  1. I haven't forgotten about you all. I've been practicing up for Final Round. Hella shoutouts to Miller and wara for placing some good Yosuke stuff at Winter Brawl!
  2. Hexyz Force is indeed average. I have that on my psp wasn't thrilled by it. Another average game but is on the pretty good side of average is Jeanne D'Arc for the psp. Little Strategy game thinger and about Joan of Arc, from a jrpg side.
  3. We aren't the largest thread on the site, yet, though. That's the Montreal thread, I think.
  4. Now that I actually really think about it, it may not have been Playthrough 1, but maybe Try #2. I did the first part where you were pair with Bosch once (or twice) and racked up a few items and party exp to spend on the other two later. Other than that, I don't remember too much, other than Nina's traps being strong and really manipulating the movement and attack ranges.
  5. Use Miller's hollywood money. I just happened to notice at the bottom of the Event Announcements forum: Moderators of this Forum Alphakami Users Browsing this Forum There are currently 13 users browsing this forum. 6. I actually managed to take my first playthrough all the way to the end of the game. =O Death or D-Counter 100% isn't necessarily -certain- but it certainly helps to soften the blow of "playing the same game over and over" in that your D-Ratio increases so you get to see more of the game each time it happens. Who'd you pick as your focus in the beginning? You'll love Ashton's new Killer Move you'll get in the bonus dungeon. =D It's fun. Heck, the whole bonus dungeon is fun and quirky. I remember playing Devil Kids. Not much else other than I had a lion. Speaking of bonus stuff being fun. RADIATA STORIES. The bonus dungeon is so wacky. I love stuff like that where the game simply makes fun of itself.
  7. That's why I chose the word colorful, meaning that they're not just kinda bland. I know she and other moms don't go crazy all the time. I only remember one instance where you told me she was going to "rahrahrahrah" and that was when I picked you up really late one time. Other times she's been really friendly and wanting to see how your play is. =o LUMIN GO TO FINAL ROUND WITH MILLER AND EVERYBODY. LIKE HALF THE COMMUNITY IS GOING WE WANT TO SEE YOU AND HAVE A BARBECUE
  8. Only the original ones. The new ones are garbs and only quick cash grabs against people looking for a Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Complete remake. Breath of Fire 4 is one of my all-time enjoyed RPGs. I dunno about they get too easy, though. Rider, the postgame monster, is a... well... monster. Has Star Ocean 2 been brought up, yet? This one IS my all-time most enjoyed RPG. It's wonderful. O=
  9. I came to this thread completely by accident. Everything done by Compile Heart, Idea Factory!, or.... crap there's on other studio... all they seem to put out are blah games. None of it's fun. Grandia 1, i'm currently playing. It's fun. Grandia 2 did a good job on building on everything and making it better. I have a great dislike for Infinite Undiscovery. Everything about it just rubs me the wrong way, it feels like it's not finished. I use my Vita to play old PSX games like Xenogears and Harvest Moon. Brilliant.
  10. Shoutouts to Moms of MTNG being colorful. Star's Mom. Jackie's Mom. Midnight's Mom. Papstr's Mom. Naimat's Mom.
  11. I heard that in Japan, literally everyone is on a portable device playing Monster Hunter. Mr. Salarymen, the little ratty kancho kid, the bully guy, the hair dresser, everyone.
  12. IBITSU! IBITSUUUUUUU! Edit: And 6000. 6000 is fun. I had the misfortune/fortune of stumbling upon it while reading Boom Cube's 1/6000 Honesty recommendation. What a mood whiplash.
  13. @Boom Cube: sure, why not! =D @Jackie: YOU KNOW.... My collectors edition for 360 Catherine is still unopened. Since I no longer have a 360, I'm not sure what I should do with this. Do you want it, or should I eBay it? =o
  14. Well I guess this is as good excuse as any to tell the story. I used to be super big into racing games. Arcade style, specifically. I love VERSUS racing where you're directly against a human, time trials bore me and racing sims are also boring. Not as Milln, but as some name I had years ago I was pretty unstoppable. Racing's in my blood. My family has always raced or been around racing. I'm sure my records are gone by now, but I had them at one time. Racing is just a thrill to me. The tensing up, everything whooshing by, constantly watching all lanes and all cars and mapping out routes not just down the road but between cars and mapping more weavings in case someone speeds up or otherwise. I didn't stay there because there's no competitive scene outside time trials and I got bored quick and switched to mmorpgs where I continued to flourish. When I was in Canada, I visited Playdium, their biggest arcade in Toronto and they had this giant ultra deluxe sit down Outrun 2 machine. Oh man. I was having a horrid day due to stuff that had gone awry and Outrun 2 happens to be my comfort game. I spent the whole evening just messing around and taking all the ghosts on the paths. I'm sure, unless they clear scores on a schedule, that there's a yellow GX named MILN confounding everyone that plays it up there still. =3 I just love arcade style racers. Jackie's post that in turn elicited my response made me realize a couple things. I'm going to do more of what I really want and it begins, or began, with me going 16-4 on speedlists on Need For Speed Most Wanted 2012 just now. Gonna hush here because I never feel comfortable talking about the things I've done.
  15. Do so, Jackie. This is Middle Tennessee Needs Gaming, not Middle Tennessee Needs Fighting Games. We're here to nurture all types of games and players and grow them into wonderful people. Heck, some of you know my racing game career and my mmorpg pioneering.
  16. We already have that. It's called normal mode. *cries*
  17. The built-in streaming isn't... Going to be a boon in my opinion. Netplay is already pretty kuso, imagine now that 60% of those players are streaming in addition to normal family use of Internet dragging them down. Over saturation is also going to be a problem, just like Jackie said. It's already difficult to find particular videos since YouTube removed tags, it'll be even worse with more social consoles allowing constant new content of varying relevance. It'll be good for the people that will finally be able to put good content, but it's going to cause a huge huge influx of garbage by allowing everyone. Think of how trash non-subscribe only twitch chat is. And how wonderful subscribe only chat us. It's similar to how that had come to pass. Mostly good content with some blah, and when these new consoles come out its going to flip completely, I predict. And even then it only affects games playable in new consoles.
  18. Frisbees? More like shurikens.
  19. I believe this ten thousandth post belongs to me.
  20. Cookeville bros, can you get a head count of who's going to Final Round? I'm trying to understand exactly how many tennesseeans are going to that tournament. Also, don't forget there's that charity tournament thrown by DeathNapalm in Chattanooga. I can't attend, I've gotta work, but I'd you're not doing anything this Saturday help a fellow air dasher player with his senior project, eh? I'll buy you lunch in return. People in my car: (Klein Naimat star) each of you bring a 4gb flash drive filled with music, we'll listen to it on the way down and the way back. Again if you haven't registered yet, do so ASAP.
  21. Jackie, who's coming with you to Final Round in your vehicle?
  22. Shoutouts to Georgia. =3 You're all great to hang out with and it was lots of fun having you up here and playing you in graemz. Eshi's a boss, ZomB is that dude, Skeletal Minion has a cool hat, and it was pleasant meeting Reptar. Eager to see you all and hang out at Final Round! Speaking of which; my guys- If you are going to Final Round and haven't registered yet, you should do so as soon as possible. The deadline is March 15th. http://www.finalround.org/register.cfm Since the next tournament is, in fact, Final Round for us, I recommend we do a gathering or two in addition to the normal weeklies to keep everyone's vs. Human practice up. Taking suggestions on places and dates now. Mmm, also, Lost and Found: 1 black wired xbox 360 controller. It was on my desk in my room. 1 pair of headphones in my car on the left side of the back seats.
  23. Both of you have my mirth.
  24. To both Tret and Volpe: yes, my house is open Friday evening. I'll be at Kaos Theory around 7 or 8. Gotta grab Klein first.
