  1. Might be able to go now thanks to a new schedule change. Lack transportation however.
  2. Finally managed to find the vids from my last tourney and would like some feedback. Apologies for the stream format but it's all I could find. http://www.twitch.tv/xiei/b/317998703 00:35:00 vs. Rachel 01:29:00 face my true self 02:52:00 vs. Arakune 03:00:30 vs. Tao 03:29:00 vs. Platinum
  3. 2PM start time makes me a sad panda, but I'll try anyway to show up as early as possible.
  4. In the rare case I do have a certain someone bring a copy of Extend over. PSN: Raptor3789 Location: SoCal Open to Requests: Yes
  5. Sorry I couldnt show up even though I said I would, something came up at the last second. I'll try to make the next sessions though.
  6. I'm a horrible Noel player since I can't use drive very well. I need to spam more D's.
  7. If you are having 5C come out instead of 6C, relax and watch over your inputs. Since we are trained to micro-dash with 6C, chances are you are pressing C too soon so it would be like 44C6. You don't have to be fast to catch them, but not too slow either. Something that helped me is to have those inputs seperate, like instead 4,4,6C, you can do 4,4,6,C. To be specific it would be like 4,4,6(hold), C. If 6C hits but the second part whiffs due to your opponent being too close to the ground, a simple 236A can launch high enough for another 6C>(part 2). Edited: for clarification
  8. I believe its hitbox oriented. Relius and Jin (I'm sure theres more just havent tested it yet), have a small falling hitbox horizontal wise so 22B would simply brush past them.
  9. GG's to everyone yesterday. I really need to work on my hitconfirms.
  10. Match Up Ranking: To Be Discussed Recommended Playstyle: To Be Discussed Your Best Tools: To Be Discussed General Strategy: To Be Discussed Has A DP?: Zip. Brio might count since it has a very fast start-up, but can be stopped if you hit Carl or make him block. Oh and it costs Nirvana meter hur hur. Has A DP With Heat?: Gear Super (632146C) -Once activated, the giant gear will stay there for the full duration regardless if Carl gets hit or not. Nirvana can still do things during the animation. Things To Look Out For: To Be Discussed
  11. Match Up Ranking: To Be Discussed Recommended Playstyle: To Be Discussed Your Best Tools: To Be Discussed General Strategy: To Be Discussed Has A DP?: 623/A/B/C A - Has no invincibility, but is very fast in start-up and recovery. B- Slower version of 623A, but has upper invincibility (clairfication if it has low too?), and can be combo'd from in the corner. Does not hit crouching. C- Slow as heck, but has a ton of invincibility frames. Great vertical reach, not so much horizontal. Leaves him in crouching state. (Clarify if breaks primer or not?) Has A DP With Heat?: 623D, two-part DP, requires 25 heat (clarify if only first part is invincible) Ice Arrow (632146D) - Damage nerfed to heck. Things To Look Out For: To Be Discussed
  12. What time will the first event start? And now it's my turn to spend gas
  13. Noel being at -75. That.....actually could've gone alot worse. *looks at Makoto*
  14. January 8th is the designated date for the tourney yes. Whether Blazblue is going to be one of the games to enter remains to be seen. Id has said he will be bringing his own copy regardless for casuals, just not planning a tournament for it. However, if there is enough interest for it, a BB tournament can be arranged on that day.
  15. Being a Persona fan, I would vote for that.
  16. Umm she doesn't have a move that involves 214B or 214C. 214A is her command grab. Perhaps you are thinking of optic barrel? That has different ranges, but the input for that is 236A/B/C.
  17. Since the dash cancel after 22C is a....dash cancel, you won't be able to do anything till the animation finishes unlike a regular dash. If you are trying to combo off of a 22C>dash cancel, doing 22BBBBC>dash cancel>regular dash (optional)>6C usually allows enough untechable time for your dash animation to finish. (5 hits from 22B I think is the magic number for that) The alternative is to do only 22BC>regular dash>6C like it was in CS1. Haida loops will be taken out in general at CSEX thanks to repeat proration on 22B, so you don't have to worry about that (although it has been shown to have loop holes). However, dash cancelling will definitly enhance your midscreen combo potential. You land a random knockdown and 22C from far away, dash cancelling will enable you to reach him. You want damage? Repeated 22Bs provide a healthy amount of damage and you will still be able to combo off it with 22C>dash cancel.
  18. I'm working on it.
  19. Going to be there today as an excuse to get out and find food.
  20. I'll help run the BB tourney.
  21. Was there around 8pm to 9pm. Reading back, I definitly went there too early.
  22. I think I can make this. Here's to hoping I don't get lost trying to find the place.
  23. Well to be fair he did use moves that put out alot of hits before it dropped. Counted 4 hits from B silencer (horrible repeat proration as is) and d.6C. Maybe we still can get a full combo off it, but yes the damage is still meh.
  24. http://youtu.be/Esl3WsHhV1w?t=9m46s Looks like we have our BC>Muzzle Flitter combo back, along with other characters that could special cancel from throws (ie Ragna BC>Gauntlet Hades)
