Dang, we've gone under 10 three times?! I could've sworn it was only that one time where we did a round robin. 1. Me 2. Milln 3. Chandler 4. Star 5. Naimat (for most of them) 6. Doro (missed 1 iirc) 7. Klein (somewhat random) 8. Tad (also random) 9. Papstr (missed one or two) 10. Pickle (for most of them) 11. Zeno (a few) 12. Volpe (a few) 13. Grimstar (posts but never shows) 14-15. New Memphis dudes (seem to be regulars now) 16-20. Melee players (at least four non-BB playing every time) 21-23. Random out of staters 24-25. We've only hit below the 10-person mark once, and even then, it was like 8 or 9. I wouldn't fret too much on that. The GIANT tv in the arcade is awesome. Playing a tournament match on that beast is hype.

Have you tried talking to Jason to see if we could have room for at least five setups? Moving to a different venue only takes money out of his pocket, so I assume he'd comply.

I just don't know why it's even being considered. Running Smash and BB took all day last time. We're going to be adding Ultimate and possibly KoF, so why are we discussing a game that very few people have played and are interested in? You guys could have AC gatherings at someone's house though. That would be more feasible.

Come on guys. Armored Core would take way too long and is too much of a hassle. Why are we even considering this? Besides, Milln had said in the past that he researched it and said it wasn't worth it.

NEWS FOR THOSE THAT DON'T GO TO SRK!!!!! Jason is holding an UMvC3 tournament on November 19th, Saturday, at 12:00p.m. This is only several days after Ultimate's release. Third Strike and AE are also being played. Naimat and Chandler, you guys better make it to this.

Chandler and I have discussed this. When fighting him, sometimes you'll hear me say, "Why would you NOT jump!?" Good players see simple 360/720 setups and jump or backdash. Expecting this, I yomi collider or jump + airgrab. Meanwhile, Chandler stands there. LOL

Yeah, I wasn't trying to cause some sort of name revolt. Chris has told me he prefers to call me Astaroth and asked me if that was okay. On the other hand, Tad, Kyle, and Phil all started calling me Lee when they first found out my name.

Hulk gaining armor on his gamma charge is a very good buff. His new wallbounces allow for more combos too. I expect him to be better than Nemesis, but only time will tell.

I can understand sticking to the handles. I'm far too accustomed to calling you "Volpe," Jonathan "Milln," and Brian "Star."

You know, you guys can call me by real name if any of you want to. "Astaroth" has two more syllables than my actual name. Then again, we all call each other by our handles, so it's no big deal. I don't even know Volpe's real name... that could be his real name.

Yeah, 3D fighters are naturally slower than its 2D counterparts. It is somewhat on par with BB when it comes to defense. The fastest attack in SC4 was 13 frames iirc.

SC5 looks like it's going to be a bit faster than SC4. Watch a video of Astaroth in SC4 compared to him in SC5 and you'll notice a big difference. Hmmmmm, long combos? Yoshimitsu was the combo master in SC4 (he was my tertiary character too). Tira was a bit combo heavy, but she was too random to use competitively. Ivy had lots of different stances and decent combos. Viola in SC5 is similar to Mu in BB.

What kind of information are you wanting? How 3D fighters compare to 2D fighters? What the characters are like? General speed?
