Done and thanks again. I put they all looked like midscreen combos so I put them under there. If that's not the case please correct me lol. Something I've noticed w/ SMP combos is that similar moves count as separate moves, such as the first 4 shots being separate from the 5th, 2[C] from 2C. Are there any other examples of moves like this? Also, what combos (both meterless and w/ meter) are people doing off of CH j.C (both on airborne and grounded opponents)? Meterless air-to-air I've been using CH j.C>5C>236B~D>dash 5C>IAD j.A>j.C>236A~D EDIT: and on the subject of 5D~D combos I got 5D~D>2C>236236D>214C>214D (214C hits)>236A~D (214D hits)>2[C]>5AA>5C>SMPx13>236A~D for 9.9k damage

You mean replacing 2A>5AA w/ 5AA>5C? That should work, can't test it myself atm though. (Being at work sucks >_<) And XDest, basically every move has potential usage in a SMP combo as long as using doesn't stop you from getting the 10 moves needed before using [236B~D]xN. EDIT: So I tried Cat's combo w/ Rikir's suggestion + also switched out 2B w/ 5B, making the full input (while cornered) 214AB~Ax5>236236D>214D>5AA>5C>236A~D>2[C]>5B>SMPx10>236A~D which does 7240 damage. Also it probably won't happen very often (if at all) in matches, but the fewer shots that actually hit at the beginning, the higher the damage. But do note that at least the last 2 shots must connect (the game considers the first 4 shots separate from the last 1 due to it's extra properties.) or else the combo will be missing 1 move. If you only have the last shot connect but confirm it into Mudoon then you just got to do 2A before 5AA (gets you 7254 damage, besides the added 2A the input after gunshots is the exact same as the previous combo).

The first post or 2 of this thread will get a nice big update with details on stuff like that + more combos in a day or 2. Still grinding and experimenting w/ stuff, plus just playing the game in general (this game is crack, lol). Be sure you're holding D as you do 236B for Naoto to cancel her Snipe stance asap. If you're doing that, then the problem is probably that you're doing the combo wrong. Anyways, 2A>5AA>2AB>236AB>236236D>214D>5B>236A~D>5C>SMPx11>236A~D gets 7418 damage. I wonder if you can get more than this off of a low starter?

Discuss the Shadow Labrys matchup here! Some notes: SLab's Persona is a wall that can protect SLab from full screen if you try to use bullets. 5C (if you know the Persona will get touched), j.C, and 2AB are strong enough to take away primers. 236236A silence super is strong, SLab's Persona being broken is even better. All she really has w/o her Persona is DP and j.B. Late teching can potentially mess up SLab's oki setups, especially j.A/command throw oki. SLab's oki setups include 5A (cow punch) IAD, 236C/D (mouth laser) IAD and high/low, j.A/command throw. If you don't late tech j.A/command throw oki, your options include gold bursting (meter for SMP!) or 214214A~C. Titanomachia's annoying. The Persona ground slam hits low, not high. Try air-throwing 8C-happy (cow uppercut) SLabs. You can jump back j.C SLab's 8C as the cow comes out of the ground, especially useful if the SLab tries to do it full screen. 2C (horn flames) has a huge horizontal hitbox. If the SLab is in Awakening, know that they might try Brutal Impact (axe super) if their DP whiffs/is blocked.

Unlocked (probably should have done that yesterday ) and did a quick update on the combo thread. BTW, what combos are people using for throw in the corner? Meterless I'm using Throw~C>5B>5C>236B~D>5C>236A~D. -

Finally got to play the game. Naoto's a lot of fun (as is the game in general), going to grind some more tomorrow. Also, shoutouts to Denpa repping Naoto well in SBO.
