  1. It depends on how long the combo was. Sometimes its better to do (RC)>dash>5D>22C, or (RC)>Dash3C>5D(1)>22C, or just (RC)>3C>22C. Experiment to find our which is best to cap off each combo. I actually kinda like both of them. The old art is more intimidating, and a bit more savage looking. Whereas the new one is more manly (probably because of the new square jaw), which suits Ragna better. He isn't a girly-man like Jin.
  2. I'm one of the top 3 (IMO). But I'm a bit reckless and often lazy, which leads to some humiliating defeats, but yeah. In all fairness, Seifuku and Fallout are probably better than me. Feel free to message me for a fight when ever, I'm usually game. My knowledge, probably exceeds my ability.

  3. Are you sure he didn't just fidget, because I'm pretty sure there are no CH frames on blocking...
  4. Well, sadly, I'm down in Carbondale, which is about as far away as I can be and still in be the same state as you. Also, at the risk of sounding like an idiot... who's Frankie?

  5. Dude, where you at? If you're nearby we should play sometime.

  6. Dacid is right, jin just isn't about the mixup, and his pressure is still quite solid. Quite frankly, you sound like you're saying that jin is a bad character in CS, and that simply isn't true. Jin is still very dangerous, he just has to take a bit more risk in everything he does than in CT. I won't defend litchi though, I have never been taken so much damage from a character with boobs before.
  7. I only 214D~B as a garbage anti-air. It works on characters with slower jump-ins, because they have to commit sooner. Most characters can punish the hell out of it on block, and you have to announce it by going into that stance. Really, it's just a bad habit when 2C, 4D, and jA, are all probably better. Not to mention just blocking. Also, Lambda D-swords are miles better than the chains (IMO).
  8. jB works really well against characters with tall hitboxes. See Tager, Ragna, Hakumen, and (maybe) Hazama.
  9. Depending on the character when I'm at mid range I will either dash back and zone to get back to long range, or Dash2A.
  10. The opponent can't burst during the whole thing though.
  11. If Tager is charging, go low. The recovery on that move is pretty big. A lot of player run in to trouble because they will poke mid first, Tager isn't affected by hit stun while charging, so that will get you 720'd. Besides you're Lambda, you can just wait and D him, or use that Act Parser that hits low, or 3C (maybe).
  12. You should get on XBL again soon. I haven't played you in forever, and I've gotten much better since then.

  13. 1) A more detailed notation for the HF>RC combo is: 214A>(RC)>dash>6D>(delay)jD>dash>5B>3C>22C. The version your doing isn't worth the heat 2)No trick, the timing isn't to hard once you get used to it. Practice. Also, on Rachel and Carl (in CT) you can only do 5B>D.ID, as opposed to the full follow-up 3)Don't do that combo, instead do: 6B>5C>6C>GH>5B>6A>(HJC)>jC>jD>(JC)>jD>D.ID it's much better. 4)It isn't too, slow really. You just have to make sure the opponent isn't expecting it. Learn what can cancel into it, and condition you opponent to be expecting something else. The reward for connecting 6B is huge. 5)Absolutely. However, RCing is a better habit because you can only super cancel normals. So you can't use BK to dodge a burst if the do it during a special.
  14. Thanks for the compliment. I tried to make it to bring focus to the discussion.

  15. 214D~B is not a reversal, and is terrible for punishing. However, ragna is a very easy character to Jayoku, if you IB you can do it pretty much anywhere. Otherwise any time you block 5C, or see him start on one of his specials, you can Jayoku him. Also, you 2A is really fast and if you notice him doing alot of 5B>2B,dash5B type pressure strings, you can mash out of the gaps. This applies to all characters vs Ragna, but, often times it's just best to wait him out, ragna has to take risks to maintain pressure (even in CS) so you just have to block well, and wait for him to back off, or try something risky.
  16. True Dat, but when won't you have meter as hazama?
  17. 6A is 22 frames, and Ressenga is a total of 25 (stance plus attack). In addition, the proration on 6A better than ressenga. So basically 6A is a much better overhead in most situations. The only advantages to Ressenga are that is covers a decent distance and it jumps over lows/throws.
  18. Because hazama's 2A is so fast and his 5B is +2, frame traps are really easy with Hazama. Vary the speed of you 2A mash. don't always mash it out as fast as you can, leave gaps not quite big enough to mash or jump out of. 5B is an instant frame trap, kind of like alot of jin's stuff. After 5B you can do another 5B, 2A, dash2A, and occasionally bait the DP/super. Remember to mix in your normal gattlings and Jump Cancels too, that way your opponent stays scared. Fear is a big part of pressure, so stay intimidating.
  19. This, This, and a thousand times this.
  20. His BnB's may be easy, but his big Jayoku combos are not. But your ragna analogy is pretty good. Actually applying all of his tools in a productive manner is more difficult than for many other characters.
  21. 6B is 25 frames, 3C is 14. So 3C is much faster.
  22. You probably aren't playing great hakumen players but I hear what your saying. I think it's one of those cases where, even though Haku has the tools to be a massive pain, it's harder for him. Hazama just has to do his usually stuff, while haku has to be on his toes to cut the chains and bait Jayoku. However, if you play one that can do that, it's a tough match.
  23. The unlimited version is the boss, not the normal version. Just like how unlimited Ragna is not vanilla ragna, and how regular nu is... well forget that last example. Anyways, you should know that Hakumen is one of Hazama's worst matchups if that is you plan. The way his sword cuts the snakes makes it very hard to keep him away and zone him with chains.
  24. I don't even know what to say about that match. I'm still stunned that it actually happened. That and the 720 buffer into 5a, holy crap.

  25. Yeah no problem, if DeathDealer wants it up. I didn't mean to sound sad, but if I'd rather avoid a bunch of matches of me screwing up getting on youTube. :)
