Really? The last set of videos had a footage of her and hakumen in the finals of a tournament. Those are probably just one small representation of a few players. Not every match gets recorded.

I'm more impressed with the matchmaking. Now I can reliably find matches above 1 bar.

So, is the patch at least SF4 standard? I might pick this up for console then. If not, I'll just stick to arcades.

That's only on counterhit I think. Normal hit you'll have to rapid. Matches take a longass time is mostly because of his monster health and guard libra. edit: not to mention our reduced damage. Also, seems like no one has figured out any throw combos yet.

So, looking at the new vids. It seems like zwei B is safe on block against tager, and is it just be or does zwei C push him back just enough to be safe too? As long as you watch out for the 720 of course. Also, counterhit D to zwei C combo is delicious.

So, still best not to act parcer in front of tager? Gotcha. Depends how fast she recovers though. Might be fast enough that you can still back dash or jump away, though that could lead to a atomic/emerald buster/360 guessing game? At least good to fish for a predicted sledge? Hopefully. Still looking good for lamby in the matchup though. From the looks of things it seems now that we're mostly focusing on wearing his insane guard libra down and pressuring with 214D blockstrings and 236D.

Jesus Lambda is starting to look like a guard crush queen. Especially in the corner. Pressuring with blockstrings ending with 214D, 236D and C zwei is going to be sweet.

She looks really, really good. Zwei is as awesome as I've hoped, and gravity DP is sexy. And she has 5 guard crush points now, so, cool.

So far she doesn't sound like shit. Awesome. And yeah, 6C counter wouldn't matter much if we still can float with 2C. Though with it's slower speed I'm guessing it would be slightly harder to do.

Act parcer back just gets you quicker into corners anyway. :P The fact that new act parcers are command dashes and don't really need to be cancelled from a move should help too.

A has long recovery compared to old act parcer, but still shouldn't be too long. Maybe just a few frames. B is low, C is anti-air. And 2147D is still doable I think, just that you have to delay it more so that it's not instant.

Old act parcer was pretty punishable anyway. I'm hoping for a mix-up game in Zwei A>throw and zwei B/C. Would depend on recovery I guess.

If done late enough it'll correct the position of 360 I guess. Why do a 6A to start when they're grounded though? There's no real reason to use 6A except for anti-air and 2C is faster with more range. Act pulsr forward towards tager/anbody is a bad move already anyway. Unless you can do it so you don't land anywhere near them.

On ground 214D buffs makes it more useful to pressure and keep opponent out. New 236D should also make them more wary. I like the new 236D. Looks more useful than a slow and easily reactable spinning wheel that's slowly rolling forwards. 214D breaking primer could be used for primer break traps too. Plus the guard primer system looks useless right now seeing how fast it regenerates. (at least from the latest loke tests. From air there's still 6D, 2D, 6A and 2C, which while nerfed isn't done in a way that makes it useless from what it's intended to do. Meanwhile zwei C would make them wary in the air at far-middle range too. For escape opportunities I can see using zwei A as a way to run while they're jumping towards you. I dunno. Plus burst system is kinda a buff for her too. You only get 2 for a best of 2 match but at least doing so won't cause your stupidly low stamina to be even lower. Plus negative penalty only applies if you backdash too many times without trying to engage in the battle. It just forces you to not abuse it. tldr: new changes just forces us to up our defensive games, and we still have options not to get rushed to hell and back, or can at least find new ones. CS lambda looks sweet, and guard primer system isn't really going to factor in that much at the moment, looks stupid and looks pretty useless. imo. Only thing I don't like is the gravity bar system. Do we really need any more guages in this game? Plus it's not that abusable... If it's a way to respond to the people who kept asking for a sword bar though, then I approve.

Honestly though, she does have broken bullshit, but in a game with alot of it I don't think she's the worst. Not even as tager. She's pretty bad, but goddamnit if I had to fight arakune with tager. And unless your name is hakumen, arakune or tager I honestly don't think that you should complain about the matchup. It's pretty close to even for most of them. edit: edit for stupidity.

It's pretty dumb. Plus her ponytail and ponytail sword is fucking huge. Who needs kung fu when you have swords?

Nah, you can see her going for 2C straight after. Probably got 5A counterhit after that. I'm going guess that it's safe on block, just that you aren't going to get much options to continue on afterwards. Which is fine.

But then you factor in that a good nu has no reason to AP forward, can bait sled for punish, and can block off his jump ins pretty well. Just be patient, stay out of B sled range, punish, and you're golden. And sleds are the easiest things to bait in the world. 2C or even 6C and he eats a lovely counterhit wall bounce combo. And it's not exactly hard to melee tager as well. Alot more interesting anyway.

And I think that you can still cancel a move into it. This should make her pretty mobile. I just hopethat it's safe on block.
