I don't want to think of you mashing 3C in a corner as an oki game =o Crazy scary! I was only up for Makoto, Akuma and Juri trials. I can't get Mak's #24 trial. Hayate canceling is harder than I expected. Some of Akuma's new trials are pretty retarded too lol. And I am prepared for the scissor kick trap. Most Bison's were always pretty scrubby, so I don't mind getting my ass handed to me. Mainly when Makoto doesn't seem like she'll be a walk in the park to master.

I get my SSF4 tonight at midnight, so after classes at 6pm, I'm going to nap until midnight. The stick takes a bit. I pretty much went straight into using a stick and was only on a pad for maybe a month or two. I can't even imagine doing combos on a pad. Seems so... unnatural. And dirty. I'll have to send your brother a friend invite so he can play against me and Rathi when we get into it. Sherwin or something? Sherin? Side project was allright, already looking at a 2nd attempt but SSF4 and EVO is like "play meeee"

If I go for the air saber cancel routine for zoning, it means I'm really desperate to keep you out. This isn't a problem in CS because you won't be losing primers from D swords, so you can normally just wait it out for a chance at their fuck up or they pushed themselves into a corner. But like you said, you can 623A and get through the j2D sword but the positioning is pretty tight and you'll just be throw back into the zoning game if you get clipped and take a j214D. I don't know how people are going to play Lambda here in the States, but they can't Act Parcer backwards anymore. So, if they move forward, they're closer to you and your goal of raping them. We'll have to practice some of this. It'll help us both.

I would stick to 2A jabs for confirming. You'll be able to recover if they try to do a 632146D reversal. Plus Haku's jabs are fast enough to recover and 623A dash at them if they tech backward. Or if you're good on reactions then yeah, 6C > shippu is a great choice. If you got time, I can get online and we can try some things out

One combo I think you should look at is Throw > 236A > 623A > 2C > j2C > air dash > j2C. It's 2 stars off a throw and pushes them farther into a corner than Throw > 236A > 6C. The timing is a bit retarded IMO, but you basically treat it like a Tsubaki combo and just do 236A 623A right after eachother. No waiting.

However, I think sitting in the dead zone of Nu is the best when I fight Nu as Haku. Nu normally will just try to zone, so you can expect a tech roll backward if you're deadzone distance away on her wake up. With this in mind, you can IAD on their tech backward and likely be able to land a jC/jB into whatever. Or maybe even catch them for an air grab. It's kind of risky because you can get caught by a 2D if they're sword spammers. So, if you're deadzone distance, you might want to just 623A at them. As Haku, you need to capitalize on any chance of damage against Nu. You basically need 1 poke and 2 combos to win this fight. Don't burn your stars unless you have like 6+.

Nu has no DP, so she can only tech or neutral tech to be completely safe against oki games. Rolling is a very rare option and is generally only safe against Haku or Tager (teching AWAY from him). Haku can normally 2A at Nu's wake up and be entirely safe, even moreso safe because a lot of scrubs would be mashing 2C and get CH'd by your 2A. However, like I said before, online is gay shit and I have been reversal'd by 2C on Nu wake ups when I was mashing 2A at them on Nu's wake up. So, it's pretty situational and depends on how you feel like approaching it.

EVO eh... Are you taking part or anything? I'll be rooting for your Haku if so =p You can be online and fail in front of the whole world! Also, just play SSF4 and you'll hear from me all the time. CS is taking too long to be released. And I don't really think I'm going to have to adjust my playstyle with Haku and Lambda much aside from combo usage. I don't think it'll be a hard transition.
