  1. People on SRK says that it's pretty darn good. You know, if they can improve the netcode further for KoF2k2UM, I might just need to buy a 360.
  2. Oh yeah, well, agreed on that. The guard primer system in CS is honestly kinda dumb though. The only character I can think of which can play the guard primer game well is lambda. And maybe ragna. For other characters it's kinda irrelevant.
  3. Tager needs it though. If not he'll be guard broken all the time by us.
  4. If the other dude is looking out for it 236C is pretty easy to react poke out of. Especially if placed poorly or if you're being incredibly obvious about them. It's nice to fish it out once in awhile though. 214D gives alot more options.
  5. Jesus. When he messed up that corner 2147D combo against litchi my heart was in my mouth.
  6. Bang.
  7. You don't really use the wheel to zone anyway. Not even in CT really. Her drive does most of the zoning but they do it pretty damn well.
  8. Mostly his chains. But yeah, his normals have shit range. Seriously though, give lambda a try. She's pretty much the most zoning based character in CS that doesn't suck.
  9. http://www.famitsu.com/game/news/1233561_1124.html Arcsys going full on with the murakamo unit love. Also, Mu looks like justice only with less armour. Like the entire front.
  10. Wait, aren't you an arakune main skye? Thinking of picking up lambda?
  11. j. 2C is bad air to air and air to ground for me. I never use it outside of combos. Litchi, other than kara falling I don't think it's too bad. She's not nearly as mobile as him and staff shenanigans are easier to deal with than nail shenanigans.
  12. Tager vs lambda matchup is manageable? Seriously?
  13. Knock away is good for lambda though. It means that they're in a position where lambda's zoning excels at and puts them closer to the corner for the loop. Litchi I don't think it's that bad honestly. Damage output is a big problem from lambda but she's not as hard to keep away as bang, plus her pressure game isn't as good as bang's either. Hazama's chains can be a problem but his otherwise terribad mobility helps. I've also tried to see if I could punish chains and I think 6A could be used to punish them when they come flying at you whether it's blocked or not, though not on hit obviously. Can't really tell seeing that i haven't tested it too much. Just can't throw out random D's. j. C is actually a pretty good air to ground normal. It could be used as a crossup also. Her other normals/pokes aren't that bad either.
  14. You can't eat a 10K combo if they can't hit you. He's so gimmicky now. Eh.
  15. Bang's 5A isn't really the problem, it's his nails and 5B mostly. Plus the fact that lambda still dies to most pressure. Also, fuck arakune.
  16. I really don't think lambda needs much buffing honestly. She's at a pretty good place balance-wise now. She has all the tools necessary to deal with most matchups and her risk/reward ratio is going in the right direction, though I think her average damage could do with a little more damage. She might be B-tier but that would be pretty high B. Just nerf top tier and she'll be golden.
  17. Well, her matchup with him in CT were pretty even to begin with. Other than taokaka he's probably one of the easiest get in on her with, seeing that he has A and D nails. Plus his pressure game is good, something nu/lambda has trouble with. Nu is even because she can out damage him pretty easily, and her mobility was okay, plus 2C was pretty good at keeping him from just IADing pressure all the time. Now they gave him faster D's, while nerfing lambda's mobility and damage so that their damage output are pretty even now, and nerf 2C so it's not as easy deterring his air pressure game. It's just not easy for lambda at all to get out of his pressure game.
  18. Maybe when I get out of high school. You can really feel the crunch in year 12. Do CW still use CT or have they switch over to CS? I haven't played much fighting games at all nowadays. I'll get back into full swing once SSF4 and CS console comes out.
  19. Real men go blonde/pink lambda.
  20. Not trying to be disrepectful honestly, just that some points felt weird to me or just plain wrong. No need to feel bad or anything. It's good to get to know other characters better just to learn your match ups. Does carl have a small libra? Honestly though, I don't think I've ever guard broken someone at all, and also most of the Nu matches I've seen never had to rely on guard breaking. Especially not against carl anyway. Always command dashing and kara falling me. Fair enough. I haven't really had enough carl matches (though I got my ass handed too many times by feri) so I can't comment too much, though i can see how doing so especially against the doll would be useful to escape. I personally don't even pulsr that much. Unless you know the spacing well it'll either leave you getting nearer to the corner or up close to get punished. You mean 236C? That move is actually pretty easy to punish if used predictably. It's pretty telegraphed and easy to poke out of midway. Still a good move though, especially for combos. But yeah, it's not really a DP in the traditional sense. Her grav well is the DP now.
  21. First of all I'll have to say "what." at some of your points. First of all, Nu being able to easily guard break in CT? The only time I've seen Nu guard break at all is in that one tager vid where he spent like 30 seconds blocking D swords. People rush Nu down because she's a zoner. She can control them really well in long-mid range. She's actually pretty mediocre up close when it comes to dealing with pressure. Do the maths. Plus her DP, I'm assuming you're talking about grav well? Seeing that it's mostly used to break up blockstrings or just combo from 3C, you should practice RCing if you think she's going to use it. No lambda is going to use it on the offensive. Or dash in and use it. Also, Nu can't dash through an opponent's pressure willy nilly. The moves she can Act parser from are 2C, 6C, and D swords. While 2C is definitely fast, it's still 9-10 frames and unless the other guy is really shitty at pressuring it won't be fast enough. Against carl I can understand it being used pretty often, though corner/sandwich loops are still tough as hell to handle. But it's not something she can rely on. Plus we can IB>grav well now. I'll take that over an unreliable pulsr option. Plus her pulsrs in CS are awesome. And if they counterhitted you from fullscreen (with 5D I guess?) they should at least break 3000. I do agree that nu's damage potential was ridiculous though. Which is why I feel lambda is Nu done pretty well. Pretty happy with the way Arcsys handled her. I can tell.
  22. I'd say a character based entirely around one infinite is pretty bad design too.
  23. I pretty much think every lambda player should use this style. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm9658563
