Technically, I think that was possible in CS2 against Carl. And yeah, Tager has some very nice combos now that build a ton of meter. His pressure is stronger because A-Sledge is not as negative as it used to be on block, and 5A has crazy advantage on block (meaning 5A, 5B, 2B is a real blockstring now). MTW after any 360 anywhere on the screen is a nice addition too.

I meant to post about Tager last night... If you guys thought getting through Tager was hard in CS1/CS2, then you'll really hate CSEX Tager. More damage from bnb's. Better pressure tools. Great heat gain. Elbow drop loops. Can't wait.

It's just lazy though. All three of his supers are things that we've seen before (maximum wesker, shinku hadoken, and inferno). Using a more accurate analogy, it's like ordering an "ice cream deluxe" instead of getting a banana split. However, the only difference the deluxe has is sprinkles and nuts.

Yeah, after looking at the guidelines, you're absolutely right. I apologize. It's supposed to be short, and it does only focus on the tournament holder. That's kind of weird though, considering you're talking about your community but only talking to one person. Seems counterproductive.

The results are diverse in tournaments because the game changes all the time. Remember the first major that featured MK9? There was a huge patch the day before the tournament. They, of course, stuck with old version for the players. I just talked to Jason about this very subject Saturday. He was saying that he hated the devs because he would go in and say "Um, I found this and it could be stupidly strong." Their response was either laughter or shrugs.

Every fighter has done this during this generation, not just BB. SF went from zoning and slow footsies(mainly Sagat and Ryu) to complete rushdown in AE (Fei, Viper, Yun, Yang). Along the way, bad or decent characters got nerfed for no reason. Marvel 3 went from complete rushdown to a decent mix of rushdown and zoning/keepaway. It's been shown that zoning works MUCH better in Ultimate. KoF went from that 360 atrocity to whatever it is now. Plus, I've heard that game has more balance issues than should be allowed. MK changes drastically every 3 weeks. You wanna talk about a game where the developers don't know what they want it to be? This is the game here. The problem with BB devs is that they want to patch the game for balance, but at the same time, they're trying to keep it fresh. As a result, bnb's get completely changed and new combos arise. This does aggravate the players, since it masks the balancing.
