I think Gear should be ran as a full round robin Ranbat, every time. We've got the setups, and let it run all day, as the semi-casual tournament for a while. Make it cheap, and we all play it most of the day, should have time for everyone to get all thier matches in. Keep points and such, and we can always change to a standard tournament whenever. I figure that way, everyone has the most chance to improve as fast as possible.

When Gear is console released, I'll be running the SE-R Homecoming event within 30-60 days of it's release. I'm expecting that to be a 50+ person Gear only event. I would love to warm up with hosting an MTN event, if not regularly, at least once before hand. Things that I plan to offer at all events at the venue in columbia is overnight crash availability to anyone that attends, and that's covered with the venue fee, so game can go as late as anyone wants. Besides that, I've always focused on a hospitable setup with a large portion of gamer needs factored in. I mentioned a few months back about the potential of needing to unite the scenes, and this is the perfect oppurtunity, even if the Columbia venue isn't used. I think we need to make sure to get off the timetable of the surrounding states monthlies. Since there has to be a change, it's a good time to tweak things that have hindered growth in the past. Anyway, my .02 cents there.

I can get us the venue in Columbia, which is a venue with limitless potential. It's certainly the nicest facility we'll come across, but if the current Nashville scene isn't willing to make that drive, then it would be pointless. Location is 2494 Park Plus Drive, Columbia.
