  1. Discuss the match up here. The Good: - 236a helps to nullify Hazama's chains - DP beats his mixup options. Or you can just block low since his stance overhead doesn't do much damage. The Bad: - Hazama's chains got faster so Mu has to make sure she doesn't get CH'd by it when using 236a.

The Good: - Steins can really restrict Valk's movement - Valk has no reversal options aside from super - Mu's DP beats a lot of Valk's rushdown options when he is in on you. The Bad: - Valk has really good mobility so it could be risky to AA him - Really can't let Valk mix you up. In other words, make him respect you. - Valk's 2C does a LOT of damage even if you trade with it. It trades in his favor so if you are going to jump in on him, expect a 2C.
  3. Discuss the match up here. The Good: - Mu can zone out Jin fairly well. - Mu's DP is reliable in getting out of Jin pressure. Just be careful if they bait it. The Bad: - Jin's j.b may beat out Mu's AA's if he's in range - Jin has a lot of options after 5b for mix up - Jin can shut down your zoning once he has 50 meter with Touga Hyojin (632146c)

  11. Discuss the match up here. The Good: - 2c beats Makoto's j.2c and gives you a free CH The Bad: - Makoto's charge orb can fatal you if you aren't careful when you zone. Unsure on damage she can get off of it.
  12. Discuss the match up here. The Good: - Carl has a hard time getting in on Mu so you can pretty much run away and zone - Mu can get out of Carl's hard-to-blockable with DP RC. So you need 50 meter and a well-timed DP. - Mu beats Carl's roll really easily by 2B. - Mu can badly hurt Nirvana from a safe position, so take advantage of SoD's range and 214d's damage. - Command laser will pass through Nirvana and still be active, making her less of a problem then she is for every other zoner. - During the last few hits of rhapsody of memories, Mu can IB DP inbetween the hits from nirvana to get carl off of mu. If it's the first few hits, Mu can IB DP RC and still be able to block everything else. - A well timed 2b should be able to catch Carl's backdash and you can go into a combo, if he does it on his wake up. The Bad: - Once Carl gets in, he can perform the hard-to-blockable on Mu. - Mu has to watch for the times when Carl superjumps because if you try to AA, there is a good chance you'll miss so this kind of forces air to air situations. - Don't let Carl trap you in the corner with the doll because then Carl can just do clap and try to keep you airborne to waste your barrier and take off primers. - You have to keep an eye on Nirvana's life because if Nirvana is about to perform a move before she stops working, Mu cannot interrupt Nirvana by hitting Carl.

  18. Sure thing! Lastly, does anybody know how to edit videos? I could probably do it granted not a very good job lollll. So yea...please let me know. I don't know who will be doing the editing as of yet but I want to see if anybody is interested in that.

  20. Regarding the video tutorial, if the PSN store gets up again sometime on or before the 12th, I can record footage for the video tutorial. Considering best case scenario, I'm hoping to release it some time between the 16th and 20th of this month. If not, we'll work something else out.

  23. Pulsr was never the Mu mod. He's the mod of the May forums I believe. Most likely that's not happening. From what I heard, he's switching to another character. But then again he plays like a ton of characters but tbh, I don't think so. Yea. Mainly, my guide was just the basic stuff. Description of each move and it's special properties if any, setups/oki, frame data, basic combos and general tactics. To be honest, my guide is for everybody. I had written with the assumption that the reader knows notation, fairly new to the game, and wants to pick up Mu. Don't worry, I'll have something for you to do in the future.
  24. Sure? Or just look at it from multiple perspectives? Just because I play one way doesn't mean I can't look at something from another perspective. Either way, I'll have the next guide proofread by somebody.
  25. "what I should be doing in x situation" is mostly match up based. There is no one answer. "why this move should be used" kind of listed in description of each move but I'm pretty sure one can figure out after a little experimentation. one can say "you should know how to play already derp" you just play the game. There's no one style of play. The idea is to develop your own style by experimentation. I'm not here to tell you exactly how you should play. I can give you ideas by the way I play but there are multiple ways to play a character.
