I'm pretty sure 3C 5B is character specific, but yes, it's better. Does more damage as a single move and prorates less so your combo damage will go up by a good amount.
-
Usability wise, obviously. Though I have managed to land the 10.3k in a match by baiting an anti-air, which probably wouldn't be easy at all against better players
-
6C fatal brings the damage down by about 2k when I tried it; haven't done it off of jC, but more than likely it'd do a lot less damage because of proration and not being able to do quadruple konig wolf.
-
Corner combo, 10.3k. 100 meter required to start, corner only; 150 meter used in all. j.236236C, RC, 2C, 6B, 2C, 6C, 2C, j.214B, 2D, land, 236A, land, 236B, j.236B, j.236A, 5C, j.B, j.B, land 5D, 5B, 2C, j.DB, 3C, j.A, land 5D, 5B, 632146D. Not sure how easy it'd be to land a j.236236C in the corner, but yeah. Thing has stupidly good proration values.

Okay, messed around with some re-launch stuff and managed 9.6k for 100 meter, non-CH. Did not test on people that 5B 2C 632146D hits on, but providing that all of 632146D hits this'd probably push into 9.7k. Can start this off just under 50 meter... [h]2C, 236B, 2C, 6B, 2C, 6C, 2C, j.214B, 2D, 236A, land, 236B, j.236B, j.236A, j.5/7CB, j.B, land 5D, 5B, 2C, j.DB, j.3C, j.A, land 5D, 5B, 632146D. Unfortunately, you can't safely follow it up with j.236236C... the first hit lands (hitting for a total of 9770 even), but the opponent can tech it immediately.

Why are all these sweeps becoming techable? Are they trying to kill oki or something?
-
Nah, you don't get another 50. You gain back something like 42 though. Actually now that I think about it, TK j.236236C may be possible if you're under 35% HP due to auto heat gain. In that case, 10.3k, I think. EDIT: Okay yeah I just did some retesting: with 5B 2C 632146D ender: 9476 And 35% HP or less, you can add j.236236C to hit 10276 and 10436, respectively. Valkenhayn has a conditional 10k break >_> I have a feeling that 10k is possible without 35% HP though, will try some stuff later on.

Another combo post... maximum damage off of CH 2C in corner, I think. [h]CH 2C, dash, 2C, 236B RC, 2C, 6B, 2C, 6C, 2C, j.214B, 2D, 236A, land, 236B, j.236B, j.236A, 5C, j.B, j.B, land, 5D, 5B, 632146D. Does 9.3k damage; haven't tested 5B 2C 632146D against Tager/whoever the heck else it hits, but it'd probably go up to 9.5k. Can add 3C at the end for an additional 20 damage if it'll kill, I guess.

Meterless combo after rising [h]j.C (albeit CH only :|) On standing opponents: [h]CH j.C, 7dj.D, 3C, j.B, 5A, 5B, 236B, j236B, j.CD, j.B, j.214B, 9DD, j.B, dj.B, j.C. 3165 damage, 35 meter gain. On crouchers: [h]CH j.C, 7dj.D, 3C, j.B, 5B, 236B, j236B, j.CB, j.B, land D, 5B, 5C/2C, j.B, j.214B, 9DD, j.B, dj.B, j.C. 3762 damage, 43 meter gain. First few hits have fairly tight execution in both versions. In the croucher combo, 6B 5B 632146D might be possible if you omit the j.B before Mondlicht and just TK Mondlicht off of 5C/2C.

BBCS LokeTest 2: Oct. 8th, 2010 Discussion (NO COMPLAINING)

- MUGEN: after gauge depletes, will not increase for at least 6 seconds. Right, because it was definitely overpowered in the first place I love how they've completely ignored jC... Hell, they've actually buffed it. -
Haven't seen this one posted yet: [h] CH 6A rc, D, 236B, j236B, j236A, CD, jB, Mondlicht, 9DD, jB, djB, jC. 3421 damage, 50 meter required. Only way to combo off of CH 6A, I think :|
-
6A guard point is active starting on frame 5, ends as soon as recovery begins, and does not work against lows.
-
Zero magatama throw combo in the corner: 5B+C, 5A, j.A, j.B, dj, j.2A, j.C
-
May as well post this if there are 6C FCs listed on the first page: FC 6C, full 6C, 214B, 623AA, falling j.2C, 5C, 5C, 623AA, falling j.2C, 2C, j.2A x2, ad j.2A, j.C, 6C/5C, Shippu. > 10k damage. Yes, that is a 10 magatama combo.

A thought I had just now: Bang's Nox can sever ties to the Boundary, and IIRC he's going to learn how to properly use it. I wonder; could it be that, not Kokonoe, not Rachel, but Bang is the one who'll end up bringing back Hakumen to his 100% existence? Would be some ridiculous twist, to say the least.
-
If you're close to the corner (back to the corner) with 100 meter, ~4.1k full screen punish: 632146C, RC, 6D~A, 4D~A, 623D, (dash) 2B, 5C, j.Cx5, 2C, 2D~D, j.214B# You RC after Hazama pulls the other guy in. The timing and chains to use change depending on the character and the distance at which you hit them with Rekkazan. Cool thing is, with how much meter you get back, you're basically boosting Rekkazan's damage by 1.8k for 6 meter. Stupidly situational, though, obviously.
-
I like how Jin, Lambda, and Noel are in their own sub-tiers. But anyway, Hazama that high up? Has there been some recent influx of really good Hazama players, or some sort of new playstyle facet, or something? Or is Japan really that good at using Houtenjin?
-
Couldn't he just move Nirvana into the orb to cancel it, making you eat the rest of Cantata? idk though, haven't tried it myself.
-
Question about a corner combo: 5B, 3C, 214D~C, dash under, 5C, 2C, 4D~A, 623D, 2B, 5C, j214B# I'm whiffing 623D on a lot of the smaller characters. Is this character specific or am I just doing it wrong?
-
It very well could. Hypothetically, let's say that ten observed matches were best of 5. In seven of these, Bang wins 3-2. In three, Hazama wins 3-2. Looking purely at the matches, yeah, it's a 7-3. Looking at the total rounds, however, it's 27-23, which is 5.8-4.2; much closer than the previous 7-3.
-
EDIT: Nevermind Though is there a specific timing needed to land 6HS 2D after tatami frc ad jD? I (think) that I'm doing it as fast as possible, but I keep hitting 6HS as an OTG hit rather than aerial.
-
That 214DB has to be a fatal counter in order to follow up.
-
I think that was the one with Hazama moonwalking with Thriller playing the background.
-
Hop Tsubaki can be chained over and over again against OTG opponent while in Mugen.
-
To clarify on Jin's 236C, the projectile starts out insanely slow, but gets a huge speed boost after a few moments; at that point it seems to move faster than any of the other ice swords.
