Well you don't space really, and I don't really play offensive. But Psychofang spaces out moves to get the drop on the opponent. He played pretty aggressive. I need either a Kishuu or Zantetsu avatar with the way I use those moves though. But in all honesty psychofang is unique in his play style, but dioxide still has the strongest hitconfirm into combos from practically anything and anywhere. And she deals the most damage in the corner. And mAc you have an apprentice o_O

I literally turned on both systems to see who would invite me first. I'm on that Hollywood swag, good job in your neutral game dioxide. It was my dream to face a girl who can beat me, and you just realized my dream. :3 Anyways psychofang is like if me and mAc had sex and created a new Hakumen player with really strong mixup. I wish I could pull off combos online easier, so I wouldn't have to play so negative, but it makes me work on my neutral game that much more. As you guys might have seen I only play aggressive in spurts. But I don't get why I'm the only one who uses Yukikaze™?

I don't think so I'm running on low energy. I'll show up thursday and next tuesday cool? Real talk, all of Jin, Ragna and Sol's mixup makes me feel like I should cut my wrist for letting that shit hit me. They're wake up pressure is a guessing game though lol, which is what I was getting at. This is so true. hakumen's AA is hella slow, I know I can 6d/2d on reaction but when it's rarely used I have a harder time reacting to it. TRUTH! Damn, dat Kaeru art work? Kirbster you must now transcend your pad godliness into a higher form of godliness. -
Wow that means a lot for you to say that... I can't imagine anyone more aggressive than mAc to be honest with you guys. that avatar...

Who's Soul? Sounds like psycho is varied.

That's me guessing he was going to use it. Not reacting to it though :/ ftfy Also I'm finally watching persona 4, this anime is fucking sick. Who knows, I might ACTUALLY play the game :o -
Fair enough, we can give it a try. I'm just curious to see how everyone uses this character. Makes this very interesting, while the combos system, especially with Hakumen is very linear, there is still very strong mind games which enhances this game. Hopefully I'll have enough time/energy for us to face each other.

psychofang, where do you live are you east cost or west coast?
-
*Puts on shades* I'm already on BB again. But yea I agree with you about counters. Sometimes I also use it when my opponent is pressuring me to the point where I can't use anything to get out of their pressure, so I'll look for an opportunity to counter them. I'll also counter when they're obvious with their pressure/tools. Otherwise I rather just go for a traditional punish, like 2a/3c/jb or something along those lines. But don't worry mAc I don't think anyone will be taking your aggressive Hakumen title away anytime soon.

^Real talk, along with 6a doesn't matter if it's online or offline I can't react and block it. -
I've always considered your execution very good actually. Slightly better than mine when I'm in shape. I try to limit my use fo counters unless I'm sure, it's also interesting that using Ky has improved my use of Zanshin and spacing overall. I have an easier time keeping people out of range and capitalizing it. yes, ctrl has very good execution but I feel that dioxide's is the best, ctrl is random as fuck with Hakumen though.

GGs today minna-san. Fuck Jin's mixup game. -
Nolan aka Sophis has the best use of drive, I only have trademark on Yukikaze™, but Nolan has very good use of drive. Dioxide DOES.NOT.ZANSHIN.EVER though. mAc's aggressive playstyle is my only kryptonite since I can't play aggressive against him for long before he just says "lol stop this." and proceeds to hotaru my nuts into inescapable corner pressure. For dioxide don't play my play style, go around it. I'm honestly perfectly content zoning until a land a nice hit I can combo off of into oki. Otherwise I just play negative. But you have VERY strong execution, I used to think mAc had good execution until I saw your combos lol. @ctrl, you are the most gimmicky Hakumen when we played I was like "wtf is he doing" "why the fuck is whatever he's doing working" hence why that is your title. I forgot about sans nor have I played nor skeletal. I'll try for this week since my isp got buffed and this game is fun again. As for Walljumpman, if you watch his matches against N.A Hakumen players like Spark (the God) or Japanese players like Takosu, he tends to win. hence his title the Hakumen killer. I've yet to see him at least lose in a Hakumen mirror. Finally I don't feel I can play aggressive unless I'm using Kishuu :/
-
So, this game is fun again mostly because of the mind games. I'm actually having fun playing this game for the first time in months :3 I also played against dioxide. I'll leave this categorization of everyone who plays Hakumen. mAc: most aggressive Hakumen player. crtlaltwtf: most gimmicky Hakumen player. Dioxide: strongest executionary Hakumen, she does the most advance combos even online that you only see Chin do along with amazing hitconfirm. Stay gdlk. tectal: most patient and well rounded. LegendaryRath: the most Azreal Hakumen player? (We haven't played yet) psychofang: ???? (We haven't played yet either) Spark: DEBESS.avi Hakumen player (obviously I haven't played him) Walljump: The Hakumen killer. Nuff said. It's funny how we all play the same character but we all play him to suit out own playstyles, like my negative playstyle: zoning spacing, dwindling your health down and keeping you out of reach at all times. Discuss :3 I'm out to go press some buttons.

But it 6-700 damage off an overhead isn't that big a problem on defense, Jin's 6a overhead which is roughly just as fast as Hakumen's can be converted into damage if RC'ed making his overhead a threat once he has 50% meter. While still retaining gimmicky grab setups with 6b among other tools. Though Ragna's 6b is substantially slower than Hakumen's, he can still convert it into damage. To me, legitimate mixup ability means how much your opponent needs to be on their toes because a hit from any of your mixup tools leads into decent damage. Hakumen can only truly get that with 3+ stars at his disposal. That;s why characters like Hakumen deal so much damage off their random hits, it's because they don't get many opportunities as say characters like Bang/Valkenhyn/Tao to open the opponent up.
-
@mashthat5a, I agree with what you said except the use of Hakumen's overhead, it's pretty useless except for that occasional guard crush. But it's ultimately used to pressure your opponent so that you can bide to time for a legit setup with 3+ stars or a grab. 6b is only useful in CP on CH cus you get a combo off that. inorite?
-
Thanks, I'll let him know he can contact you in the future, I was going to tell him to see Lich, but I forgot you wrote an FAQ/Guide on how to use Hazama. I'm tempted to sig this. Ragna. Though if Hakumen has 3+ stars and the right spacing, Hakumen can be more ambiguous. But Ragna always has the same decent tools, and can be more ambiguous and gimmicky once he has 50% meter. lol That salt bro... Ragna is gimmicky, like Sol and Jin. Hakumen can be ambiguous like I said though with 3+ stars, without that it's hard for him to open up opponents who know how to block and tech grabs.

Real talk I'd like to see how they'd animate yukikaze in manga/anime form. By far one of the dopest supers in the game still along with GETB, DbD, and Bang's new Super among others. And they showed DbD in Chimical Complex, looked hella violent and painful :/ -

Girl problems have risen, sadly I won't be able to make it tomorrow. Looks like you guys will be seeing me sunday, at least this'll give me a chance to work on my impossible dust combos and shake off a bit of rust off all my hakumanz. -
Yea and it's more along the lines of him knowing what he's doing wrong is why I'm asking. I told him to ask one fo the better Hazama players on dustloop, I can give a general outline of what NOT to do as a player and somewhat with regards to Hazama but I don't play that character so I can't say "do x or y in this situation because Hazama can punish it". I've already told him what he needs to work on and how to do that. But the same way as I was helped by someone who mains Hakumen I could imagine the same thing being beneficial to him. Also with regards to the Hakumen combos online, ctrl, do you regularly play offline as well. @mAc yea Terra Break has blown me up occasionally as well lol.
