Thanks for the clarification. I know I've seen it as a rule many times, yet people still map those in the tournament videos.
I might be coming to this, so I just wanted to check.
Yeah, if I go to FR, I'm leaving Friday morning. 4 hours ain't that bad. Then, assuming the BB tournament ends that same Friday, I could be heading back home that night.
"Button mapping/shouldering/macros not allowed - default available inputs may be rearranged to different positions if necessary."
Does this mean that bursting or rapid cancels can't be mapped to a single button?
Chandler (and anyone else with videos), the videos don't have to be perfectly edited. While it is nice, it's not necessary to edit out character selects and button mapping. Just sayin'...
I am going to try my best to make it to Final Round though. It would definitely be the biggest tournament I've ever attended.
Also, just realized that they are using PS3. Might need to try and find a converter.
And the rules on the FR website states... Button mapping/shouldering/macros not allowed - default available inputs may be rearranged to different positions if necessary
What does that mean exactly? Does that mean you can't have a one-button burst or one-button RC? I've seen a lot of SSF4 tournaments where that kind of mapping wasn't allowed.
I don't even know my situation for Final Round. It depends on how bogged down I get in my college classes, as well as how much money I have. If I do go, I'll be getting my own ride and meet up with you guys.
Hey Grimstar, are you driving, or are you riding with Patrick? If the executive chair fits in the trunk/car, I'll ride with you guys and pay you gas moneys...
Not really. I agreed with what Axis was saying, then I added personal opinion (although it sidetracked a bit).
I don't see how it would be disrespectful to be confident even when the odds are against you. Instead of taking offense, the opponent may see it as stupidity anyway.
^ This.
I would much rather lose knowing that the matchup was tough, than to win with a top tier. Playing low tiers can result in frustration when money is on the line, but it was ultimately the player's decision anyway.
Still not sure if I can make this. I wish I knew how many people were actually going to take part in the BBCS tournament. I don't want to go if it's just going to be 7 or 8 people.
Meh, I thought about doing this earlier, but I didn't have time. Awesome title though.
