I love how people believe that Gadget Finger is the end all be all that Tager has. Its not like a Noel player has ever guess right in the history of that matchup.

I've noticed d.5c > d.6b crosses up sometimes depending on how you spaced the beginning of the combo, something to keep in mind if you want someone in the corner.

Alroght guys i got a really easy and decently good combo for you guys. 3c, 22bc, 66c, 5d, d.5c, 623d, 6c, sjc, jd(crossup), d.6d, d.6b, d.5c, 236D. [4067] 43% heat No 66C link, builds more heat and damage than standard drive juggle bnb, works on Ragna, Litchi, and Carl(that I've tested, if it works on these guys it'll work on just about anybody). Easy as hell timing. edit: add one haida loop rep on some of the larger characters and take out the last d.5c for 4460dmg, trying to add any more and the combo gets much more difficult.

You'd be surprised at how much picking Litchi instead really helps in this matchup, I probably have less than half of the matchup experience with Li than Noel, but more than twice the success.

is this a challenge mode combo you're trying to finish? If not d.6b to d.5b, d.5c always connects in most cases

On the subject of another gathering when is everyone free to play next week? Online right now is absolute trash, i think one out of every 5 games is a decent connection. All these kids today torrenting 24/7.

4D however cleanly loses to 5D giving Noel a beefy combo, Tager can't use 4D as much as he likes to on other characters.

This strategy is just asking to get killed, he has so many ways around this I'll be surprised if Noel last 30 seconds. Definitely stay on the ground as he as several good ground to air options into magnetism pressure if you try to approach. 5B is your friend because it stuffs a lot of his normals and pokes at safer range, and you can 5b CH into 3c combo. Also not a projectile he can sledge or 6A through. Also try your best to not get magnetized, if so try your best to run away and not get caught in a pressure string or god forbid knocked down. 5a pressure him if you have to just to get magnetism off. 2B also very useful for keeping him honest, with 2c and 3c being projectiles, Tager is not afraid to block high all the time. 2B keeps him in check.

doing d.6d, d.6b, etc... after j.d builds more meter though, you lose only like 100 damage for like 5 or 7 more meter

22C does have more recovery along with 6C having longer startup, however it feels as if haida combos feel a good bit easier than before

hit means hit, as in the move connected and hit the opponent, 5C on block is not jc'able

at least a blocked 3c has some blockstun so you can rapid, a whiffed 214A does not this is all moot though because we're discussing how to use extremely high risk gimmicks in mixups, both options are terrible. If someone was stand blocking a nice fast 2b will net you a good 2k with little risk.

3c is 19(faster in cs?) frames 214a is 27, if they're gonna stand there and take the command grab, they'll stand there and take a 3c. Less risk(not really, but faster) much higher reward.
