  1. I see alot of lambdas trying the 214A>5C>6C>236C missing the 236C alot. Is there any special timing for it?
  2. Err, spike chaser hits IAD. You know that right? Also, 2DD seems to push them far enough, though if you want to be safe you could j. DD> j. 214DC or 2147DC I guess? I'm not saying to just use one zoning tool of course. Mix it up! Yeesh. We still have 5D, 4D and ground saw.
  3. Which is why I'm saying it's riskier, and why I didn't say to use it as your main zoning tool. Needs good spacing, but honestly, it's one of her better tool I feel. If they jump you could push them back with 2D most of the time or 6D depending on the spacing, or if the super jump dash or double jumpdash whatever you could just dash forwards depending on the situation.
  4. What? Also, really, it has much better returns than j. 2D, though riskier. If they block it they break a primer and you could continue pressuring, if they jump over it you can pressure using 2D or 6D most of the time, and if they get hit by it you can combo for decent damage. Meanwhile for j. 2D you can j.2DD > j. 214DC on block or ... j. 2DD > j. 214D on hit? Yeah. Plus it's not as if 5DD is useless.
  5. More 214D than anything else from what it looks like. 5D still gets used.
  6. http://d.hatena.ne.jp/video/niconico/sm9124665 Looking at the kaqn vid I'm going to say lambda would't have too much trouble breaking 4K too.
  7. Tager doesn't have giganter, so no unblockable bullshit from him. ^_^
  8. Nah. 56%.
  9. No, I'm pretty sure it can be blocked, but only with barrier. Haven't really seen any Lambs try it after 214D. Mostly just 2D.
  10. Do you know how punishable is grav well on block? Same as CT or has it changed?
  11. At 3:27 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLntNXgkFgU Looks like we can replace 6C with zwei C? Looks good.
  12. Well, yeah, it's not really a major part of the game plan. The moves used to guardbreak are already pretty useful without the ability to guard break.
  13. Guard breaking gives you a free combo. What else do you want? And for 236 D being useless, it's a low move which is positive on guard, so yeah, definitely useful. Seems situational to land though.
  14. As with everything else, stop assuming and wait for the players to settle down. Right now it seems that lambda players still aren't sure about how to approuch hazama properly, and hazama players are still probably trying to find more possibilities with their character, though they already have a pretty solid gameplan with him. From what I recall when CT first came out there were also quite a few timeouts. Most of the older matchups and characters that aren't really changed much from CT don't really have many timeouts in their matches, but that's because they're already pretty familiar with it. Meanwhile, lambda and hazama are practically new characters. Give it some time. Also, the system promotes turtles? Seriously? The top tier are pretty much all rush down characters now.
  15. The problem of timeouts is with the matchup I think. Hazama has the same problem as taokaka, basically he looks hard as fuck to catch. Not to mention the chains makes it fairly safe for him and make it so lambda has to be careful. Plus they both have fairly low damage outputs.
  16. He could have extended the combo, I dunno. he got the KO shortly after the rapid. 3.8K for 50% seems pretty good though. Especially seeing that meter gain seems faster and Lambda/Nu always have had pretty rapid meter gain. Sorta filling the CT bang niche I guess. Low but (hopefully) constant damage and pressure, only more zoning.
  17. Problem is from alot of the videos the lambda players seemed to be missing a hella lot of combos. I think her average damage will be somewhere around 2.2K- 2.8K. I've seen her break 3K with meter. Also, some pretty interesting things from the kaqn lambda matches. Throw>6B>5C>6C combos, and I think he repeated the corner 6A>2147D loop 3 times. Also, zwei C>5C>6C wall bounce to falling sword super does 3.8K, tack on a rapid and she broke 4K in damage.
  18. Well there's hakumen and arakune too I guess. And screw porkchops. Lambchops for life.
  19. All white is pimping though.
  20. Seriously? New colors are awesome.
  21. Really? She averages 3000 from decent combos from what i've seen. Not fantastic, but not bad. Haku averages around 3500-4000, so it's not too far away.
  22. I think someone gave blade as 0 on block and cavalier -4/5 on block. Not sure how accurate that is.
  23. She has a 623 motion move?
  24. Yeah, seems like people still aren't too used to lambda. Hopefully more higher level videos will turn up.
