Thread for discussing anything pertinent to Bullet that doesn't explicitly belong in another thread. Gameplay discussion is meant to be the primary focus, story discussion for the most part should be directed towards Zepp Museum. This is also not the "My Bullet Wishlist thread", try to keep on topic and use your own discretion when posting. Above all have fun and discuss the character that you like enough to use (Apparently). Everything that you need to know probably exists, or will exist, at some point on the Bullet Dustloop Wiki - use it, love it. What belongs here - Title says it all, discuss Bullet in a general manner. If you need help executing combos, understanding how Bullet plays, or other techniques, this is the place to ask for that. Arcade release is 11/21 reportedly. Following the porting trend of CT and CS that means a console release is likely anywhere from June to July. -

It's likely that she won't be in the game initially, she'll probably be patched in later after they're tested her like Mu and Nu who are also reportedly not going to be in the initial release from my understanding. -

After Makoto and Platinum do you really think they're trying to get anyone to take this game seriously from a character design perspective anymore? After Makoto was announced back in the day, everyone was initially so hyped about her being in the game, then there was the backlash about how 'whorey' she dressed and etc. Bullet is just as oversexed as she was, maybe more so, but does it really matter that much? I doubt people looking into the game are going to home in on the win pose where she strips or the loss pose (To an Astral no less) of a single character when deciding if they'll buy it or not. If anything it will just be something for casters to joke about. -
He still has a few appendages to lose at this point.

Are there any options Labrys has that shuts down both rolling and DPing off of sweep/guillotine enders? Stuff like sweep -> jump over late j.B beats most DPs but it doesn't seem to catch rolls, unless I'm just waiting too long or need to airturn.

I only burn axe meter for the kill. Otherwise the damage (and fear) you get from red axe is generally more appealing.

Your 2B beats Lab's j.B clean unless you're horribly mistiming it or they're going for a deep crossup in which case just DP lol

You should be able to 2Cx5 in that combo.

I think to play as Labrys you need to have a really solid grasp of blocking...she doesn't have a "Press button to get out of pressure" card like other characters in this game sometimes have. If you watch the top Labrys players they all are very comfortable blocking and IBing until they have a chance to 2A/5A or jump out if the gap is big enough. You just have to be patient and not panic and eventually you'll be able to get out of most pressure strings. The worst thing you can do is start panic mashing DP or trying to jump out since then you'll just get combo'd and reset.

Don't expect to do much damage with Labrys unless you're in red axe or burning meter.

It depends on how close you are after the sweep I think. If you're close then you can just pick them up with 2A 5B, then the spike will hit them and you can go into whatever. If they're further when you sweep (Like the distance after 5A -> 5B -> Sweep) then you can go into 2B (Tsurugi hits) then 2B again into air combo. These options work at green axe, not sure about lower but assuredly they work higher. I doubt they're optimized in anyway but they're at least starters.

I'm also able to pull it off from Green unless it means you can only do it from half way in Green or something, don't know what their problem is. Also I disagree with using Moujuu to drain the axe gauge unless - A) You're about to lose a round and need it to just get to the next one (Do or die) B) You're using it to close the match Otherwise the benefits and combos you get from being in red axe far outweigh just randomly using the super for damage.

To anyone trying to do this combo just make sure you're not practicing with fixed axed levels, I was trying to do this combo with fixed green for 5 minutes while raging at UEG Squall for not understanding that B+D doesn't fatal except at red before I realized it builds enough axe gauge during the combo
