Wow, this looks hype! :o I would certainly like to go if my work schedule and money permits..! If my busy work schedule will permit me to get off for Season's Beatings, I would like to challenge the following players: DoomieJ Mr. Biscuits And possibly someone else first to 5 for 5 (in GG, of course), if that's is ok... I'm pretty bad, who plays 3 different characters, so I should be super-free!♥ I haven't played the game since EVO/don't have anyone to play against to gain match up experience... Also, this will be my first time MMing in Guilty Gear (I'm a Marvel player), so I will be a free 5, IF I go!♥

Ah! I'm sorry! It wasn't directed toward you ^^. I just grew abit tired of people saying Woshige+N-O=SBO 2010 winners. The outcome was alittle different than people expected (well, some), and I like the unexpected. Makes things more interesting IMO. I'm surprised to see N-O's team below 4th place as well. Perhaps They had to play Ogawa's team, and lost. Or, maybe Roi's Sol took out Woshige like in the vid : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qr8Z9Z4QVvo#t=4m18s and then the rest of Roi's team took out the rest of N-O's team? I don't like the way N-O taunts/mocks his opponents, so, I'm glad he didn't win this time.

I assume that my FB post may have came in handy :3. Anyway, I tried playing it last night (at around 8 or 9 pm), because I wanted to see if I could play Teyah. It ran slow (about 50-58 fps), but it was a steady slow... I guess our computer can't quite handle it. Although this is a step forward, I don't think it will ever be as great as #reload online-- and that's coming from someone who hates #reload online/doesn't even play it anymore. Kaillera has too many issues (I have tried it out in the past); things like stage slow-downs make some characters like Eddie for example, nearly unplayable... that, and the fact that this is the arcade version, not a pc version like #R, where you can actually select stages. But I hope this help GGXXAC get more popular, for those who can run it well.. I have to agree with Teyah on this one though, it is 2nd, or maybe even 3rd to Sharp Reload online...

Well not 100% sure we can go tonight, but we'll see if we have time... Well, yeah, that button layout is suicide. You see, we changed our key conifig to that of FFA/AI last night in AC, and we ended up looking like complete beginners... (kept hitting the wrong buttons, etc). We play on stick, but we're only used to the default button config in GG-- P S D K HS. This may be a stupid question, but is there any way to change the button config once you hook up your controller/stick? Just wondering! <3

Aloha. Sorry for the somewhat useless question... I was wondering what type of button mapping (I guess that's the right word to use) the Guilty Gear machine has at AI and FFA. Sorry for asking such a noobish question.. And like Bumguy said, not trying to spam your thread up. Bye for now.

Even though I'm not sure if I'm going, I vote for Guilty Gear singles over teams-- some of the better players might not want to team up with the weaker players, so alot of people may end up without partners... If they do decide to run GG teams as well, I prefer 2v2 over 3v3; I think 2v2 may give just about everyone an opportunity to assemble a full team. Also, Marvel & Guilty Gear on the same day=fail IMO... Marvel on friday, and Guilty Gear on saturday would be much better IMO.

Thanks for the full results. These results bring back memories of how I got eliminated by my 2 favorite characters to play against in Guilty Gear: Slayer and Potemkin! Slayer, with the ability to travel through Stun Edges with Big Bang Upper (lol, I should learn that match-up with my other 2 characters)! I will try to make sure I don't get hit by CH 6HS anymore... And who can forget about Potemkin, with his ability to make a comeback when you have 2/3 of health and he has 1/4 health, with a Slide Head unblockable>K (S) 2S Heat Knuckle combo that puts you in the corner, Giganter super into Slide Head unblockable>K (S) 2S Heat Knuckle x2(2nd Giganter unblockable combo dizzied) and you die! \o/ lol, surprisingly, I wasn't salty about any of it. Win or lose, Guilty Gear is always fun (most of the time) ^_^.

I honestly don't think anyone will be as bad as Dark Prince... That guy is such a gangsta wannabe; talks mad trash online (offline sometimes too), yet he cries like a baby IRL...

Yeah, we do play Marvel! And because Guilty Gear reminded us/looked alittle like Marvel to us, we decided to play it..! The only thing I sort of regret about learning Guilty Gear, is that we learned it/played it competitively too late (10-12 months ago)... The game died right before our very eyes... Oh, and we would never use you as Jo match-up experience-- because we played Jo the night before. GG's, you were so nice to us! <3 It was great to meet you too! I don't get to play fellow female gamers back where I live (except for my sister). ^_^ You were so sweet to me when we were playing casuals; and you said "Sorry, I play easy character!" before you played me, which I thought was kind of funny (you know alot about the game). You always said "sorry" when you did a damaging combo to me- which made me think about how I usually say the same thing... That was a very different experience to play you. It felt very refreshing to play such nice female gamer, with alot skill behind her arcade stick. I do have to apologize about how prick I played with Ky... You see, I don't know the Pot vs Ky match-up, so I saw まちゃぼー(Machabo) in a video play like that, so I tried to imitate that type of play-style.. I felt real guilty playing like that pretty quick, which is why I kept saying "sorry" to you as well... I thought you found Ky annoying, so I was going to play my other characters, Eddie and Testament, but you were so nice to me, that I would never dream of counter-matching you (not I would win for sure or anything)... I'm sorry if my Ky's play-style annoyed you, and if I frustrated you when you said "this character", then I apologize... But other than that, it was really fun playing you! I really like your kind attitude, and I see that you have so much potential! I'm very happy that you came to visit the us/to EVO, and I'm glad that you aggreed to take a picture with us! You seem to like playing Guilty Gear alot, Keep playing it and get better and better! ^_^ Lol, you should see my random select.! When I'm bored (and have free time), I sometimes play 5 or more different characters aside from Eddie, Ky and Testament. I feel that as long as people are still playing Guilty Gear, I can continue to improve (if I have time to practice lol)..! It would have been good to team up again, I was so surprised that you said we can team up again (I thought that would be like a one in a million chance, seeing as there were so many better players there); and of course because you have such a beastly Johnny! Yeah, hopefully we'll be able to play again!<3

I don't regret going to EVO/Caesars Palace at all. GG's to everyone I played. Caesars Palace is a truely beautiful place..! Oh, and a hot bubble bath+jacuzzi=Too good!♥

Good games to everyone I played at EVO... Guilty Gear was fun, like it always is..! I didn't play as many casuals as I wanted to, but that happens... This felt like a really rushed EVO. There were so many things I wanted to do but never got a chance... Maybe it was the fact that I barely made this EVO, and I had to drive back to AZ right after finals/had to work at 7am that morning... Shout outs... Jo: GG's, that corner pressure of yours is amazing! I tried to get out of it anyway possible, but you just kept making my gaurd flash and I eventually got hit... GG's, and thank you for letting us play hotel casuals, Jo. Bluenine: Never got to play you, but things happen... and, yes, my name is Ky-Sama, and I don't main Ky..! Moroha: If I'm not mistaken, this was the first time I ever got to play you. Your A.B.A is just as scary as I though she would be! I hope my Ky's play-style didn't annoy you too much. GG's... Testament players I fought in GG singles: Sorry, I can't remember your names right now... I was pretty nervous coming right out of Marvel pools (or maybe I was still in), and I had to fight Testament with no casuals or practice prior-- I hope I never have to play Marvel and GG right after eachother again... The guy who said "just when you though you've played against enough Testaments" or something like that, read my mind, sorry. GG's... Stone: Thanks for the casuals. I need Johnny match-up exp... And yeah, I tend to burst badly against Johnny because I lack match-up experience... Thanks for telling me the most common/easiest ways Johnny can bait a burst.. Despite you being rusty, you were pretty good! GG's. Stryfe & Aria: It was nice to see you two again. Stryfe made a great choice with moving on from a pad to stick, she also has improved very fast, and her I-No is even better than when she used a pad! Just work on your patience and consistency. I know GG is a hard game, and if your character has hard combos, then that makes things alittle more difficult. But practice makes perfect..! I thought that I would never be able to do Eddie negative edge combo's, etc (especially since I play 2 other characters), but I practiced and practiced, and eventually it paid off! Aria's Jam got much better than the last time I saw her. just work on your fundamentals, patience, and learn your match-ups alittle more. Too bad we never got to play Stryfe and you.. I was sad that you couldn't make it... We could have had a girl's night out... Anyway, Guilty Gear was not very hype this year, so you weren't missing much... And of course we were representing you at heart. Me and my sister Sol-Bumguy ♥ you as well T_T! I'm glad GG had a side tourney on saturday after all, and much thanks to the guy who ran it (Xie I think?)-- since 3v3 teams were canceled because the only one(s) who could have ran it were busy with pools, etc. Seeing GG so un-hype and so little people interested in it was very disapointing... But I guess this how the US GG scene/community is nowadays... Sad but true.. To anyone else I forgot, GG's...

I support this! Accent Core is such a great game, this would help keep the game alive. Although I have to admit that I'm not too big a fan of Guilty Gear online play from a past experience (i.e. GGXX: Sharp Reload)... But with a good netcode, it should be alright..!

Not to derail this thread or anything, but yes, I'm from Hawaii, went to Evo, played Guilty Gear and has a twin sister (lol). Also, despite my username, I don't main Ky .

I was always under the impression that button mashers were like F+ or E- tier, seeing as they'er not really playing the game, just pressing buttons, doing random commands and combos unintentionally ...

This new tier list... I didn't expect some characters to move around so much (so many in C tier)... And lol at Johnny never moving from bottom-tier since the game came out (no offense to Johnny players)...

(Ky vs. opponent) 6:4 - Bridget (not really sure on this one) 5.5:4.5 - Johnny <-according to BLEED) 5:5 - Sol, I-No, Dizzy, Order-Sol, Robo-Ky, Anji, May, Chipp (not really sure if Ky doesn't have an advantage against Chipp) 4.5:5.5 - Millia, Baiken 4:6 - Testament, Eddie, A.B.A, Potemkin, Axl, Venom, Slayer <-according to a japanese player, Slayer is supposedly 6:4) 3.5:6.5 - Jam, Zappa, Faust ^_^
