So in the past few years, China has taken over as the dominant nation in DOTA. I never knew! But it's serious enough that not only has some rich kid bought a team with $3 million of his dad's cash, but videos of dota events in China have substantial crowds. I have to wonder, though, what is it about DOTA that has managed to strike a nerve in China? AFAIK, China isn't a WC3 or SC powerhouse, even though internet games and a >1 billion population would certainly enable a strong scene. Even before that major team purchase, the very top teams were full-on, salaried professionals. SC1 was dominated to such an extent by Korea that it's possible no other nation would ever catch up, and maybe that put a damper on people trying to break into that game professionally in China. Were any of the GG matches recorded? Even though it's been forever since I last played GG, I still want to see how Faust wins IN AMERICA.

Finished one run of Catherine. I have honestly no desire to play through the game again, in spite of all its endings. The boss levels are mostly really annoying. I'm going to youtube the rest of the endings.

The Deadpool self-kill was one of the funniest moments. I'm surprised the Deadpool player lost track of the teleport count... or maybe he thought he would survive it. Seems like Capcom released a lot of favourite characters (Mega Man aside) from the Capcom side, with Phoenix Wright, Vergil, and Strider. Red Arremer is a nice addition, and Nemesis with a rocket launcher sounds sweet.
