You're not allowed to post until you actually attend another tournament or gathering. Also, I don't even play AE, but I took part in the tournament last Saturday. I placed 7th out of 20 people using grappler tactics. You can now call me Lord Rapengrab.

Mid TN has been bodied by low tier for over a year now.....

Bullrush and the knee have always been fast, but this SC5 Astaroth is slimmer and walks/dashes/runs faster. Definitely the fastest Astaroth has ever been.

I wanted to mention every time Astaroth moved or did anything in that video.

I wasn't just saying pessimistic things for the sake of being pessimistic. I was just relaying what I last heard. I will now lose to Bang 80% of the time. Seriously, in CS1, I would lose to the worst Bang players due to 5B punishing or beating out EVERYTHING Tager does. This made my day. NOT THIS TIME, LIBRARY! GENERAL...EMERILL...TANGENT...BUSTER!!!!! If Billy (or Chandler) can provide the laptop with bracket software, we can run the tournaments. We can even come up with a mystery game to play. Shit, I'm hype already...

If Billy is still up for it, we'll run a tournament at GG in November. It doesn't have to be the last Saturday of the month if everyone can agree on one weekend.

With fighting games being a big deal right now, I'm hoping it'll be the best in the series. That sounds good. Mid TN needs more awareness.

Sorry I had to leave before the mystery tournament finished. Chandler - Great matches in BB. We pretty much just go 50/50 at this point. Cyner - Nice meeting and playing you in BB. Watching you play SSBM was hype. Falcon - Same as Cyner. Thanks for coming up, and hope both of you can come next month. Star - Y U NO PLAY GAMES? Tad - Glad you made it last minute, and thanks for sitting and talking while I ate. Naimat - We never get to play each other for casuals... Doro - GGs in Marvel casuals. Can't wait for dat Ultimate. KO - Always good discussing the fat characters in games. Watching your Bowser/Ganon in smash is great.

Milln, feel free to upload all of the matches you recorded on your phone. Casuals against Eugene were entertaining, and Dudley vs. Hugo was crazy. Sounds good. There's not many other scenes in mid TN. The closest non-TN scene is about 3 hours away, and they've come to a few of ours (the marvel players that took first a couple of times). This is the problem with the South. Cities are not near as populated as east/west coast, and we're much more spread out. While I can understand this, I don't think Guilty Gear will attract the more casual crowd, which happens to be exactly what we're targetting at the moment. By getting the more casual people to come in, we can then slowly convert them to the "hardcore" side and attend more. GG is known for its crazy advanced stuff, and this may scare off newbies. That doesn't look like it's going to happen any time soon. We barely have 10 people that make it every month. Melee shows a huge amount of numbers though, so it can get crowded fast when they come in. Heh, I overheard this for 2 hours Saturday night. Smash is the most advanced "fighter" that doesn't involve arcade sticks. There is a lot of fast button-pressing and c-stick smashing, and you have to have some sort of execution for that. The game is faster than most people think too. I respect them as players and try not to give them crap, because Blazblue players get similar crap too.

Eh, no thanks. We'll work something out for the next MTN Halloween games. Although, tomorrow, we can test out chair configurations in your car, Tetris-style (just to see if there were differences from your chair).
