  1. Yes. It seems that they are not going the Capcom route of only flipping certain items and objects attached to the models.
  2. I request more hidden camera pictures of Sharon.
  3. Are opponents still repelled when you BS their projectiles?
  4. Wait! He's a hairstylist for black people now? (Sorry, couldn't resist).
  5. On a related note, anyone know if anyone's taken any photos or even some hidden cam video? All I've found so far was this.
  6. Mike, you don't mind if I merge some points as well as correct some spelling when I post this stuff on SRK's front page do you?
  7. I'd like to add that parries aren't exactly "low risk".
  8. I'd like to see what exactly they did to YRCs vs RRCs now that they only cost 25% meter, considering that Daisuke has stated that he didn't like how 25% meter options were seemingly more prevalent than 50% options. At the very least, I'm guessing that they'll have more pronounced differences in the amount of timeslow. That and further limit the number of moves that can be YRCed compared to those that could be FRCed. Actually, I believe that someone did say that PRCs during the last loketest were done during the recovery frames of whiffed moves.
  9. The manual still shows the darkened time delay background during the YRC, so it's probably still in. Though I'm guessing that it might be shorter for YRCs based on the meter cost.
  10. Nope. Not that one. Players were reporting that they were able to activate a purple "ringed" Roman Cancel during the first loketest.
  11. Apparently, they're teasing that an unannounced character will also be at the test. http://shoryuken.com/2013/10/25/next-guilty-gear-xrd-sign-location-tests-scheduled-for-november-2-4-i-no-and-axl-playable-unannounced-characters-possibly-available/
  12. MarkMan from MadCatz hinting at a possible Tournament Edition 2 stick for Xrd. https://twitter.com/MarkMan23/status/385950269663481857
  13. Anyone have a complete translation of what they're talking about in the interview at the start?
  14. Wait, where is this from? You're not talking about the stuff for the Pachink game are you?
  15. Relevant interview with Adelheid Stark. http://shoryuken.com/2013/09/09/frauding-me-softly-adelheid-stark-on-competitive-divekick/
  16. We compiled a bunch of week 1 vids on SRK. http://shoryuken.com/2013/09/10/dead-or-alive-5-ultimate-week-1-roundup-combo-videos-and-challenge-demonstrations/ Nope, they're actually quite different of you look closely (i.e. Hitomi is buffer than Lei Fang, Lisa has ghetto booty, Mila is almost bifauxnen, etc.).
  17. Yep, she's mostly the same save for the boots.
  18. Based on their most recent actions though, Sony exclusivity in Japan seems likely.
  19. Nanomachines... if not, then a wizard did it.
  20. Considering the amount of requests for Tengu in the DOA community, I figure it's gonna be him. Especially since we got Leon and Ein through the same manner (heavily requested by the community).
  21. Looks like I'mma be maining Rachel and going for them force techs. From what I hear, she's "Rachel tier" at the moment.
  22. Well, most players avoid having to play the critical stun game since they'd rather go for guaranteed, unholdable damage. Why do you think Sarah was top tier in vanilla - aside from very good frame data, she could launch easily without having to play the stun game.
  23. ST is just SF2 with meter. It's as stripped down as an FG can get without being Divekick. You're stuck with whatever options your character has, there are just about no universal options or subsystems to bail you out. If you're playing Honda and Ryu or O.Sagat starts fireball zoning, then that's it for you. It's the only game I know where 9:1s are considered acceptable since every character ends up having counters anyway. Try spamming our tip line to get it in. Just be sure to be nice and explain why you think it deserves to be on the front page. Chess is the better FG analogy since it provides more varied levels of space control.
