I'm going to have to disagree with that punish only being twitch reaction FWIW, for TK moon, I'm actually averaging slightly over 16F and blocking 50% of the time, which is better than my reaction to 6k. Mostly because to me, TK moon is a much more blatant tell.

This is pretty awesome. After 20 tries: 21.2 with 45% success rate, no faults. Mind you, I am an old retired guy. Then again, you can relax and focus at a particular piece of space like a laser beam for the overhead in this situation while ignoring everything else as noise. That doesn't work in an actual match. Still, good exercise. EDIT: I would also add that if you have any background in older fighting games, (as in CvS2 and older), then yes, it is very possible to block or react to 10-15 frame situations given a blatant enough tell or the right circumstances. For example, good players can sweep Guile out of c. forward with Ryu c. RH in HF or ST pretty much on reaction in right situations, and that's a 14 frame situation, although the options for Guile at that range are pretty limited, so the Ryu player knows that there aren't that many alternatives he needs to worry about. OTOH, Millia's overhead can come out the blue from dozens of situations and is very ambiguous, so even though it's a 20 frame overhead, it's very hard to block on reaction as opposed to say, Robo Ky's standing dust, which is a much more blatant tell and much easier to block, but still 20 frames. That being said, anything below 10 frames is dubious, regardless of circumstances. That would imply you can punish Guile's crouching short on reaction. Only Tomo could do that.

GGs to everyone who showed up last Saturday. Somebody left their TV here. I don't know who it belongs to (I'm guessing Qwerty?), so unless someone claims it, I'm going to hook it up to my 1980s AV system for the lulz. Also I think I left my copy of Hot Shots Golf 3 in Aquas' PS3. That game is epic so I want that back :o

Y'all should grudge match, even with no money on the line. Just put it on the stream for the record. That way, we can keep this bookie bet of $2 against the $220 bet on Dacid winning. Even when I lose my 50c, it'll be worth it to watch. Hell, I'll even sponsor the match for $1 just to have this match happen on stream even though I even don't like BB, just so Qwerty can't use his "BUT I'M A BROKE JEW" excuse. Winner of the match gets my $1.

You do realize that I am essentially retired and pretty much only play for lulz, right? Hell, I forget all the FRC timings in between ranbats. Yet, I can still get massive win streaks on you until I get bored and start dicking around. And yes, sometimes you get the double zero when you spin the roulette wheel, especially when you don't practice at all. That's true for all competitive games. You still can. It's like, $220 versus $2 right now. Though if it's a best 2/3 match, 110-1 odds is not quite good enough. If it's just a one game match, then it's probably more than fair.

We should do it bookie style to induce people to bet on Qwerty then. Bet whatever you want on one side, and the winners get to split the other side's bets in proportion to what they bet. So, Orion's $100 and WBW's $20 versus WallJumpMan's $1.50. If we do it that way, then I'll throw in 50c on Qwerty to make it $120 versus $2, so it's currently at 60-1 odds. 60-1 is probably fair, since I got a 60+ game win streak off of Qwerty in GG before. Maybe we should charge a vig to donate to NCI as well :D

We should hold side bets on this too for added hype. I'll fade qwerty on pretty much anything.

You have to hit the JS really early (as in, you just assume that your 5D will hit kinda timing) and then immediately do the double jump motion into J. HS. The timing is pretty tight and I myself only get it like, 1 in 5. If I cared enough to practice, I'd probably get it but I'm pretty damn lazy and it's infinitely easier to just do 5D -> double jump -> j.HS which works almost as well and does only 6 pts less damage or so. You can also just do 5D -> JS -> FD cancel -> JHS, but if you're too close to them when you dust, your JHS will whiff sometimes for no reason. Despite his lack of real options, Ky ironically has three main styles of play because of the need to heavily rely on normals and yomi. You can play him as an all out maniacally aggressive blitz character while using your reflexes and yomi to hit the right button as needed(like Buppa, Lit, oniichandaisukiKy), or that Kobayashi active prevent/negative style that I mentioned (like Machabo, Hayashi, Roz though he sucks at it, myself as well though I suck at it) or a riskless and dry, rope-a-dope defensive wall (like Mitsutoshi, Machabo sometimes when he feels like being an asshole, SteveH). So he's rather free form in that regard.
