C'mon, you guys are boring the crap outta me! Why is this thread so dead right now? I might have figured a way to stream without having to use a mega computer at the cost of quality, however on the flipside i just ordered some s-video cables for the ps2/3 that will greatly improve picture quality. Also anyone saying the stream is lagging or slow is a fucking liar, if you go back and watch the footage its smooth all the way through. So if the stream software is saying its not lagging im trusting it first so yall need to STFU. In other news I might not be getting my HRAP for a while longer, the shipping on those bitches is like several weeks!!!

Casual online players always say theres no lag online, any skilled player will jump online and tell you its fucking terrible compared to offline versus. My point? just because some people dont notice shit doesnt mean its not there.

Tim i was going over the stream footage and noticed your commentary is rather lacking when by yourself, its nothing but overstating whats obviously happening on the screen and a weak version of west coast commentary. Watch more fighting game vids instead of just norcal blazblue.

Holy shit, trying to stream in high quality is super hardware intensive. My quadcore desktop is using up a lot of power, moreso than it would if i was gaming! Crazy! The laptop i was gonna bring can't even begin to handle it, so definitely gonna have to use reptar's lol.

Me and Tim will try to make it before 7pm, so expect us around 8. We will schedule ourselves earlier in the event of another traffic incident.

Beginner mode kind of thins the line between special macros and other macros. Because infact there is single special/super button as well as pre-programmed single button combos when playing in beginner mode. The flipside is of course the huge handicap the bg mode forces you to have.

I'm thinking about more publicly advertising this weeks stream, I'll try to bring a more robust setup with better quality video and sound. What this means is we are also gonna have to enforce a rotation on the stream tv as well. We should also stream ggxxac as well on the ps2(not emulators). Anyone not wanting to play on stream can choose not to play on the tv. I'll be bringing a mic headset this time, if anyone else has a quality usb headset to provide is also welcome to bring one. We will need: A dedicated stream tv with composite(i assume tim will have this covered) A non stream tv A Ps2 with ggxxac A stream laptop(I will try to provide this one this time, but if anyone could bring a backup that'd be nice) Remember if you want to save your e-rep then mind what you say out loud while stream is running, otherwise it doesnt matter to me what you say live. But as a new rule beginning now: No K/J-pop or animu music on the PA/projector while STREAM IS RECORDING, any other kind of music thats agreeable is fine.

Corners I feel are more important than anything, most of the cast relies on knowing their relative position from the corner to do combos, training stage fucks that up completely

The macro rule in my experience generally has been widely ignored, most people don't seem to care about macros. Lots of BB players love macros, makes no difference to me

There are stages(like said volcano stage in SF4 and Fire stage in TvC) that literally make it impossible for some colorblind people to see whats going on.

I and many other people are big proponents on not playing on training mode stage, just like the volcano stage in SF4, everyone loses when that stage is picked.

Optic barrel is too slow, only use it if you know 214D is coming(which most of the time is kinda obvious). Super jump forward, back, or neutral and block to avoid losing a primer, Lamba has seriously weak pressure thats vulnerable to drives or jabs. If she throws another thats her mistake. Dont be afraid of her because you have no reason to. Don't overestimate the matchup it'll only give her that advantage.
