  1. I'll join~ =w=b
  2. It means they have to work together more than before. I like it.
  3. Here's my theory on 8D. I'm guessing that it's the same move. However, when opponents are hit, they're sort of 'Coded' with an anti-tech until they hit the ground. That way, they're safe against the loop and they don't have to change 8D to another move. I hope that's the case. I need 8D to catch jumpy Bang players and other people who like to try and hurdle over Nirvana.
  4. ^ My computer can't see japanese characters. Are you able to translate that?
  5. You win in my book, sir. -shakes hand-
  6. Me using throw loop is extremely rare. o 3o/ Dunno if that coming from me is creditable. But people, mainly my friends, do recognize me for it. =w=
  7. Lol. This has happened to me so many times. Sometimes Carl wouldn't even jump on Nirvana. He'd just kinda float next to her.
  8. ^ Almost everything you just said is a complete lie. If Carl's only weapon was the throw loop, then how are people still losing to it? Also, only scrubs hide behind Nirvana. Carl is a great offensive character. You just need to know what you're doing. I rarely ever even use the throw loop. Clap loop? Yes. But I've gotten as far as I have without depending on the infinite. B is your friend by the way.
  9. Well I sometimes end up catching them with block in the air when the aerial ice car. If they follow up with the second hit, you'll probably be able to punish as soon as you hit the ground.
  10. Very often, when Jin ice-cars across the screen Nirvana would be standing infront of me to act as a meatshield. If you're standing just in the right position, you can punish him with 5C and then probably 6D and then you could get something started from there.
  11. 360s analog works way better for Carl. Trust me. I seriously don't know why people try and torture themselves on the D Pad when the Analog works like a dream.
  12. Does anyone else notice that Carl has files in the Sound Test that you don't hear in game? Like how he names all the pieces in Chess.
  13. Carl's Cantata Distortion can also be used to set up for the Clap Trap. Just position Nirvana on the other side of the twirling gear and have her clap a second before the distortion ends. The shock ring will catch the victim before he/she has a chance to get launched back from the distortion. You pretty much know what to do from there. Haven't read this whole topic, so I dunno if this has been mentioned before. But it's a good way for beginners who have a hard time linking together Carl's frames. The easiest way to set up for this particular strategy is using the loop which involves Carl's 5A+B+C and Nirvana's 6D and then cancelling it with a standard grab with Carl (The one where he slams the opponent into the ground). As Carl is slamming the opponent, you can buff up for Uruwashi no Cantata. Since the grab stuns the opponent for a few seconds, it's a guaranteed tech trap with which you can use to set up for the loop.
  14. I play Carl just fine on a controller. Although my thumbs DO start hurting after awhile. I've had a soreness in my left-thumb for quite awhile now. xD (I use the analog. Not the D-Pad)
  15. lol You're bad. xD

  16. That has to be the saddest thing I've seen..
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEKju9R99KM I'm not sure if this helps anyone. But this video shows how I get my opponents into the clap juggle at 1:15.
