5D 4D 214D for oki after 6C. It works really well and teaches Tager not to do anything. Also, I NEVER use my meter outside of DP unless I have 100%. That way on Tager's oki, his only safe option is to backdash. Gives her the best advantage ever, because her backdash beats most things. ^_^
