  3. Hey guys, got a problem. All the links that I posted in the various guides have all died because the threads got deleted. If the person who made the chart ( I forgot who) that described the various difficulties of hitting a character with OTG Summons, Raohs 6HS loop, etc. please post it here. I will make a link straight to that post. Thank you.

  5. Raoh has two mixups: 5D or throw. Other than the throw, you should never be hit by Raoh period. Learn to block and hope the chip damage doesn't kill you. =/

  12. Hey I say: Instant block, then 6HS him in the face. Sure he can block it, but thats the longs poke you've got.
  13. Actually Zappa vs Dizzy more 50-50ish because both of them can lock each other down so well. Dizzy has get rushdown in general but Zappa does well with lock down because of his summons along with Dizzy's long start up time for most of her specials. And yeah Potemkin does suck. But this belongs in the matchup thread. The ghosts in the end are the only good summon against Axl period. Every other summon sucks unless you can make it inside. Roah gets shut down, the sword gets shutdown, and Axl's multiple hit crap makes the dogs hit absorbtion useless. =/ They are of course decent if you can get inside.
  14. Depends. Some of the techniques I saw I'm already doing but I know I'm missing plenty. Lets see: When he summons he always seems to press D or 8D just incase he gets the dog to counter attack the opponent's retaliation (Phrek has mentioned this strategy as well). After a successful 236P juggle, if the opponent is still in the air he use 5P to continue the juggle as well as confirm which summon he has in order to continue the combo. If the opponent is haunted by the ghosts he'll incorporate the golf balls in his corner pressure or combos. Is he using the time summon thing as well? Also by chance does he know the secret of getting what summon he wants on wake up or something because in the very first round of the very first match against that Axl player he does a wakeup uppercut with the sword as if he knew he was going to get it. =/ I know theres plenty more. Is he going to tell us? =) Oh by the way KEN is back at Gamechariot. I'm gonna go check out his vids right now!!!!!

  16. If may is on top of you don't even think about attacking unless you're instant blocking. Just be patient, she can't stay on top of you forever. But for the most part it is your job to prevent her from getting near you in the first place. Remember jHS owns all (unless she's close to you then you'll eat a CH jHS from her for free). And items items items items. I know this is limited info but I'm serious. May has too much priority against Faust upclose. Especially air to air. However Faust's 6P if done early enough can beat out an airborne May. Keep that in mind as well.
  17. well it was never really unblockable to begin with. I think even in Isuka you could block in the air if you FD'd like in Slash.
  18. This guys attacks straight kamikaze style and always comes out on top. All of the matches rarely went over 2 minutes!!! O.O
  19. I've seen quite a few and I can only recall one or two of them, being a non-ken combo Either way the combos either involve instant air-dashing or using the 2HS loop on crouching opponents.
  20. 6HS only knocksdown on counterhit in the corner. Otherwise the wall bounces keeps the opponent in air too long so they'll be able to tech before they hit the ground. Midscreen 6HS still knocksdown.
  21. Yeah. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQaFvZ2VOQA (21 hit combo) I use that setup a lot. Both corner and midscreen. I had to change how I ended the combo, however, since Zappa lost his 6HS knockdown capabilities in the corner. -_-

  24. I spell Raoh differently from whats in the my sig. Regardless, Raoh is strictly intimidation and baiting. He has good pokes, good chip and damage of course, and thats about it. That fact that Raoh has a crappy mix up game is what prevents him from being broken... in a sense. Yeah Raoh does big damage but actually hitting the opponent is the tricky part. To properly use Raoh against a defensive opponent, is simply to poke and hit confirm. That's all you got. Throw out a 5D every now to catch them off guard. Another mix up is a jump-in j.S - jHS. The opponent will block the jS but may crouch afterwards and can get hit by the jHS. In previous versions I just simply used jHS canceling into itself for that mix-up (the fact that they took that out made me hate Raoh for a good while in AC despite how much better he was overall. ;_; But I was just being lame). Offensive opponents are more tricky. You cant get cocky and think that Last Edgy will save the day if they have you in a block string. depending on the character their block strings and mixups are tight, as well as uppercut bait-able. Some times you're gonna have to be calm and play defensive with Raoh (I know it hurts). And like I've said before, if you're on the other side of the screen away from an opponent. Unless you know they suck don't go flailing across the screen at them because you have Raoh. Some characters like HOS has a force break with your name written all over for it for you to go running into. Poking and sending out Darkness anthems is sometimes all you can do.
