Sure didn't sound like any question I ever heard, sounded more like a derisive comment. Stop swearing and racial slurring, people think less of you when you talk like that.

  2. Blade

Guess less, play more, comment nicer. Don't assume you know all there is to know about anything. Even I don't do that. True pros are humble.

  3. If you didn't ask rudely, then maybe I would've obliged you more. Saying something is 'retardedly slow and easy to react to' automatically assumes you KNOW something about a character... Instead of guessing with a comment like that, just say, I don't know how fast his 5D is...anyway Back on topic...what are those hit counter words?
  4. Skye, stop acting like you're every single GG player in the world and you have the reaction time of the gods...also, I said "easiest mixup" geez. Also, I wish people would stop assuming that who they're fighting is good at blocking everything, because they're not and never will be. It's called "mistakes". Also Ky's 5D isn't that slow...it's actually one of the better ones since it can cancel from other moves. But the POINT IS....it isn't just a launcher.
  5. No one plays Ky around here I guess....that was like...one of his easiest mixups. Charged Stun Edge into 5D, j.D into 5D, c.5S (CH) into 5D, j.214D into 5D, 6D>5D, TK j.236D into 5D....so many tricks. And don't get me started on the applications of Impossible Dust. Does anyone know what all the "Hit Counter Words" are? I saw Good, Great Viewtiful, and some others.
  6. I said this before, I'll say it again, if you don't like the changes, stick with version 1.02/1.03. But even then...I don't know how many loke-tests are left, but so far, any major nerfs I've seen have turned into potential buffs depending on the character in question. Ragna and Rachel got alot better from their last nerfing, that I saw. And Ragna was hit with the nerf bat pretty hard.
  7. I'm just gonna call MODOK "hoverchair wonder boy" from now on... >_>
  8. Well in any case, Strider's not here yet, so I'm not happy just yet.
  9. If I knew how to do that stuff, they'd be 10x better than that..

  10. I want pics of Modok or I won't believe he's in. Also false Magneto hype is false.
  11. Hacked as all Hell...this will never be on the PS3 version that's for sure.

  12. So should we be calling WoL "WoD" now...? Hehe.
  13. I really wanna punch half the X-Box Live players on this forum. I really do. Arrogant as fuck. No matter what I post I get :psyduck:'d anyway...fuck em all.

  14. Odd...there's no Valkenhayn Matchup Thread. I was gonna say that If you IB a few of the hits of his Sturm Wolf DD, the last hit can be Yukikaze'd.
  15. I never said I'd use it on competent Tagers. Just saying scrub Tagers who spam 360/Throw on block WILL fall for it. I love how you guys hang on everything I say like nothing I'd do would work on you in the history of EVER. Mind games have a habit of making people fall for dumb shit. That's all I'm saying.
  16. If you're dealing with Scrub Tagers who think it's safe to 360/Throw after everything...you could try jumping after blocked Hell's Fang (first part, unless it's IB'd)...oh sure, LOGICALLY this does not work (due to minus frames on block), but it's definitely a mind game that does work on random occasions, it's won me matches, I'm not even joking.
  17. This. Goddammit. >_< Also, setting the difficulty of the A.I. of Ragna/Jin to "50" and try reading its attacks as Haku-men. Not enough aggression to read moves, but just enough random pokes to piss you off, then... TIC THROW!
  18. While that's true, you can pretty much hit-confirm into Assist Combos with most characters, since Brave Attacks are usually multi-hits that can be delayed somewhat anyway. About the only ones that might have a hard time with Assists are the spell-casters and trap-setters, but then you could just use physical assists and followup with magic for all that.
  19. Sunnyday, I'm hoping you can help me, then. At some point I put up this url: http://mimeblade.oddigytitanium.com/Guilty_Gear/Guilty_Gear_Quote_Project/GGXXACP_Win_Quotes.txt The GGXXACP_Win_Quotes.txt file is long gone, as is my server space there for some dumb reason, and I can't seem to find that text. If you or someone else has a backup of it you saved on impulse, I'd appreciate getting a fresh copy for uploading and making a backup of.
  20. In the end it's just as he said, there's no point in speculating till the developers get a green light. As for me, I'm trying to convince Atlus to release Guilty Gear: The Missing Link on PSN Stateside.
  21. I don't know who this Pachi guy is, but my understanding of what Daisuke wanted the GG series to go towards has very little to do with Pachi's "vision" of where he wants it to go. Daisuke has already expressed his hatred for Soul Calibur type games, and there's been a few chuckles here and there with how Street Fighter IV has presented itself. Honestly I don't think Guilty Gear should go the route SSFIV has gone. Overture-styled games are one thing, and if he wanted to do battle simulations that more closely resembled the Crusades, that's fine and dandy. But the fighting games were extremely unique in that number one, they were based on Daisuke's design and vision of where it went and the story and everything that went with it. Number two...any input Daisuke had in latter games wasn't so much second hand as it was that they had a general idea where to go with the games updates and changes and just asked his advice here and there (kinda like how Hideo Kojima does his Metal Gear games). On top of this, how Guilty Gear ends up is highly dependant on how successfull BlazBlue becomes. A lot of the things they "tried" in Guilty Gear, were "revised" in BlazBlue and ramped up. Not only that, but the visuals, techniques, methodology, that we consider "common" for BlazBlue when it was developed, would be extremely renovative when applied to Guilty Gear. Story-telling methods, visual representation, vocal representation, so many other little things that they learned when developing BlazBlue...even the very concept of revising the in-game system in the form of "Version patches" is a new concept. I think the real issue is, too many people are thinking about GG from a gamer's standpoint and not a developer's standpoint. Sure, profit margin is one thing, and BB is the current money-maker. The very concept of Slashbacks, FRCs, etc, are going to seem outdated with time anyway. Instant Blocking and use of Barrier, as well as changing how Rapid Cancels actually work (hell they even work with Jin's projectiles). So many other things are coming to the fore in how a fighting game can be played, including gimmicks. Even complicated curse combinations are being regulated and simplified (imagine applying Arakune's curse combo system to Testament!). There's more than that that can be said, but the jist is this: what they think of GG now is still that: just a thought. Things change over time, and what you expect and hope for changes just as dramatically. Daisuke originally planned GG to be a 3D fighting game...but this got turned on its ear. So I'm not going to put much stock in a single employee's opinion, since Arc Sys works as a team anyway.
  22. Like I said, the Assist System looks to be on par with MVC3, if not more so. You can literally do a Brave Combo, send out an Assist to do a combo/attack, and link your HP attack with their brave attack. This could be more potentially dangerous than Brave>HP attacks (like Cloud's Omnislash ver. 5). Also I don't know if you can change your assist partner's equips or modify their attacks, but I assume you probably could to some extent.
  23. Unfortunately I don't have Skype nor do I know how to use it. I use AIM, Yahoo, MSN, Meebo etc.

  24. Pretty sure it's not me doing the hating....just them doing the trolling.
