Mashing hypers is awesome, at least, it was amazing in MVC2. Most of those you had to mash the shit out of and stop on frame to continue the combo. There was also mashing out of hypers, but stopping just in time to not attack and still block. Shit was great. Thinking on the 'get exposed' thing, we should collect tons of footage at the next MTN, and also, even with no MTN's I plan on seeing you guys over the break, and doing some hosting and shit, or throwing those hotel parties, and we take footage and shit as we play BlazBlue AND you guys learn Guilty Gear, then when we start back up next year, we have the video ready. The scene will be picking back up and so will we (Extend should be here, along with other things) but, this is Dustloop, so doing a double GG BB at that time will get lots more actual exposure and hype. Think of it as just-framing instead of spamming it. My thoughts anyway.

It would be great to see Azure again, he's really good and very chill. He could probably go at least 50/50 with me in gear, if not beat me. Jason (arcade owner) has to change plans at times, as the nature of the business, but he really always tries to deliver, I'd much prefer to support him if possible. Looking forward to the dinner talks, and for the record, I still like BB, and it's what I play when I have a chance. Well, I can't play 3SO, my Marvel disk died, and I'm not buying AE... so I guess I like BB. I still don't have a mic, but I'd love to play a set of BB with someone tonight. Pretty sure I can make it next weekend. With that said, I'd love to have a little 'future' of MTN meeting after the tourney at dinner or something. There are many cost effective and badass venue options I can think of, depending on what the core group wants things to evolve into, and i don't wanna see this thing die out. It's one of the few things I get to do for pure fun, and when you're ancient, that's priceless.

Good shit on the custom mix chandler. I don't yet care about Soul Caliber, but I'll give it a try. It's a game, and I play those things. My September is owned, If I'm lucky, I'll make it to the next MTNG, and I'm not usually lucky. Beer... I love this stuff.

Paps: I use sanwa 30mm screw in type, but I wrap them with teflon tape which kills all the vibration. It's why they have a dull sound compared to all the rest, and it stops the nuts from coming unscrewed.

My XBOX stick don't work with 3SO. In a ranked match, I don't have any kick buttons. I played one match w/ alex without knowing this. Guy sent me a 'good game' message. I gotta get this stick fixed.

In Second Impact, there was a technique called the Korean Duck Walk if iirc. You would tap forward, then down, the forward, then down, etc... and at the right rhythm, you would have a parry barrier (unless you hit forward on a low, or down on an overhead) Yeah, that fixed that shit. You also used to have down parries in the air as well as forward, and they would do different thing. 2I was more fun, 3S is a much better game. Naimat, link was awesome. Imma stop doing drugs nao.

I had a great time Saturday, I'm hoping I can hit the lab with Noel in honor of Star. As the old man gamer who has seen many come and go, it's never any different. Your presence will be missed, best of luck, sir. Milln as always a pleasure, the scene is so good because you, so thanks for all the hard work, and letting me disappear for smoke breaks all the time. As far as games, I had tight matches every time in tourney, which is just how I like it. Lee, your were on as usual, rock solid every time. Had fun getting wasted in casuals, I gotta get back to the level where I can push you, those were amazing matches! Astral-ing Pickle just pisses him off. He's really hard to beat when he's pissed. Phew, busy busy. Just found out that I'll be back in town in time for the next MTN, so count me in. Klien, I can give you a ride as well, if necessary. Working on plans for the house party, but I can't get them worked out yet. I'd be at Blazefest @ Milln' cept I'll be out of town yet again for that entire weekend and next week. I think I main Noel again. I don't know what's happening anymore.

I wanna be all old and salty about shit, but I'll just say I'm sorry I missed it. I just moved into a massive ass house. It's huge and nice. Long story short I can host about 20 people fairly comfortably for a Saturday and Sunday, have about 10 setups for games, and we can all party and play games, I can run the grill, keep us fed, etc. If this is something the community wants to do, I'll be happy to do my part. We can do whatever the fuck we want, really. I miss gaming parties so big you hang out just as much as you play, and you play a few hundred matches. Could be sweet. Just sayin'

That's crazy, I work with the cheerleaders from Martin, and do a bit of partying with them as well. Yeah man, we will have to get some games going soon.
