  5. Are you talking about combos where you knock them away, and then pull them in for more damage like collider(whiff),2B,2C,collider. I don't know of any true combos that are useful using that in CT. Its good for gimmicks mixups or being flashy I guess. Its a fairly big thing in CS though so if you like this style of comboing CS will be awesome.
  6. The large number of wrong combos was annoying me, either not going for the most damage or going for a high damage combo that doesn't work there. Also that was a lot of 5Ds I am surprised he didn't get his ass countered all day.
  7. Uhh do you mean by letting them tech in the air, such as when they are magnetized. Do shit->collider>Bsledge,5AAA,collider hold until they tech, reset. Its probably the most basic one though this is a gimmicky reset, so its not really a combo.
  8. This isn't true at all, I can play Keyboard/pad/stick all with good proficiency. I do have some problems going between them for certain things. I tend to press buttons 1 frame earlier on stick/keyboard, than I do on pad. My DPs on keyboard/stick are flawless while on Pad, I occasionally screw them up. 720 motions on a keyboard are a bitch etc..etc. As far as consistent comfortable grip, use whichever one you find the most comfortable for the first 15 minutes your playing. When I first used the wineglass grip(between ring and index) it was only comfortable for about 30minutes then it became very uncomfortable, but after a few weeks or so I really preferred it over the other grips. The grip kaiser posted is the one I see most people use around me I tried it a bit too its quite good, and comfortable.

  10. So you can('t) punish it cool I don't care, against most of the cast you made your spacing worse though, and gave the other character some time to set something up. Basically what benefits do you gain if they just you know...block.
  11. Ahh I only saw them going over 3k when he RCed I wasn't looking at how much meter he got . I agree Tager 2A seems even better in this match hell all matches than before.
  12. So far its been beating out most meaty shit our ragna has thrown the few times I used it, so maybe the throw is calculated before the any hits are *hopeful. But for AA against ragna im still relying mostly on 2A, and 2C. While Gadget isn't as good on ragna as it is against others Gadget RC,5D still puts on a hefty 7 seconds of magnetize and a good mixup. Plus ID combos only do like ~2k damage, which unless Im wrong was less than they did in CT.
  13. I find lambda alot easier to get in on than CT nu, heck if lambda didn't have that fucking reversal, that can goof us up once we get on top of you. I might even say the matchup would be even.

  15. Nothing really seems too off just I thought I heard litchi was above bang now, and im a little surprised at how low lambda/arakune are still. Tsubaki being as high as she is a little weird too I gotta watch some more vids to see what the jp Tsubaki players have figured out. So if that is based of the JBBS tier list Ill go by it, I'm sure they know alot better than some random American. It just seemed like this tier list was based off of the opinions of people in the thread I guess I was wrong.

  17. Great Reptar don't avoid characters because they are good, play the character you enjoy playing as the most.

  20. From having played this match a little I can say that Ice benz to ice caps N glaciers still make tager look like a bitch ass bitch. Serious: Jins new j.C takes some getting used to in this match its kinda like a mini haku 4C, in the air.

As a person who currently has to borrow shit all the time...seriously we don't mind, just say no normally there are like a 5-6 other people who will let us borrow their stick...and beggers can't be choosers. Also if you play a 720 character, learn how to do the motion without making sound, your opponent will catch on quickly. Also dittos on the don't say what your going to do before you do it. Sure when your doing a combo. But yeah most important thing is to just go you will learn stuff and hopefully you have fun, don't worry about "being in practice" or "ready" just go.
  22. You mentioned that was online, jesus christ I never want to play a good carl online those mixups are bad enough offline...online . Its alot better in CS now that j.2C isn't an overhead, but it feels like he got a bit safer. Plus nirvana stops sledge dead in its tracks now.
  23. Off a CH j.D yes I do, I really don't hit 6As much else. Alot of times though I just don't use my spark bolt go to 6A,2C,collider, shit to put you in a good position. But its character dependent of course. RCs are normally a much better use of meter, for example CH 6A>j.2C(RC)>j.2C>2B>2C>623>236B>41236D>2C>623C just posted in the other thread will do like 6.8k. Omit the last 236B with a standard follow up it still does like 6.3k or something, and you still have your spark volt to make them think twice about many things.

  25. Jab 720 isn't too bad after practice, normally I do HCB A,then finish the 720 C...it works fairly well.
