  3. It could work against her too, alo of times even now, you'll just barely touch with 2C or 3C, since Mu uses alot of high attack level attacks, the new barrier could push her out worse. Bang will benefit alot from the new defensive system.

  5. Kinda, but not so much, what it means is that our 5A now actually hurts to get hit by, combos are more stable, and 5C is about as good as Ragna's 5C (which I always thought it should have been).
  6. Also, if 5B>5C works on standing, that means that either 5B has in increase in level AND 5C is faster, or 5C is just way the fuck faster. I like both options.

  8. Every loketest all Tager players go through the 5 stages of grief. We are currently at, Bargaining.
  9. Chargeable sledge might not be so bad, especially if the proration on it is different. I'm thinking Fatal combo's, but there might be other situations where we could combo into a charged (partly or fully) sledge.
  10. Wall-bounding spark bolt is just horrible... They nerf the only tool we have to get in... And it wasn't even very good as it was.
  11. This just showed up: Mu - Tsunugui now wall bounds It ain't huge, but still neato. Like I said, cross-up DP all day.
  12. We didn't really get any real changes, just new toys. We don't even know if they really mean much of anything. I'm happy, because I think CS2 Mu is really close to perfect, and I wouldn't have changed much at all.
  13. I was poking through the frame data, and, provided there aren't other changes, an increased attack level on 5B doesn't really get us anything outside of the aforementioned 5B>5C on air hit. So I'm really hoping the 5C is faster. That move was always a touch slower than I would have preferred anyhow.
  14. Hmm... if 5B>5C works, that either means that 5B got an attack level buff or 5C got faster, both of those are pretty decent buffs. Also, the statement about the sledge combo suggest damage is better wich is a big deal for Tager. However, I'm still disappointed they didn't give us a way to stay on top of someone, even if it was bad like the old 6A Jump Cancel.

  16. Funny, midrange is where I'm most comfortable, but that could be because her midrange normals and tools are somewhat similar to Ragna's which is where I came from.

  19. Given that the changes, if any, will be known in two weeks, I wouldn't waste my breath on a list. Save your ire untill we here the results, and we inevitably get fucked over again.
  20. You can do the 6B juggles, but I just don't see the value in making them weird on some characters, it's not like a slightly taller 6B hitbox would change the utility of the move.
  21. I wouldn't wish for any damage or proration changes until we see what the other characters look like. My biggest Mu peeves have always been the 5B hitbox whiffing (as you mentioned), and the 6B hitbox making juggles wonky on some characters.
  22. Actually, it's -1 on block in CS2... so it's never punishable... ever.
  23. You can't really blame them to much for that, their editors don't play BB and the majority of their members can't move past that asinine "anime-game" label. The ironic thing is that MvC3 has more in common with BB then the other capcom games they promote. That said, SRK is the main site for FG's, so getting some good press there is a definite victory.

  25. The point of the front page, in my opinion, is to build community and interest, more so than be a resource for the hardcore. On those grounds I think the SRK front page is very well handled, a bigger problem is the lack of content appearing there for games like BB. There are two reasons for this, SRK hates BB, or there isn't much BB content. Quite frankly, we can only do anything about one of those points, by making more content. As for our own front page, it's fine, I guess. I link right past it because it rarely offers anything that isn't found in the forums behind it. There is good content there, but it doesn't really feel like it's own thing. As a result, the DL natives like me link past it, and the newbies don't care about the content on it.
