  1. You guys don't get it at all. :x Mu > Ragna
  2. I like how hardly anybody posted in the old thread. Though, in 2 weeks we have 16 pages of 20 posts per page. :x
  3. What a sell out. Gtfo. :x Ragna in CS2 and now Relius and Tager? ;| Speaking of which, I think I'll be an exclusive Mu main from now on. I'm going to stop playing other characters once BBCSEX comes out. My downfall was playing around with too many characters in CS2 due to boredom. Though, I'm really only worried about platinum and hazama so far. We'll see how that turns out once the game comes out.
  4. I already played a ton of noel mirrors to know. It's still not that much difference at all because it's about who mashes drive first. Respond with correct D mashing.
  5. lol It's more about whether tager can even do well or not competitively. Not how many people play him. Only hyped for this. Noel players all play the same. Mash drive till it works. No difference.
  6. I'm sure the Tager players beg to differ. :>
  7. He won't be there unless it's Blazblue XX: Accent Core. :x They'll give him sledge break, sledge will have super armor, he'll have slidehead, heat knuckle and good spacing tools for once!
  8. Who cares...everybody says Tager is S tier at the beginning. Most likely his tier will drop later. Happened in like every version of BB. lols
  9. You have to learn it on your own. It comes with time. You can't practice this in training mode. The only thing training mode will help with this is learning the spacing of your moves. Other than that, it's all in playing other people.
  10. CryingVoid: You're also missing a point from my post. fireball/srk is also a tactic. And you need basic play in order to even do well with Mu. Without it, you're done. I'm not saying you shouldn't aim higher but starting off that isn't the most important thing. That's just something you can practice on the side. If you face a strong opponent, without strong basics you won't get a chance to mash oki/setups. This situation has already happened to me. But what I'm getting at is, setups are meaningless if you don't even have a chance to land them. But yea, you're right that it is the first step to mastering Mu. Advanced character knowledge I'd agree with you on the setups but the advanced stuff for any character and any game you play still comes down to basics. It comes down to tactics, adapting on the go, noticing on your opponent's habits and capitalizing on them, decision-making, and overall anticipating what your opponent will do next. Even if what you said was true, I'll admit in that stream (I think that's H.H) he did make some bad decisions but overall I think he's great. There aren't even that many people on Dustloop that has the level of basics that he has if any. Which means, work on your basics. bakahyl: That's the right mindset. And it will take a long time to master basics. I mean just practice setups and gimmicks on the side because that could be really useful if your opponent doesn't know it and/or doesn't have that much Mu experience. That 2c thing might depend on when you hit the button. If you do it too late, you might get hit. I'd rather just bait it out.

  12. Her strong side rewards good basics. I dunno what you're talking about. It's like saying, playing the basic fireball/srk game with ryu in sf4 is bad and you need to do more setups and tricks. There's nothing wrong with playing basic and fundamentally solid. This statement applies for almost every Mu I've seen out there. I'd like to see more tactics involved instead of rush in, hit the other person, get KD and start mashing oki. Example is Carl has to get in on Mu to really do any damage because Nirvana only lasts for so long. Which means you can just zone Carl out all day and he can't really do anything about it.
  13. You sure? She said she wanted me. Therefore, she's mine. ;>
  14. Wow....this is so dumb....That's enough about c0r and being girls. ........Stay sad guys.
  15. mmm......I think I have to switch color palettes now. faggots. :x Gotta love them sausage fests. :x Well....have fun with your training!
  16. Way to fail. :x
  17. More like, know your opponent's weakness and aim for that. Learn the different scenarios you get put into and respond accordingly. But yea, there is no right way to play Mu. It just depends on the match up.
  18. It looks like I can't come to this for sure. Family business came up. Sorry guys.
  19. Won't be at GC today. Thinking about going either tomorrow or friday. More details later.
  20. I'll be there tomorrow night if anybody is up for games.
  21. Full pic of my avatar.
  22. Yea...at least if you rush lambda down, you have to be patient. But once you get in, it's hard for lambda to get out. You just have to watch out for like wake up calamity sword. Beaver is very fond of that and doing that in your pressure. Like even zoners have to be patient. If the person rushing at me just blocked everything I threw, I'd get impatient because it's a matter of time before they corner me. And then once you're in the corner, you're kind of forced to do something otherwise you lose. But yea...be patient. As an idea to help you get better, you don't have to play this match up but if you were to play Tager vs any zoner, how would you win as Tager?
  23. Oh yeah c0r, when will my stick art be finished? :< I have all my new buttons and balltop. I need my arcade stick art power up.
  24. Against lambda's, I generally rushdown and get close. Pretty much play Mu like a rushdown character. hah. I found best way to approach is just run jump barrier. Then just look for the air throw. Any time you're not within range of like 2b or 5c just block. To me, that's time for you to IB anything lambda does and build meter. I should try fishing for 6c to see how well that goes.
  25. That will be never. It's too hard to get all the match up experience you need. Too many characters not enough players in the local scene.
