  1. Anybody interested in gamecenter tomorrow (Thursday)? Get together and play games. Probably going to mostly play kof13. I'll play BB and GG if there are people there for it. And I can carpool with people depending on location.
  2. Isn't this more for the critique and self-improvement thread and organize it there if you want I guess? I don't know how you're going to do like a before and after kind of thing since before and after could be like any time as long as the player still plays the game. May be categorize it by level of play? But then that'd be kind of subjective though. But imo, that's the best way to organize something like that. And even saying something low/mid/high is still a very broad thing since there is respective to one's scene or another person's scene. But like I said, I think if it's for improvement, it should be in the critique and self-improvement thread. Otherwise, there was kind of no use for that thread in the first place. And tbh, nobody likes using it I guess. lolol tl;dr: I think this belongs more in the critique and self-improvement thread than here.
  3. Myung usually wants to be done with everything by 1 AM. He can go to 2 AM if needed but he prefers not to. I also asked about pre-reg earlier but nobody responded and nobody has done anything.
  4. Explain these to me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoEn_feiFg8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DsQT2tYSdk SRK had laws? lololol
  5. More like the Blazblue is an anime game. The fact that people don't know:
  6. I'll get hype when he actually starts playing and taking it seriously. I've had gotten hype like this before and the hype died because the sf player didn't play BB seriously. We'll see.
  7. Oh right, what am I saying? Americans don't know how to block. Sorry, I just came from Japan. I'm not used to your American ways.
  8. Answer to all of those questions is, it depends on the match up. Consider your opponents options and your options. What character does your opponent play? What type of style do they play? What are their habits? Like I said, it really depends on the match up. For example, against hazama the people I play with like to use wake up jayoku or wake up something. So that forces me to play safe and play more of a neutral game against my opponents. I can't tell you how to play her because it will end up hurting you in the end imo. Everyone has their own way of playing the character and you just have to develop that style. --------------------------------------------------- And Mu's DP is still really good for what it is...I don't blame arc sys for not giving it more range. Also, whenever you're "pinned", why don't you just try to block instead of always using your dead angle or DPing? It actually forces you to actually block and get better on defense. Then strike when you see an opening or reset the situation by teching a throw.
  9. There's always next year! :D
  10. Maybe set up some sort of preregistration? If the brackets are going to get big, I think it'd be better going in having some sort of bracket already filled out than nothing.
  11. http://www.option-select.com/strategy/article/?a=12#fuzzyguard
  12. Any venue confirmed? Etrium?
  13. It's already stickied with how many people already posting in this thread and how often people post in it.
  14. It's ok! No one learns anything from me. :D I don't really have many recordings of my Mu. I do have 1 of me vs Coopa but uhh....it's been a while now. I think the footage was from about a month and a half ago and my play has changed a bit and I don't know how to use Adobe Premiere. Oh well! I just go around and tell people my suggestions. ;>
  15. No. Dabbit was telling me there was one mu in his pool at evo. I don't think Zeromus entered the main tourney. But if he did, probably was him.
  16. I heard there was another Mu, but I don't know who it was. So I believe there were 2 Mus in the whole tournament.
  17. I was hoping for him to get past the pool and do better. He lost to MikeZ. I watched him play against Norcal Tagers, and I felt he got too aggressive and he didn't fight for his ground enough. Oh well.....Next year! :D
  18. In other news, I hear C0R didn't make it out of pools. So sad... :< Hellfromabove in winners and IkeTakeda in losers from pool 5.
  19. Mu could have Dr. Doom's rocks move in marvel! Call steins to her location and have it spread out in front of her. ;>
  20. I know. ;| I just got the best idea. What if Mu had soul satellite super OR strider's UMVC3 level 3 super (that super in mvc2 where strider's orb's created projectiles all in front of him)? lmao Soul Satellite/strider's super... Have like the 0f start up of soul satellite and have the steins shoot out lasers in front of Mu constantly! lolol :>
  21. pochp: Yes. At that point, just play the player. And yea, gold burst is a good answer to unblockable 22d setups. If it's a spaced unblockable 22d, you have the option of backdashing as well except in the corner obviously. Lastly, if the Tsubaki doesn't go for a 22d unblockable, the situation is reset to neutral with the pushback that is created imo. I know this is pretty general for a match up thread but I feel I have to say this in this thread: Pretty much we don't want to list out every possible situation and tell you the answer. There's just too many situations to account for. I just state things that are practical and things that should be done given reaction, reads, and different general situations (risk vs. reward). I feel as long as people have a general strategy, they should be able to perform well in a particular match up. Stuff that should be listed are options that should be practical.
  22. Only way to make mu DP whiff is to hold the 22d charge, hope mu DPs early, and perform tsubaki 6a at max range! Which doesn't seem like it'd be wise to do a 22d unblockable after 6a. Please give people advice they can actually use that's practical. I'm not kidding on this either. I was NEVER looking to punish tsubaki's 214 series. Sure it'd be nice if I could punish it but if I didn't IB and I just blocked it, momentum is with me again. If you look at the frame data she's -5 on block. I get to pressure tsubaki unless you DP but that's besides the point. If you throw out any other move besides DP if I blocked the 214 series on the ground, tsubaki will get CH'd.
  23. She actually doesn't need any new tools. lol. She's a zoner so you let people go to you unless you knocked them down. Besides, why are you still using j.c as a jump in? j.b is better for that purpose. She has all the tools to keep pretty much every character out. I wouldn't mind having better normals for a little less damage though. ;>
  24. Shout outs to me playing a game I hardly play last night. Lol Shining Aquas saying I play the game......*cough* GG *cough* I just play one of the "easiest?" characters in the game. lol. Correct me if I'm wrong but I do feel Ky is pretty simple. It's ok Sam, just play noel. You'll do just fine. ;>
  25. I feel pretty upset I couldn't make it to evo this year. I dunno my personal business always ends up around evo season. That and money issues. Ugh....it's so depressing....And I've actually been practicing quite a bit too. meh.... ;|
