  1. Oh, and LastStar, check your e-mail. I'm going to be sending you details about the PSP component cables shortly.
  2. What's up guys, sorry I haven't posted in so long. I've been pretty freaking busy, but I've made time for editing videos. :D I'm very, very close to being done, and all I need to do now is export and upload them individually (thank god). Are you guys still interested in them? Because I know it sucks having to wait this long, and I may not be able to get them all up until after this next MTN... But I know what I'm NOT going to be doing tomorrow, and it's practicing Blazblue. >:/ If it tells you how busy I've been, I was going through the things I normally bring to MTN to get ahead in packing some things and make note of what I need to find. Guess what? I'm missing my Blazblue disk. T_T I'm sure it's related to the fact I can't find my MvC3 case, either, because I vaguely recall slapping it inside the MvC3 case when I was swapping them from my 360. So if any of you have found yourself with more than one MvC3 case and an extra copy of CS, I'd really, really appreciate it if I could have it back. It's an honest mistake, so I wouldn't be angry at all... I can guarantee it's going to effect my performance at the last CS1 MTN unless I can figure something out though. XD
  3. You can't be worse than me, Doromac. :P I'm working on editing the matches right now, but my computer's making everything hard again. I thought AVS Video Editor was going to be less demanding of my computer, yet it's been sitting here trying to open the MTNBB4 Project here for ten minutes. If it keeps giving me problems, I'll borrow my dad's computer once he gets home and edit it on his. Sorry again for the late videos being late, you all.
  4. Still waiting for some videos to pop up so I can format mine appropriately. That or just tell me what you want me to do, Milln. :3 Also, here are a few deals you guys might be interested in: Continuum Shift PS3 for $13 used (BILLY)- http://www.gamestop.com/ps3/games/blazblue-continuum-shift/77556 Arcana Heart 3 PS3 (PAL, pre-order ships June 24) for $29 shipped- http://www.thehut.com/games/platforms/ps3/arcana-heart-3/10310289.html?affil=BUYAT Arcana Heart 3 360 (Same as PS3, *MIGHT* not be region-free) for $29 shipped- http://www.thehut.com/elysium.search?search=Arcana+Heart+3
  5. Haha, don't hate me just yet guys. I've been working on them. :P And by working on them, I mean I've got the commentary synced up with all the video and you can hear most of it fine, but I don't have segments cut out. Exporting the video with the commentary on top took just under seven hours. I'm not even joking. >_> Using the school computers didn't/isn't going to work out, either. The computer I ran the tests on was in a computer lab for (and I tested it during) my Computer Applications for Business class. Apparently, I can't use the computers in the library for the same purpose, since those won't run/install foreign programs, and I can't be in the one lab unless I'm in there for a class. Ugh. Still, it won't be a problem if I have to cut these into segments. I've really just been waiting for Doromac to upload his so I can format them similarly, since I didn't want to spend a bunch of time editing them if he's not going to, or vice versa. :3 Again, I apologize for taking so long.
  6. Me either, really. I think it's a way of getting "online" with a PSP without having a PS3, but I don't know any of the details. PS3 ad-hoc seems to be the best option. If you wanna add me, my PS3 I.D. is Jackie_Chandler. You might have to help me with some of the more technical stuff, since this'll be my first time making use of PS3/PSP ad-hoc. :P I'll try to be on a bit this weekend, but I've got a local Mahvel tourney to attend and videos to edit, so let me know when you're available and I'll try to be on then. Sorry, I wasn't/am not trying to 1-Up you in regards to practice. Even though I might have an upper hand in combos, you'll definitely know better approach options and how to play her better in general when you pick the game up. :3 Looking forward to you getting the game, especially if it's in time for the next tourney. Assuming CS2 for consoles isn't out by then (which I'm assuming it isn't, since we haven't heard any news about the patch at all), CS2 on big screen TVs would be really hype. Keep me updated on your game-acquiring situation. :D
  7. For one thing, being combo-oriented is never a bad thing. The video was supposed to show that she's flexible with her combos, very fast-paced, and has quite a bit of utility at her disposal. You can't argue that because of her enormous combo potential (especially with her Drive), she's one-dimensional. That's like saying Arakune's one-dimensional because he revolves around getting curse, Tager's one-dimensional because he revolves around grabbing, or Lambda's one-dimensional because she revolves around zoning. If you're going to say Noel's brain dead for being oriented around combos, you might as well just call the entire cast of Blazblue one-dimensional for having a strong point players base their playing styles off of. In fairness, I haven't seen much of what Bang can do in CS2. I've only seen a bit of gameplay of his, and I've seen zero combo videos. I just don't understand why all the Noel hate. :P
  8. Not as free as CS2 Bang. Ba-zing! Honestly though, I don't even know where to start pointing out what's wrong with those points. Instead, I'm just gonna link this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nG5q7prOgPo
  9. Is Patrick going? Maybe you could get a ride with him. If not, I understand, especially if you've got schoolwork to do. Very sad? Why? I'm not dropping Ragna for her, and she was my sub in CS, too... She just plays a lot differently, thus my wanting to learn her. :P I'm not sure exactly of the tiers, but from what I've seen, she's at LEAST low S tier. She's so much better this time around. As for CSII, yeah, I imported it. It was worth every penny. :3 And if you'd like, I could just mail that cable to you or something. Next tourney IS a bit of a ways away, and I figure it may give you some time to practice. Then if you can bring it to the April tourney, we could play some games and everyone could watch on the TV. Sounds awesome, right? :] Just let me know what you wanna do. Holy shit... Did you see what he was doing with his TONGUE?... He must be popular with the ladies. :P
  10. Yikes. That's what you get for putting down science. Seriously though, hope you're doing better. Sorry to hear that. :/ I dunno if I'll be able to make it, actually... It's such a far drive... :P (I could actually walk there if I had to. It's not far away at all.) I'll shoot Billy a text to see what his situation is. The more from Antioch we get down here in Cookeville, the better. :D And hey, any of you have BBCSII PSP? I got my copy in today and was wondering if any of you with PS3s/X-Link Kai wanted to try some online. P.S. New Ragna is FUN. P.P.S. I'm definitely going to learn Noel in CSII. She has arguably the best Astral comboing potential in the game, and I was messing around and found she can gatling 6C -> 2C -> 5C -> 6B -> 3C. It doesn't combo, but holy shit that's a good blockstring IMO. P.P.P.S. Billy said he probably wouldn't be able to make it. :[
  11. I deleted them by accident. Just kidding. :3 I haven't had a lot of time to mess with them (I've had two tests, two quizzes, and a project due this week) but I'll make sure to swing by the library after classes so I can play around with the footage. I'll definitely have some up by Saturday, but depending on how long it takes school computers to process these things, I may or may not get a LOT of stuff up. I'll keep you guys updated.
  12. That's how we've been doing it. You probably wouldn't have realized it with how little I've done with the account though. : P And if the limit's totally gone, that would be awesome. I might try uploading the whole thing this afternoon and see how it goes. If that's the case, I'll include time stamps in the description so you can skip to certain people's fights.
  13. ... I thought I was being rewarded for being there so long/having so many views/uploaded videos/etc. ;_; That makes things easier no matter what. I'm sure I could make the titles work with whatever you guys pick, though.
  14. Sorry for being late on the shout-outs guys, I've been terribly busy. These are in no particular order. Milln: Fantastic job with the tourney as always. I never get tired of you giving me crap about stuff. :3 The only thing I'm more impressed than your tourney-organizing skills is your Come On Baby high score. I want to watch you next time you play it. :P Eshi: You're scary. Seriously, SERIOUSLY scary. In a good way. I've never faced/seen an opponent like you in real life, who can pick up on an opponent's patterns and playstyle in one match and proceed to lay the smackdown on them the rest of their life. It's awesome. Keep up the awesome work. :D Astaroth: Yeah, we never got to play at all. Sadzorz. :/ I have a feeling I would've gotten annihilated in either game I played you at, though, if it makes you feel any better knowing I wouldn't have put up much of a fight. XP I'll be sure to practice before next tournament to give you a fair fight. Midnight: You know, I think we give you too much crap. You were too cool about the aftermath of you and Astaroth's fight (especially with P5 all in your face, haha). I gained a lot of respect for you not debating the loss or the shit everyone was giving you. Keep up the good work, man. Hope I can give you more of a match next time. :] (BTW, I'll connect my Astrals next time. No whiffing allowed, especially if given the opportunity against Eshi. :3) Mr. Pickle: These. Commentaries. I love them so much. :D Really, there have already been a few times when I was working on school-related things I decided "you know, I think I'll listen to the commentary and work at the same time." Turns out laughing and concentrating don't go hand in hand. :P Looking forward to commentary from the next MTN. LastStarSaviour (and friends): We didn't get in any matches either, did we? Sad face. :[ It's always fun fighting your Noel, LastStar. I'll try to be on PS3 occasionally so I can get some matches in with you and your friends. :] EnviousModel: You're the Rachel player, right? It's awesome to see someone (who isn't Midnight) who knows what they're doing with her. I was seriously impressed in our match. I hope you consider maining her in CSII, as well. ;D Doromac: I was looking forward to playing your Valk. Was sad when I didn't get to face someone with more broken combos than Ragna. :[ Still, it was cool talking with you and playing you at casuals in Mahvel, and thanks again for not leaving all the recording to me. :3 Papstr: Dang it Papstr, start getting placed in brackets with me. I love Astrali- I mean, playing your Ragna. :D Really though, I haven't played your Ragna in a while. I wanna see how you've improved. If we get the chance next time, I wanna get some casuals. :] P5: WAKE UP EARLIER SO YOU CAN PARTICIPATE NEXT TIME GRRRRRRR. I had to make an hour and a half drive and I was... "On time." >_> Volpe: I wanted to fight you, too. I don't face hardly any Haku-mens. It's one of my favorite characters to face as Ragna. :P Better get in some casuals at least next time. Naimat: I was really happy you were able to show up during the Mahvel tourney, although it would have been cool to have you in the tournament, or at least get some BB casuals in. You better be able to make it next time. MTNBangPlayers. :P Grimstar: Sorry you weren't able to make it at all due to work, man. You better go ahead and ask for the next MTN off. I'm not taking any excuses next time. ;3 Plus, I need to play you at Pogeymanz. And we're doing that shit face to face, not over any internet shit. That's right- we can play fighting games online, but not turn-based RPGs. Hope you're cool with that. :D (I really just need time to work on my team) ANYWAY. Tad: Dang it Tad, I can't remember why you weren't able to make it, but I expect a 25 page written apology by next MTN as to why you weren't there. >:/ Really, sorry you couldn't make it, and sorry I couldn't remember why if you told us. Really hope you can make it next time. :D Anyone I may have forgotten: Really sorry I forgot you. Yell at me for forgetting you and I'll give you a nice individual shoutout. :P Regarding the editing: (Don't worry, I'm not gonna say it's not gonna happen) I hate my computer. It sucks. I've actually resorted to using school computers between/after classes for editing these videos over my laptop. It's that bad. >_>; But I'm making progress. Commentary's a bit of a pain in the ass, but I think I'm editing these in at all the right times. The occasional sounds from the T.V. making it into the mic make it a lot easier, I have to admit. Glad those are there. Also, I want to give you guys some choice on this. Pickle (and whoever else managed to get a hold of the mic)'s commentary between matches and stuff is actually pretty funny, and you guys might enjoy it. The problem is that there are gaps between matches and stuff at times, and I don't have the patience to edit out parts of the commentary that may be drier when there aren't matches going on. So would you guys rather have: A. Only the matches with commentary as uploaded videos, or B. Most of, if not all the footage I recorded with the commentary over it cut into 10 minute segments? I need to know what you guys think so I can start editing appropriately. Thanks in advance guys. Oh, and one more thing: Expect BBCSII PSP footage around the internet for... *Ahem* Reasons. >_>
  15. I'll be heading out around 10, so expect me on the venue at around 11:30-11:45. Like MTN2, I'll bring two laptops and two recording devices. And this time, can we have the H.D. recording device on the H.D. T.V. the hype matches (_____ finals) take place on? I promise I'll get edited videos to you guys this time. :3
  16. Similar situation here, except I don't think I'm all that at Mahvel and I haven't really practiced Blazblue in about a month. :/ Which begs the question, WTF are you all? I expected a bunch of you to be online practicing for this shiz, and I don't see anyone. :[
  17. That's AMAZING. Way to go Milln. I'll try to get some extra Astrals for the cameras.
  18. First Naimat, then Billy, and now Tad? It's because I'm showing up, isn't it? D: Who's next to drop out? Milln? ;_; On a brighter note, turns out I'll be bringing someone from Cookietown who's going to be playing in the Mahvel tournament. He's pretty good, so you better watch out. :3
  19. *Beats Sentinel with Wesker, taunts* Complete. Sentinel. Neutralization. Epic win Milln.
  20. Naimat, you were totally right about MvC3 killing fighting game fundamentals. I suck at Blazblue now. ;_; I'm 100% guaranteed to be in Antioch on the 26th, though. Sorry for being so inactive, guys, and I promise I'll get edited videos out to you this time. <:3
  21. I'd certainly give it a try if you did. I've been wanting to give Hisoutensoku a try after finding out about it recently, and it looks very similar.
  22. Is the Marn combo L -> M -> H -> S -> Jump Cancel -> j.M -> j.M -> j.H -> QCF j.L -> H -> S -> Jump Cancel -> j.M -> j.M -> Double Jump -> j.M -> j.H. -> QCF j.H -> QCB L -> Add H -> Million Dollar Jackpot? If so... *Whistles innocently*
  23. Guys, I'm in Astral withdrawal. I don't think I've got a single one since last tourney. D: March 26th... I've got some catching up to do then. :3 EDIT: Also, I really need to face some of you guys at MvC3. I've only faced Astaroth as of yet and well... He definitely won the tourney for a reason. >_> I really just wanna see if I could hold my own on March 26th in a game that isn't BB.
