The reason your not at an advantage there is that nothing you can do "should" hit the opponent. What you can do is zone or set stuff up to do shit again. 5D and 236A fall in those categories, though I think going into 3C and then JCing would be the best option.

Well, it's not like we get punished, you can cancel into 5C or 3C, the problem is, that after doing that, you at a range where you've pretty much given up the advantage, and your back at midrange (which is admittedly very strong for Mu).

Actually, that 2C nerf isn't insubstantial, its not he end of the world or anything, but it does hurt us pretty bad in a few situations, most notably, meaty 2C and the 2C option select oki.

I know you can purple throw or 360B after Gadget, which is one of the best times to do it, people love to mash on stuff out of gadget. If you purple 360 grab them a few times they lay off that crap and you can play a honest mixup against them. Also, against some characters (mag'd) you and purple air throw in the corner at the right height, and if they tech get them with jD. Doesn't work anywhere near as well as with jin or bang, but some characters don't have good answers. But like AXIS said, NEVER make a habit of purple grabbing.

I want the screen to shake more when we land or get knocked down. If we gotta suck I don't want us to get ignored. Also, Tager should have a special win pose for winning with a 720, ala Bang when he gets a perfect.

Also, 5A>step>5A is better, and that was already pretty intimidating.

Actually, I gotta agree with Dacid on this one, we may have to adjust our timing a smidge, but +4 is better than +2, the loss of the mash isn't even that bad as we have a level 3 5B and great 2B that reverse beat all day. But yes, I am weary of the other shoe, it's going to drop, we just don't what's in it or when.

Making exceptions is fine if the match is good or warrants attention. I just don't think it would be a good idea to make posting random matches up here the norm. In your examples, you can vouch for the opponent, which is a big part of a worthwhile video. Either way, it's your thread and I trust you'll do fine whether you head my thoughts or not.

If it's not from a tournament, I would reserve that for teh critique thread, however good the match may be, there's a bit of illegitimacy to casuals and general online matches.

I like the new 5A change, I think it makes jab pressure more mentally frustrating for the other player (see Hakumen jab pressure), also it means that we can combo off an air hit 5A (non-CH) which is a big buff.
