I noticed when I canceled 236C with 214D against his distortion reversal, Tsubaki recovered without being countered. Not sure if it's applied the same way as this, and haven't tested it by itself or with other 214's but will test it out as soon as I get a PS3 >< Also, as a side not Hakumen can void bursts, so random gold bursts against him might to be fruitful either.

4D in itself gives me enough trouble when they're zoning from full screen. I literally have to press D, block, press D again, then block. They also have that circular blade that comes our of the ground that stops any type of charging. What's the CD on Gravity Seed?

I found that double jumping towards lambda's is usually the best approach, but I would still watch out for her ram move that hits people out of the air (I believe it's 236C?). I've also noticed that smart Lambda's will use gravity seed before abusing Spike Chaser (which renders 214D useless). Match up doesn't feel even to me at all, it's mostly a guessing game with 236C and j.214C and getting in, except Lambda controls 95% of the screen. Bleh.

I mean for Mu's that use SoD during blockstrings and decide to delay it. I've conditioned myself to go right into 214D anytime a Mu tries to delay it even for a second, and it beats it clean, no matter how long they hold it. But honestly, 214D really shines against AoH, if you have stock most Mu's will use AoH to keep anyone from coming in. Even if they opt out for 5C, 214D's inv will beat it out.

214D > Arrows of Heaven. 214D > Sword of Decimation. 214D > 5C. Basically, 214D is amazing and should be abused for ground pressure, and used as a follow up for 236C and 236D for some extra cross up craziness. Be careful with abusing 236 to get in when there's steins, as Mu can use the explosion to stop you and get a free CH combo. Like previously stated, it's not advised to fight Mu air to air as j.C basically owns all of your options, including the j.214 series.

I play a Makoto regularly, and in CS1 Tsubaki's 2A ALWAYS whiffed on 3C. Will have to try it out now though, hopefully it doesn't as 3C gives me a lot of problems in this match up.

I wouldn't recommend doing 623X on furry tail on wake up since Makoto will completely destroy it if she's completely above you. Also, I'm not sure if it changed in CS2, but Tsubaki's crouching jab used to go OVER her 3C and would completely whiff. I would also watch out for Makoto's DD where she does a huge punch during j.214, as I've seen a lot of Makoto's bait with it. Makoto's will also astral vision above you or behind you mid string when they notice you've been using barrier a lot. Gonna go out on a limb and say this is probably one of the worst if the not the worst match up for Tsu.
