Milln, you need to get in touch with whoever/someone who works for the arcade ASAP. I'm surprised no one from Game Galaxy posted here yet. I was talking with a guy who works there when Billy, Naimat, and a couple other guys were there to check out SSFIVAE, and from my understanding they only knew what to do regarding the staging room before they had all those arcade machines there. In fact, the website still shows $5 as the venue fee, so I'm really hoping we can still get the venue.

I made a severely bad impression of how many Astrals I get in the last tournament. I'll make sure to work on that for this one. :3 And I'd be more than willing to pay for the bigger venue. It's SO worth it to have that much more room with friendlies going on at the same time.

Hey guys, sorry I don't have the videos up yet. I've been busy helping clean the house and get Halloween decorations set up today. My family decided to wait until today to start since I was gone yesterday, so there was quite a bit to do. XD When I had the chances, I've been importing and editing the videos (there were a few instances of button checking and dashboarding :P), and they're all ready to go now. Depending on how long it takes Youtube to put these things up (it's looking to be 40 minutes for a 9 minute video right now... :/) they should be up by tonight. I'm not sure I referred to everyone correctly/what they prefer to be called, and I don't want some random Youtube commenter saying "you called me _____ and I actually go by assmunch" or something. XP There are a few videos where you might notice a slight "hiccup" in video and a more prominent one in audio. Those are sections where I edited out button checks/dashboarding- it's not my capture card. And of course, since we were playing on three T.V.s, I was only able to capture footage from one of them. Thankfully, the Loser's Quarter Finals, Loser's Semi Finals, and Finals were played on it so I have those, but most other matches are kind of random. :3 Anyway, hope you all enjoy them once they get up, and I'm looking forward to the next time this rolls around! Well, there's still one possibility for recording on my end- my dad's laptop. Granted, it would take some convincing to bring it considering it's his work laptop, and its specs are only slightly better than mine. But I'll give it a try tomorrow and see how it records. If it works all right and he lets me, I'd be more than grateful. X3

Hey guys, things aren't going as smoothly as I'd hoped with the Dazzle Plus HD. It's still dropping frames everywhere, and I'm beginning to think it's my laptop. I'm defragmenting now in hopes it helps, but I'm doubtful. Hopefully it'll all be fixed before the tournament. If not, if any of you all have a laptop that has better system specs than one with AMD Turion x2 2.2 GHz, 4 GB RAM that you'd be willing to volunteer for recording, that'd be really cool. Also, if you guys want to have two set-ups for recording, I'm still looking for someone with a Firewire-enabled computer. Most Macbooks are enabled with them, and iMovie works fine with the Firewire Dazzle I have. I'd imagine PC laptops would work fine, too, but I haven't had any personal experience with one. As for the actual tourney, I'm REALLY looking forward to it! Can't wait to see what kind of competition Tennessee offers live! Less than a week away! :D

Once again, good news and bad news, everyone. Good news: I finally got Pinnacle Studio installed on my laptop, and my new laptop charger. My old one fried, but I didn't mention it because I realize this isn't my blog. >_> Bad news: The frame rate is GOD AWFUL. Like... Inexcusably so. I tried recording a bit last night and out of the 30-ish seconds I recorded, it lost 600-something frames. :/ So I need to look into doing some maintenance on it, I suppose. Hopefully it'll be 100% by the time the tournament rolls around.

Good news and bad news: Good news- I got my Dazzle HD and the necessary cables today. :D Bad news- I just found out there's something wrong with my computer that won't let .exe programs install anything. D: So I've got all the hardware set up, but I can't install Studio 14 (recording software) using the included disk. I'm looking into finding a complete copy somewhere, and I definitely should be able to find a working one or get the issue resolved before the tourney. There's just like a 1% chance I won't and I won't, so I wouldn't be able to use my computer to record at the tournament. I'll keep you all posted.

Oh yeah. Forgot about the cabinet. :P I'm not very good with a fight stick, though. And by not very good, I mean I'll get brutally destroyed, but it'll be fun pretending to know how to use the stick against people who know how to play GG hardcore. :3

I love you Milln. So much. It's going to take a LOT to keep me from this. I've actually got a Dazzle HD on the way from Amazon, and I plan on doing quite a bit of uploading with it. I've also got a (useless to me) Dazzle with Firewire instead of USB. Needless to say I can bring the Dazzle HD and my laptop so we can record matches and upload them later, and if anyone has a laptop enabled with Firewire, we can record *gasp* more than one at a time. :P I'll bring my 360 with Makoto/Valkenhayn and all the color DLC on it, my wired controller/two wireless/one Charge and Play Cable, and I'll try to unlock all the Unlimited content before the tournament (in case we get some friendlies going). I'll look into bringing a T.V., but I don't think I'll be able to. I'll also be buying a Cross Battle adapter in the event I end up playing on a PS3. I've been considering buying CS for the PS3 anyway. :3 Man, I'm hyped for this. Looking forward to seeing you all there. :D EDIT: Also, I'll be sending all of you who have XBL Friend Requests later tomorrow if/when I get the chance. Hope to play some of you online. :]

Of course, that sounds much easier if you have Photoshop. But I'm a poor college student, so I wouldn't know. :P

Are you KIDDING? There's a MUCH easier way to do it. Open up GIMP, use the top right tool in the menu (Select by Color), select the color you want to replace, use the color wheel or whatever to select the color you want to add, then drag and drop that color on top of the old color. Boom.

Probably not old enough to warrant another post, but it's still the best sprite edit I've done. Say hello to Valkenhype.

If you did a little promoting on GameFAQs, I'm sure we could have enough to fill a stream and a tourney.

Once again, I'm kind of a noob when it comes to this stuff, but I gave it a shot. If anyone wants to do better, I wouldn't be offended.
