Started the thread for Guilty Conscience. Finally!

So, I'm going to throw another house party for Guilty Gear. In the days before BlazBlue and online play and such, this is how we did it, and it was, well, the best thing ever. General Info Location : 3127 New Highway 7 Santa Fe, TN 38482 Starts Friday, Dec 2nd 2PM - Sunday, Dec 4th as late as we want. I'd appreciate at 10 dollar venue donation to help offset the cost. If you know me, you know how I do it. It's looking like we'll be running about 12 setups. Planning on playing and teaching alot of Gear, but I'm sure there will be a little BB,UMVC3, SF4, 3S. We'll also try to set up NEC's stream on the 60 inch TV (laggy) It's just about playing the games we love. Non-stop all fucking weekend, and enjoying the unique social fun that the FG community is. Not much to say other than that. 1500 sq ft home in a rural setting. I'm 10 miles from the nearest city, just saying. Everyone is welcome to stay at the house. We'll have a few extra beds and multiple couches. It's advisable to bring extra pillows and blankets and your own towels, but I will provide everything I possibly can. I'm a hospitality pro, but taking care of yourself is encouraged. We have a big fridge, grill, microwave, and oven. There area few 'country stores' nearby, a few miles away that sell sammiches and snacks and such, and small country diners open during the day, but It's a 12 mile drive to McD's and Subway, so you may wanna bring some of your own chow. Make yourself at home kinda thing. I'm planning on doing the massive Saturday afternoon bbq as well. I'll go shopping Sat morning, everyone that wants to eat tosses in 5 or 10 bucks, and we cook up massive amounts of burgers, dogs, chicken, and all sorts of crazy ass buffet spread. We had enough to feed 45 people all day last time we did this shit. I'll probably have a keg of Bud Light on Saturday as well to go with it. It's a celebration, bitches. More updates to follow. I can handle about 25 guests total, so start letting me know if you are coming, and I'll start the list.

Volpe: Yes, you can make GG dummies tech. It's in there, I just can't remember where. I only feel old when around the younger FG crowd. I swear the way I look at games, and think of 'how to play 'is totally different from you young'uns. November kicks my ass, and I'll be out of town a few weekends, not sure I can make many/any gatherings.

I think you figured it out today, B. We are friends that play games. We are community. Some are stronger, some are weaker. We celebrate each others ebb and flow. I had more fun loosing to Volpe than I did parrying Lee's attempt to chip me out today. It's a celebration, bitches!

I'm playing Valk like I play Yun in 3SO. Great games. Dunno if this will help but if I see a barrier, I"m going to wolf throw, and even if you barrier, you won't get pushback on dashing wolf shenannigans, so less barrier unless I'm human form or doing AAAAA spam, and you wont' eat as many. Other than that, great counter strats. Fuck.... good games. Got my XBox back today too, for everyone else who wants to play some farewell CS2. I'm in shape to kill next event. So Chandler and Astaroth who I know will be playing, don't think it'll be easy guys. <3

Grim, you don't know any BNBs anyway, so it's perfect time to switch. I doubt I'll play Noel at all after that combo video. I'm almost playing Valk to the point where I switch the mixups all the time to make you spam A or to get out, and then you're mashing and you've fucked up. I can usually control Wolf form changes so that I can finally do whatever I feel like. So much fun. As for gettin' people out, I'll be bringing a few new players in early next year, maybe 4 or 5. Next year could be big. CSEX, Gear, Skullbitches whatever the fuck it is.... Blazblue: C-Section. Motherfucker only in the womb for what? 6 months. Hype for a premature baby? For the record, I like the new Valk, which ain't much different. Considering Big Pappa Clover and Taokaka as well, and I'll at least fuck with Noel. New Tager is soooo cool.

GG's Star. When you hit, it hurt, and you finish those combos. Very much enjoyed it. I may be able to play again this weekend. I play in the day sometimes for a few random hours. Look forward to the next round.

Star: Get it out bro. I feel ya about training hard, then having no outlet for it. I've gone thru it many times, sadly, so I really do understand where you are coming from. Seasons Beating would have been fun for us, and really good for you. Shame it can't happen. I got my PS3 back, so we can get some games in sometime if you feel like it. You didn't offend me, or anyone I think, so no need to lay low unless you just need too. All good in the MTN hood, as it were. I didn't think about college finals. I like the 9th weekend better, or it could be pushed back to the 17th weekend. Whatever works for the group. I hope MTN's players get to kick it and play serious games with all my other out of state friends. Ok, here is what I'm scheming for the winter. I wanna throw a weekend (Fri-Sun) event for all you fine fellows. Gaming house party weekend, tons of setups, designed with hospitality in mind. Basically what I did for the Guilty Gear scene years ago. I'm gonna try and line up Kyle and Kajoq, and other close to here friends to come down. Games likely to be played are Gear, Vampire, Blaz, 3SO, and maybe some MvC3. Early December weekend. Either the first or second (2nd or 9th). Think of it as a Dojo weekend. No tournament, just power leveling. I can't attend Season's Beatings. Sucks.
