22B should give the untechable time needed for 22BC to work afterwards. It's possible you could be doing this too fast like I used to (I tended to input B in the middle of the 22 motion on 22BC), or too slow. Also, it helps to buffer the 22 motion before your opponent lands on the floor after a hit from 22B.

W00t I play Baiken now in GG tourneys. Anyways, good games to all in BB, GG, and Tetris Attack. It was fun re-experiencing the game that took up most of my 1st grade.

I'm thinking the B Haida being narrower maybe means decrease in height of its hitbox? If it is, I'm guessing it's meant for those 214A>2B>6C>Haida combos that work with characters with a larger than normal hitbox (Haku, Tager, Ara, etc.) J.4D is eh for me until I see it myself. 2C>5C does not make any sense whatsoever.

Matsu quit? Wasn't he the R-1 of all the Rachel players?

FFA SoCal arcade scene: BB, GG, MB (and other airdashers)

GG's to everyone on BB,GG, and MB. P.S. The A.B.A player I fought against at 6 PM made me die a little inside. -
Is there some sort of timing in the 2B > 6C portion of the combo for 22B to hit afterwards? I've seen it done in many vids and I myself land it at random times.

After playing a ridiculously good Lambda for a few hours, I'm at a loss at what to do against this pile of scrapheap. Almost every round I get at least guard broken once trying to find a hole in her offense. Are the Act Parser moves viable to fish for counterhits with drive? Or should I just do what I did with Nu and RTSD with our now crappy normals?

It's auto-play afaik.

Thank you for the input. Well, after seeing some more vids of pro Bridgets, I am seeing my own flaws that I need to correct. I'm not throwing the yoyo out enough, need to incorporate more stuff into my blockstings (like 2K, rarely used that), use less 2S, and of course finding the FRC point on the important moves that are capable of leading to big combos. Am I wrong on this?

I would like to get some critique of my Bridget on it's first day at a minor tournament setting. Note I know I still have a LONG way to go before even being decent, so hopefully this newbish play of mine doesn't bother anyone too much. http://www.justin.tv/b/striderzer0/b/268068543 0:11:00 (vs. Jam) 1:19:00 (vs. Pot) 1:46:00 (vs. another Pot....)

Let's see how far I can go with these guns and yo-yos.

I want to share my own experience with the losing streak mentality. Blazblue was my first foray into the competetive fighting game scene. Before that, I button mashed with various other fighters for shits and giggles without knowing a single basic concept on each games basics. With that said, I joined my first Blazblue tourney at around May 09 at a local arcade that I was surprised even existed. Back then I had only had maybe a total of 3 days worth of actual practice under my belt with my main Noel (and still main to this day). When the games started, I saw what my opponents were capable of and obviously I got my ass handed to me on a silver platter. It was a good thing I suppose. No pain no gain. I got progressivly better, even at hard times with CS at Jan 2010 where supposedly my main got nerfed to the point of 3rd worst character. Now recently, I got to play against the top people again. Granted I haven't played these guys since nearly a year ago, but I wanted to see if anything has changed since I started practicing. It didn't go well, I was still losing horribly, getting perfected at times, and possibly not being taken seriously during my games with them. What's worse, I was dropping combos that I knew I could pull off from the get go. Am I progressing at all in skill? Has nothing changed at all? Now upon reflection, I concluded at some point that my losses was not only because of expecting too much from myself, but also that somewhere deep down in my mind, I was intimidated at what I was up against. Can losing repeatedly aginst this kind of skill also create an inferiority complex in this game?

Will maybe be there. -
I could use some experience against Rachel, or any Noels to fight against my Rachel. From what I can observe, Optic barrel is fast enough to beat almost all of Rachel's lobelias. With wind I'm not sure who's projectile hits first.

Those cabs look like they take alot of space. Anyways, that's great news. -
Hello, just picked up Bridget about 2 months ago after many attempts of trying to find mains. Started with Sol (too straightforward), then to May (I suck with charge moves), and various others. After practicing and looking up info/videos during those 2 months, I feel I can hold my own against other decent players and now I'm trying to take steps into Bridget's advanced gameplay. With that in mind, I have a few questions: 1) Are there any notable moves to FRC that are really crucial to her gameplay? Having only my local arcade to practice means no training mode and I can't see which moves are FRC-able. 2) What uses does 214K have? Besides swinging around randomly which I found pretty fun and addicting. 3) Can you get by without using the yo-yo "Come-Back" glitch?

Anybody still need a teammate for Saturday? I'll be available to join a team.

Having just found out I have free time during the weekend, I'm thinking of going to this tourney to test how far I've gotten in this game. One question, is the Blazblue tourney a B.Y.O.C. type of event?
