  1. Updated the first post to the best of my knowledge. Also uploaded all of the new data I've been sent.
  2. All of my stuff is under my account: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=Gwyrgyn But I don't think there are any particularly good match vids under there right now.
  3. Guess you haven't watched me play then. 2K PB is indeed hard to see for a lot of reasons. Most importantly is that it is a very low level move and you can cancel the recovery either into PB or 2D.
  4. The first post has a list of who is doing what as best to my knowledge (although it's a few days out of date ATM). I uploaded Axl and Anji. POScrub, you missed two tags in the code ... for the name of each move, you need to encase it in a <b> </b>, and you need class="special" for the last <td> in each normal as well. I fixed it for Anji but if you could do it for Axl that would be helpful.
  5. Nobody is on Slayer is as far as I know.
  6. Yeah the problem with PB is that people REALLY don't want to get hit by it, and there are a lot of safe ways to escape the PB mixups as well. Pote tends to hit with other crap more often than PB ... but now in AC he actually can get good damage off his other random hits (including Slide Head).
  7. Nah just keep updating the file you were updating and stick it online once you are done. I'll upload it to Dloop from there. Edit: Oh it's already done. Okay well I took it and cleaned it up a little and am putting up what you have done. I changed a few layout things and fixed some spelling so you'll probably want to continue off mine if you need to make more changes.
  8. 6F, oh man that's quality. I guess he can at least still do BDC j.FD, that's still pretty good. RedBeard which things can't you figure out with Axl?
  9. Uploaded the first part of May. I think the tedious HTML work has messed up my tendons again.
  10. Okay so what I have up there now is reletively correct then. I wish I could think of a better way to write/organize those so they are less confusing. Maybe numbers ... something like ... Baku > 1 1 > Baku:Sakura > 2 2 > P Follow Up 2 > K Follow Up Hrm... any better ideas?
  11. Explain the Baku input for me... do you do 412+P+D and then follow up with any of P/K/S/H/D ? I also need to know the input for Return Jack, and if it uses Tension or not. I've gone ahead and change HS > H and G > C in the cancels. Baiken was missing a lot of C's too so I filled em in. Unfortunately, Poscrub's work is using a very old layout and used Word so it probably won't be useful to copy>paste from. Thanks for the translation though, I should be able to assemble the whole thing from there. Any update on Ky? Dizzy?
  12. Hitstop is the same thing as Hitpause, which is the pause effect that happens when someone is hit or blocks. That's important for a lot of reasons... it gives you extra input/buffer time, and for projectiles it makes them get much better frame advantage than physical hits. The 'G' is wrong, it should be 'C' for 'special cancel' (originally I thought it meant Gatling). I'll update the first post with Cola and Nehle's work. I think we'll switch to 'H' for heavy, as it is pretty much foolproof. I'll make those changes tomorrow. BTW, if anyone wants to do any of the 'translated but needs to be put into html' jobs just let me know. We have May and Dizzy to do.
  13. 1. PHS would never mean P+HS+S because S always comes before HS in a list. That would be written as PSH if they meant it like that. 2. It's pretty obvious it means 22 Heavy Slash as you stated it's impossble to do otherwise. Also same as #1, S always comes before H. 3. It wouldn't be written like that anyway. It would be written as j.214HS or HS.Pin in the case of just the pin, or j.HS S.Pin or j.HS 214S. You could be confusing with just 'H' in the same way, such as K S H DC, for Venom. 4+5. Same as #1, S always comes before HS. I am not disagreeing that 'H' is better than using 'HS', but people have been using 'HS' forever and there really isn't a problem with it. The only time there is a problem either way is when people are lazy when writing things out. I will certainly agree that 'HS' is easier to mess up with, but I don't see how that is a problem here.
  14. BTW I have a nice capture card on my machine now so I can probably grab shit from the movies/game with it. Maybe I'll finally be able to change my SA Avatar.
  15. The man plows through buildings with his head. I'm guessing it's more like the lightning bolt struck him in the pressure point that causes him to lose his memory.
  16. OKAY well, looks like I've got some work to do after taking a break for the weekend. :x Teyah - Yes, if you can get me the AC portraits cropped and named I'll put them up there. Quick note, the 'specials' table doesn't alternate colors between moves, the 'notes' row is always white and the rest of the info is the default color. Also I am not the author of your page, I meant for that tab to mean 'the guy who filled in the HTML'. Also, you can trim down some of your stuff ... 'on air: 236S' can just be j.236S for example. For 'H during Vapor Thrust', you can just do ' - HS' because it is following up the previous move (make sure to note that in the notes of the move). I'm noticing different people are writing things slightly differently. We'll have to eventually standardize all of this. - Should we 'list' notes for normals like Akira has done? It makes the cells longer, but more readable. - Should we have a specific order for notes, or simply go in the same order as they were in the mook? I mean something like, always go in the order: Proration, FRC timing, other timings, invincibility, hit effects, anything else. - Should we go with 'H' or 'HS' for the Heavy Slash button? I personally suggest 'HS' for Heavy just because it is more standard... it's what the mook and Arc both use. I have hijacked the first post of the thread to keep track of work being done. If you've done or started work on a translation (or know who has), let me know so I can keep the first post updated. Long way to go still. :/ It dawns on me now that the 'Tension' column is not needed because the TG column is always - for anything that uses Tension. I can just reuse that one. TIME TO FIX SOME HTML. Edit: Teyah realized this with Millia and I guess either didn't mention it or I totally skipped where he did. Either way, good on him for not being dumb like me. UHG, well Johnny is finished and uploaded. All pages have been updated and reuploaded.
  17. It is biggerer. Don't abuse it or I'll be mad.
  18. The size limit is more to prevent people from having huuuge ones that make the left column really long. I could maybe make them longer if I cut out some of the other extra stuff in the left column (like post count, join date, AIM icons, etc). Edit: Or if you meant file size, uhm... I'm not sure there is a limit right now anyway.
  19. I'm happy if people want to do all of the HTML for me. Sometimes it's just easier for me to make the changes than ask/wait for others to do it, especially when it comes to technical/design stuff like when I make CSS changes (which I do, frequently). Also, I'm guessing a lot of people don't want to go through the tedious work of dumping it all into the HTML, which I am willing to pick up the slack on. RedBeard translated Johnny for example, and I put him into the HTML. Now RedBeard is free to translate Axl.
  20. To whoever asked, I am not translating Axl or anyone because I can't read Japanese. Go me. Edit: Also it looks like a lot of the formatting problems I was seeing was some sort of retarded problem copy > pasting from the View Source page in firefox. Instead I did View Source > File > Save and it saved fine. Go Firefox. Po - What do those Baiken follow ups follow up on? Edit: Also if you'll notice, we added a new column to separate the name of the move from the input command. Other important note... there is a difference between F and A for blocking. H = High, L = Low, F = Air Faultless, A = Air without Faultless. For Cancel, c = Self Cancel, G = Gattling, R = Roman, F = False Roman Po - You seem to be missing your *1 note. Alright, I updated the Baiken charts with all the new info. It's still missing a lot of the names though, so just fill those in and it should be okay. Actually you should check over the Cancel and Guard columns again because I noticed a few errors in them just in passing. Make sure you work off the new version. Also I updated the character template a bit to fix a few errors and add the notes table, so if you start a new character, use it: http://www.dustloop.com/data/ac/chara.html Next up I guess is putting Johnny into the tables. It would be helpful for people to declair who they are translating/putting into charts so we don't have two people doing the same thing. Edit AGAIN: I've removed the "nospecial" class as in retrospect it was ugly anyway. All "special" fields should just be class="special". First half of Johnny is now up.
  21. Any editor that is used for coding or similar is your best bet. jEdit is free and it's alright. Make sure you set it to Soft Emulated Tabs and 2 spaces per tab of course. There are other good editors out there but I'm drawing a blank at the moment... most of the other ones I use are too heavy for this sort of thing. If you want accurate spacing, don't ever use Word or Notepad or Wordpad. Actually, never use any Microsoft product when working with web editing. That seems to be a good rule.
  22. Through the magic of science, the select screen now mimics Accent Core instead of Slash.
  23. Oh right, I totally forgot. I guess if I can find a screenshot of the new select screen I'll rework the thing to look like it instead. Yeah the HTML itself was a little wonky, but not really bad or anything. Tabs aren't really an issue as I just Tabs > Spaces them anyway. Yeah the thing is that Windows pairs those sets of files, so if you try to delete /milia_files, it deletes the HTML. Also it changes the HTML so that it points to the local copy of the data (so it changes ../images/mi.gif to be /millia_images/mi.gif).
  24. Well I'm not going to go out of my way to make my own design when the old one was perfectly good. And to be fair I rewrote most of their HTML to actually be good (and use CSS).
