Apparently sold my copy of Marvel to a guy named Dante, lolwut

Alright If I may be serious or truthful for a second here: When I stream BBCS or go around and have discussion within the community I hear a lot of, "Boy I'm not very good or play this game all that seriously, but it sure looks pretty and thats why I play it." or "I play such and such character because they look so cool/kawaii/like some other awesome anime character." When I see or hear people say that, in my opinion its like why the hell are you playing with competitive people within a competitive community. That kind of attitude isn't gonna help anybody take the game seriously. Thats why I see the local community for games such as these die. DL community games lets face it has a rather weak community of live players. And secondly one of the most wanted character's that everyone wants to see in this game is Phoenix Wright. He's a motherfucking LAWYER, what the fuck can a LAWYER do in a FIGHTING GAME?! Ken is notably different from other shotos as he is mainly rushdown oriented with loads of frame traps and high damage Ryu can't touch. When people want PHOENIX WRIGHT over actual useful characters like Ken or Cammy, we get throw away fan service characters.

ROFL I love animu games personally, It just this specific subforum in particular makes me facepalm so hard. Every now and then ppl need to realize how idiotic some people's opinions really are. One of my top favorite SF characters is Ken, I will not take disrespect about him so lightly.

Probably not, the amount of effort going into recording is pretty much the same as streaming. Besides the only interesting parts would be top 3 which sp00ky will be streaming. Maybe a BB miracle will happen within the coming weeks.

Well I saw what i was expecting from DL about other games that are not anime, if its capcom and has anything to do with SF its instant hate. You guys speak volumes about the kind of people you are that play these games. Funny as much as you guys bash SRK, the people on there have an overall more open mind about fighting games. Stay anime guys! You guys can have your trash characters.

Alright guys FR14 is pretty much right around the corner and since the announcement that BBCS and GGAC will be streamed, I've seen almost no support for BlazBlue at all period. Over the last month I've noticed the community for BB declining and showing less and less interest in the game itself. Seeing as how I will now have to cover a good chunk of the internet costs for streaming I may cut BBCS for Friday and only stream GGAC on Saturday to save costs. The GG players are my primary supporters and donation fund so I will give the community time they deserve. The lack of any kind of interest from BB players really tells me that you guys are apathetic about the game and the community itself so there's little reason to spend the time and money to something that will go unnoticed. If you guys actually wanna see BlazBlue streamed on Friday show your support!

Just realized there's two weeks till Final Round and seeing as how BBCS is practically dead, I might cut streaming it to save money. The GG players seem to want it to happen to I might just focus on that. Honestly it seems like no one not at Final Round will miss it.

The fact remains that SF characters represent a small minority of the cast compared to how many xmen/marvel chars that are in the game all with the same playstyles and abilities. I know DL cares only for aesthetics over actual gameplay, but any more nonuseable characters is more of a waste characters really.

When people want "fun and exciting" new characters we essentially get throw away characters to appease the non competitive players. Look at Hakan, Juri, and Fuerte in SSF4. All have completely new and different playstyles that offer nothing to the game because they can't compete against the original world warriors. In the case with MvC3 we have 5-8 flying runaway characters that lay projectiles and traps across the screen. 4 Grapplers in a game where everyone is jumping/flying. 6 Xmen characters. And a character whose moveset consists of specials from other characters already in the game. Now compare that to only two shoto characters, one with substantially better playability than the other. I'd rather have another unoriginal character in a game full of unoriginal characters than one who looks new but will completely suck to the point of unplayability.

Or anime game fanboys have never played a versus game. Ken was the strongest shoto in MvC2 and had a godlike shoryuken assist. For low tiers he was way more useful than the crap that most low tier scrubs liked to play with. Ken has always been strong in most the games hes been in, but i guess having good characters in a game would be silly because that would mean it'd be cheap right?

Capcom failed to ship my CE last week so i had to buy another copy on release. My CE eventually came late friday night.

well in the event that I may not be able to room with eddie and his crew can we throw together around 5-6 ppl in one room before the rooms are all up?(probably are by now) edit: I honestly have a harder time keeping Chun Li alive than Phoenx. I'd really like to use chun, but its gonna be hard to have an offensive team with both her and phoenix.

I run a team of Chun/Morrigan/Phoenix already. Build five bars, unleash Phoenix to deal as much damage as possible and then clean up with Morrigan. Morrigan with twin super and xfactor is straight lulz.

Yo stayed up till 4am last night/this morning playing mvc3, still destroyed that econ test i had today. Shoulda went over to tech last night. Also figured out some 1.5mil instakill meterless combos with xf lvl3 D. Phoenix, 2mill using meter. Also setting traps after killing a character guarantees 20-25% damage on the next character if they come in blocking. For some reason XF D Phoenix's damage is more than tripled and allows her more combo opportunities in XF lvl3 compared to the rest of the cast. Regular D. Phoenix's damage output isn't nearly as good without XF. She can kill Sent in under 4 seconds flat.

I remembered i got an early econ test tomorrow and homework that needs to be done. Marvel isn't gonna help.

I find Ironman highly underrated, right now he's better than many of the more popular zoning/runaway characters yet no one is using him, plus he can 8way and fly. Hope you figure out sick shit with him.
